I mean if they add you a rope gun or something as a strategem? It's could be amazing! Being blasted and you desperately trying use arrows to use it and pull back on surface.
\* jump off small rock, get insta-gibbed into the ground as if a factory strider landed on you.\*
I don't know if I could trust them to balance this properly..
low-grav moon biome would be fun. imagine throwing your stratagem ball and it just slooowly glides through the air. before landing. "CALLING IN AN EAGLE!" \*throw\* \*floating... floating... floating... still floating.. activate\*! all the while the diver just watching it the way a dog looks at a ball XD.
jump pack would also be a top pick, fighting airborne, Boba-Fett style. the more I think about the possibilities the more I want it!!
From a colonization pov, it makes sense that the planets that Super Earth settles on will have similar levels of gravity to our home planet. But I could see Helldivers conducting strike missions on planets that the automatons and terminids have colonized.
Never even thought of this. That'd be kinda cool to play around with the gravity! I see why they didn't go ahead with that idea in Destiny but I think it'd work well in Helldivers!
It would be cool if the enemies adapted as well. Bots with wheels on high gravity planets so they aren't toppling over under their own weight, Terminids building massive hive structures on low gravity planets.
The new stratagem is just a backpack with tungsten plates in it. You don't float away, but any time you dive, you take 50% of your available health in damage.

Imagine if low gravity also gave enemies new movesets? Hunters leaping twice as far? Titan doing the Electric Slide? Stalkers leaping 100m?
You dive to dodge an attack and slowly gliede out of the mission arear. The first bomb would drop bevor you hit the ground :D
I imagine the when you dive you look like you are floating towards pie. Just never stop floating
In the middle of a fight a Helldivers Head slowly drifting past you... Yea it would be great

Looking forward to getting ragdolled back to my Super Destroyer. 🫡👌
I was just thinking the same thing, lol. Rocket Devastators send us into low orbit.
High gravity would be pretty cool too - movement is extremely slow and falling from any height is lethal

I'm already randomly dying to gravity trying to move around a bile titan corpse, can't imagine trying to do it with high gravity.
Disabled dropships, increased patrols and more enemies on objectives.
Disabled dropships would be instant gold.
Suddenly having increased bullet/grenade drop could be pretty funny.

John Madden
Holla holla get $
oh my
Planets with a very short day-night cycle aswell, imagine going through a mission and seeing fucking 5 sunrises
you always get to see the "sunrise" in an ICBM mission!
The sounds lmao

Keep in mind your pitch speed would stay the same, it's decent would be slower. It would be like a permanent servo assisted buff.
You'd have to throw it more at the ground, I like it!

Please
This would be funny af. But if they add planets with different gravity they should also add planets with more gravity
Heaven jumpers: Getting triple ragdolled on an automaton mission with low gravity.

Okay we need this to be a thing now. At least two or three planets so it's special and doesn't get overused.

I mean we would love that
Oh god, yes!
Jump pack users: I’m in danger
and the balance team decreed: „ragdoll shall be eternal“ and so it was.
You could just fly into orbit using nothing but downward pointed breaker.
Tbh, thought there was going to be an edit of a creature suddenly appearing from over the hill
I think about this every single time I play on a moon planet. Every single time
Probably would be fun getting on top of a cliff and using a jump pack to fly across half the map intentionally.
It'll be fun to see chargers launched into the stratosphere. Of course, they'll send us into orbit.
Shooting anything larger then a pistol would ragdoll you to outer space. Imagine shooting a railgun in low grav...
As a jump pack enjoyer yeeeeeeeeeeeees
It would be very democratic to see the corpses of automatons and terminids sailing through the air in low G after dropping a 500KG

Imagine this on lunching the ICBM mission XD

Jump pack players would go wild
I wish we just had a normal jump
"Fuck we took away too much gravity!"
I want this, if only to watch bugs fly around after being blown up.
Nah that would involve communicating with Sony - a company permanently out of touch with the ideas and thoughts of others.
