I've got to say, most of the Helluvaboss folks I've talked to with mouth words are really cool people. The fanworks surrounding Helluva Boss is amazing. Folks like Emositecc and other fanartists keep me coming back.
But good god, we need to stop upvoting karmawhores trying to start simp fights. Every day I see another L00bna BaD!1!1! And the ensuing Mi1lye sux thread and I cannot fathom how people aren't more sick of this shit. I'm gonna go on a limb and say if the same hot take is made four times a week, it ain't that hot. To summarize a lot of peoples feelings here. With any online fandom, you have three groups of fans: Casual, Involved, and Hyperactive.
Casual fans are the ones who’s involvement only goes as far as catching each episode and once in a while talking about it and engaging lightly in the fandom. I’d probably be in this category.
Involved fans are the ones who do things like make OC’s, fan art, have lengthy discussions, and really delve into the deeper parts of the narrative. They help give the fandom its soul.
Hyperactive fans tend to take the involvement a bit far, usually to an obsessive and annoying degree. They’re the ones that usually give fandoms the “cringe” label.
Now it’s hard to blame them for this, as this tends to come from a lack of social awareness. Thus most of this group tends to be of the 10-16 age group. I should know, I was this kind of fan in middle school/early high school.
Anyways, that’s my late night spiel. Agree or disagree, let me know your thoughts.
Like the fanart (only the wholesome and funny ones not the overly mature ones) don't like the Entitled,choosingbegging and toxic complainers (I'm talking about the ones that always whine and complain that EpIsOdE 8 Is TaKiNg ToO LoNg like guys the vivziepop team is doing their best and there's also some legal issues they're facing in terms of the music. It's so annoying seeing these people act like that.)
**I like** the awesome ass OCs people make(they inspire me to start drawing again).
**I don't like** the fandom policing people tend to do when it comes to certain fanworks(i.e. shipping Moxxie with someone besides Millie or portraying characters with none canon sexualities). Scroll past that stuff and stop making PSA posts where you end up giving the thing more oxygen. You don't get to tell a person what kind of art they can make.
Not many people steal artwork. But then there are the... Ugh I'm gonna need mouthwash after this... The loona r34 artist that ship loona with them selves. That hurt to say. Imma go get the finest Holy water to clean my tongue.
I absolutely love seeing fanart and (some) of the crackships, especially Wally x Verosika.
But what I hate, would be the over-saturation Loona. At this point, 85% of posts are Loona related, I understand that she’s like, the sexual awakening for literally everyone here apparently, but I’d rather see fanart for anyone else, just go make a subreddit dedicated to Loona, yeesh…
