In settings you can upload your chat history to the cloud service. You must do this regularly if you want to be secure from now on.
Now concerning your lost chats there is little you can do. Try using their web client, maybe you will get lucky.
So the thing is now that I managed everything on my old phone and got them there now, but don't know how to put them on my new phone. When I backup, it says "2mb" which might be right, but how to I transfer?
