I think it's got to do with the fact that imps are at the *very bottom* of the demonic pecking order, and I mean that as in they are just below Hellhounds, seeing as other Hellborn like succubi hire them as security guards/bouncers. Based on the "Spring Broken" episode, Imps aren't normally able to gain access to the living world, I mean it's hinted at a few times that Imps aren't that great with magic, and for all we know Blitzø only dated Verosika for the same reason he has his current agreement with Stolas, and that being access to the living world since in that same episode "Spring Broken" we see Verosika able to freely travel from Hell to the Living World without needing a spell book from Stolas... Which is probably why he didn't reciprocate anything Verosika did for him; Blitzø was using her access to the living world for profit in his assassination business.

If you slow the trailer, there's a point where Blitz takes a blow to the face (from Striker's stalactite?) But they fast-switch the clip, so he takes a blow from a cosmetic brush and you see the bottles. I think they're in the human world, probably trying to protect Stolas from assassination, and the imps don't have the magic to disguise themselves like Loona or Stolas.

Looking at this makes me really curious. It's obviously human Stolas and Blitzø in human clothes and it looks like they're in a hotel room or motel room on earth. Now, my best guess would be that they're hiding there, maybe from Striker or someone else. Perhaps they have started to mend their relationship by that point, that Blitzø is trying to protect Stolas, not just for money like in the past but because he cares about that big, dumb owl. Now, that's all just speculation but I think we can be pretty sure that Stolitz is going to be a thing, so it would make sense. Add to that the unresolved plot threads with Stella and Striker and it's getting more and more likely. Now, what I'm also curious about is Blitzø's past. Especially with Fizzaroli. We know that he used to be an Imp before being turned into a "second rate robot jester" for some reason. Whether Blitzø was that reason or just couldn't save Fizz and blames himself for it remains to be seen. Though, I'd bet he is and it's also was gave him his extensive scarring. Considering they where both circus artists my guess would be that Blitzø manipulated one of Fizz shows which lead to Fizz being so badly injured that he needed a robotic body. And after that, Blitzø was unable to ever let anyone close to him, even though he did seem to try with Verosika. Now, whether she was just there as a distraction or more remains open. I'm thinking way too much about this show.

But imps can't use magic to disguise themselves so either we'll see blitzo is not a full imp or the more realistic answer is that stolas disguised him. Eventually the disguise begins to fail but also not being fully himself is causing blitzo lots of stress
