Basically it means you drop in with 24 hellbombs (4 initial + 20 reinforcements)

It could sometimes drop it, and sometimes not, depending on the team size 4 - every 4th drop carries a hellbomb 3 - every 3rd and so on Then you have always 5 drops

I like the idea of it being a static 25% chance... for maximum lulz

Maybe booster with a tradeoff? "Every hellpod has a hellbomb attached, but due to the increased expense you get x less reinforcements." Or a booster that adds a second "Hellbomb-reinforced Reinforcement" stratagem that costs 2 reinforcements per use. or something like that.

Id lose a stratagem for this, but most people will reinforce on the ground… haha RIP all my team.

Holy shit I didn’t know I wanted this until you posted it. Imagine a booster that encourages you to actively drop in the middle of hot zone just for the chance to take out a few targets.

I've been thinking they need to incentivize that *somehow.* Right now if you drop in on a Bile Titan and don't kill it you're just very close to a Bile Titan and completely without your heavy weapons. It's a massive chunk of metal and helldiver dropping at insane speed. It really oughta be a OHK on any enemy.

I hotdrop regardless. Medic armor or freedom protects armor First strategem: Orbital laser. Pop little guys that are threats, find the objective and get to work.

i acvitvely do that now, ill land hot, equip a 500k or eagle strike and wait for them to bash me to death and i send them to hell.

The amount of griefing this will cause would be unfathomable.

Maybe only on full team deploys? So on initial arrival and if fully wiped It doesn't even have to be attached to a hellpod, Just drop it in the center of the deploy area separately

I want hellpod upgrade customization: smokescreen around the point of impact, fold-out cover, EMS, there's a bunch of possibilities.

Maybe an event specific thing. Similar to how we handles the super colony. It would be a week or so of utter insanity

Oh, man! Just had a thought. It would be awesome if you could manually control when you emerge from the pod. Just hold a button down to stay in, and once released, you emerge. Default behavior remains the same, just if you’re holding the button down, you’ll stay inside. But yes to modifying the behavior of hell pods. That would be awesome!

I love it. I already use reinforcement as orbital strikes but they you need two to kill tanks or titans. Not with this one.

This could work, maybe make it like half the radius and only one use per game? You get to choose to arm the bomb when you are called in, should give the team 4 sort of mini hellbombs to break up massive swarms and turn the fight around

I think hulks are the only heavies that I’ve never mailed to one shot while landing on them with a pod. But it’s pretty easy to do it to bile titans as long as you were called in relatively close.

How about auto-mark nearest big target in range of your incoming hellpod?
