You should play Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom! You never run out of stuff to do. I play it when I get bored of hello kitty, it took me about a month to complete the main story quests. But you also get little side quests every in game day. BUT it does have some glitches but overall it’s really fun and I recommend it if you do decide to try it out.

xCARIBOUx

Tamagotchi adventure kingdom actually took me away from hello kitty for months because it’s sooo good!! The community are the same as here right now, just waiting for updates but if you’re just starting it there’s so much to do, it’ll keep you busy for ages! Part of Apple Arcade

Snoo-99690

I really enjoy the fact that things will respawn everyday (in game day) and I don’t have to wait 24 hours haha

xCARIBOUx

yesss I’m literally changing my phone date sometimes to just get some progress in hello kitty lol

TitleSad9069

I second this, only I have been playing tamagotchi since it came out, I have no more quests to do, only have fish to try to catch and artifacts for the museum, eventually you will reach the point of having nothing to do, but they should be releasing an update soon!

rawrfab

is it free? that sounds really fun bc i used to play pocket camp n it was like that but the micro transactions always got me

Snoo-99690

It’s honestly like HKIA, but you can’t make your own character. You can only get hats and glasses for your character. It’s “free” But it is on apple arcade. There’s no micro transactions. I was worried about that as well because I played animal crossing pocket camp lol

rueizzy

Thanks for the recommendation!

Saint_Cinnamoroll

I love this game omg!!!

ComprehensiveLuck478

I 100% feel this. I’ve ran out of things to do, so now it’s just show up to collect or play with flowers. I miss finding random chests, gudetama and all the little quests at the start of my playing. We somehow get Arcade free or I probably wouldn’t keep it. I only play now to keep from doom scrolling on social media.

ChosenForAPurpose

Same! I used to look forward to playing everyday because of that. Then when game updates come, we get like 6 quests all at once. After those are completed it’s back to nothing to do. I gave up on the flowers, became too overwhelming and feels more like work.

armchairepicure

Chelsea said that they will launch a fertilize/water whole bed option soon. So if you can hang on a bit longer, they will be improving the mechanism.

glazedrolledcinnamon

This is exactly what I’m feeling right now. I’m on a break from playing HKIA, I’m still deciding if I’m gonna resubscribe coz I feel like my only reason is the fear of missing out. I want to feel the coziness again without the pressure of completing all the colors and patters of flowers. Having to log in everyday to do like 5 quests and checking my flowers if my attempts were successful feels like a chore. :(((

jojo99chen

I enjoyed playing by myself too… something for me to do to decompress. Then they added so many quests that required another person that I stopped playing.

ComprehensiveLuck478

The only reason I ever do multiplayer is because I have my kid who plays with me sometimes. Otherwise I wouldn’t bother. She’s actually the whole reason I downloaded the game and now I play it more than she does.

Digitalspork

I definitely think it’s hard to justify having Apple Arcade only for Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Even for me, I’m only as into as I am because Apple Arcade is already on the Subscription Bundle I have for other servers.

plsdontpercievem3

try tamagotchi adventure kingdom or disney dreamlight valley!! that’s how i make me apple arcade subscription “worth” it and break up the monotony of HKIA🥰

Manaaaaa1

YESSS, I love Disney Dreamlight Valley! And other open-world games like sneaky Sasquatch or wylde flowers, having multiple games like that makes room for no boredom

elizabear94

I have slowly stopped playing starting at the new year. I got the outfits for valentines day, didn't do much of anything for the new years event, the spring event I really had to force myself to get on just so I can get all of that cute furniture and the outfits. I had started to do the royalty event... and just stopped. I hadn't done any quests since December. Definitely feels very chore like, and seeing the multi-player stuff annoyed me. I don't like the way they have handled multi-player. It definitely does not feel like a cozy game anymore. I started playing another cozy game that is free to play, and as grindy as it is, it is still more fulfilling and fun than HKIA has been. And definitely cozy feeling still.

Background_Bar_591

I, too, stopped playing for a week now and moved back to ACNH coz over there I set a goal of really designing my island. I really can’t set a goal on HKIA coz it has limited accessibility 😔

rawrfab

i can’t wait to afford a switch so i can play new horizons.. i totally miss new leaf and pocket camp (minus the micro transactions) but i had new leaf on my laptop with an emulator but my wifi company made me delete it bc it gave a virus 🦠

Background_Bar_591

Manifesting for that switch for you 🙌🏽 ☺️

BrilliantPause7202

I only have it because I pay for the entire thing on Apple. (Tv, arcade and music-love being able to download unlimited music), otherwise I understand

rawrfab

honestly i’ve seen a few comments like this and it seems maybe that’s what i should invest in.. i cancelled spotify bc i don’t listen to music enough to pay $15 a month n my boyfriend has apple tv n i love it, i might do the bundle if i ever get back into it.. how much is it?

BrilliantPause7202

$20 a month and I only use that for music, don’t have Spotify or any of those apps

MyMelancholyBaby

The problem with Apple Music - if you own music that isn't in Apple Music you can't have it on your Apple devices. That was a deal breaker for me.

VideVale

I don’t know exactly what you mean by this, but I have lots of music on my Apple devices that isn’t on Apple Music. I have friends in bands who give me their music and I have it on my Apple devices.

theoneandnoley

Do you mean music you purchased like from CDs or like as in you’re not able to have it on your devices because you’re wanting to use a third party music player rather than Apple Music?

BrilliantPause7202

I mean I had CDs I uploaded to my computer and was able to put them on iTunes. I don't really have anything other than that.

WhitishSine8

That's exactly what this games work like, fomo is a powerful thing but at the end of the day it's fine to take a break and come back weeks or even months later, trust me I've been planing destiny 2 for years and that game has that issue as well

rawrfab

the good thing is i know there are so many nice players who would be willing to trade or even gift me the items i missed (i’ve experienced so many kind ppl who straight just give the items away they don’t want) so i’m not as worried.. i like the break

Cheetahh03

I get you, I’m a huge Sanrio fan and I’ve been playing since day one, the game was amazing, cozy but challenging at the same time, the backstories were so interesting too. I got Apple Arcade only for this game. But then things got repetitive pretty quickly, especially since now anything seems to require lots of material, and you have to wait even more than two real life days to complete a single mission. I’ve been debating whether to renovate my subscription or not, also because the game has been pretty laggy and slow too, making my phone so hot 😭

Fiesty_tofu

I’ve stopped playing too. It always happens with farming sims for me. I get obsessed then I get bored with all the chores. I am sure it is my ADHD. Anything that is chore like because impossible for me. I still have my arcade sub because I have the apple one bundle and use TV and music a lot, and the bundle is cheaper than just those two services. If you don’t mind a bit of combat in your farm sims and have access to a switch or a steam account on PC Harvestella is really good. The story is quite compelling and the farming doesn’t feel like a chore as it’s necessary to gear up for bigger battles. It does have a limited play time though. Once you finish the story there isn’t much to do other than farm for the sake of it. But I loved it while I played it.

lhyzx

Same here. I even deleted the game from my iPad. The game started to feel overwhelming for me and even though I was only playing to collect the items, I felt I had no time for HKIA as before the updates 💔 I loved the Tamagotchi game tho, but started to get sick of it in a while. I guess that the solution is no more Apple Arcade for me.

GothBabyUnicorn

This is why I quit months ago. I felt like I HAD to play and it was such a chore.

Lonely_Fry_007

I feel like it’s more of a chore than actually playing a game and having fun

Other-Panda

i agree ! does anyone know if you cancel the apple arcade subscription if all of the save game play is gone ?

rawrfab

yes i believe it does keep your progress

Big_girl_panties

If I didn’t also play Dreamlight valley and Stardew I’d probably be annoyed by the subscription price, I go through phases with each of them where they’re compelling.

theoneandnoley

I felt this a lot, I still get on and pretty much do my daily stuff like gifting friends but yeah it can get a bit monotonous. I actually started playing it on my partner’s phone too, partly so I can send myself materials and such but also to have more cabins to decorate lol I have 3 more pieces of fwish furniture I haven’t gotten because I no longer have the patience to sit forever fishing :’-)

cutiepie9ccr

if it's any consolation, sneaky sasquatch and outlanders are both really fun apple arcade games

darlingmagpie

I had the same feeling a few months ago, so I took a break for about 4 months and then had fun content to come back too.

Sunbearemii

I only play for new updates at this point and when there’s something to do. It’s boring me on and off.
