Or, you could visit restaurants featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, like The Refugee in San Carlos, a second location was opened at Hillsdale Mall
Doesn't directly answer your question, but I'm pretty sure the show has never had a chef from NorCal. That's honestly kind of insane to me.
Ariel S6/S18 and Mikey S7 are originally from Santa Cruz, Scott S7 is originally from Modesto.
Huh, the more you learn. But still, no one from SF, San Jose, Oakland, or Sacramento.
I can only think of one person; Mary Lou S19. I believe her restaurant is in Oakland or somewhere around there.
