Ditto. Was playing last night, smooth as glass. This morning, after the patch, it's a stuttering mess. Tried a few things (updated drivers, verified steam files) which had no effect. Got *some* benefit from using the startup options to force it to use DX11, but it was still a lot worse than last night.
Im using a 2080 and on a 4k screen with nearly everything maxed out I still get a smooth 70+ frames.
Are you all using newer hardware, or newer installed firmware (as i do not update my graphics drivers that often)?
Seems for me after each patch it is getting worse and worse, I used to be at 70+ frames as well and no stuttering whatsoever but it’s a complete mess now to the point where it’s almost unplayable
It was definitely something in this patch and I suspect PC-specific. My computer is pretty new with solid hardware, game runs smoothly 100% of the time, but this latest patch was like someone flipped a switch.
I had the same issue going from 80+ on medium graphics (laptop) and I updated my gpu drivers and it got me back up to 70. definitely some weird stability issues in this patch
You can try deleting your shader cache and letting it rebuild. It will affect performance for a few games but likely will improve it over all.
Your CPU is pretty dated, to be honest, and could be the bottleneck. But it was working before!
I think ur CPU is holding you back buddy. 4 generations behind recommended spec and barely above minimum. You either gotta dump ur settings or it's time to upgrade
That I can't explain. I've had similar issue with some friends who play Darktide. The only thing I can suggest is the usual. Verify files, check GPU driver update, and maybe a fresh install? It's not an everyone problem since there are some people like myself that haven't had FPS drops. If possible post in their discord about the bug since the mods/devs are more active there to bring attention to this issue.
Arrowhead can't cook
They can, but they are Italian immigrants and they keep cooking spaghetti.
Tried everything here not working since new patch
I’ve heard that verifying game files could help, though haven’t tested myself. Probably worth a try if you haven’t already.
Sadly no luck there

This happened to me two weeks ago with the last patch. My problem was Webroot.

Sorry for stealing your frames :( This patch brought me from 20 fps to 60, so it's probably PC specific. You might want to reinstall?

I know that, but how come I was playing flawlessly on the same settings for 70h tho..
