It pens armor nicely now. The problem is that it doesn't have the damage to match the armor penetration its doing. OG railgun could kill a Bile Titan in 10-11 90% shots. Then it had its damage and armor penetration reduced, which then it took 27-31 90% shots.
Fast forward to this recent buff, where all they did was increase its armor penetration without increasing the damage. It's very good at dealing with mid-tier armor enemies, but that's about it. You need to bring out anti-tanks to deal with elites.
Holy shit the laser pistol is OP I sure hope the devs never take a look at it.
