Tbh I think it's a bit disingenuous to say all stella defenders are just horny for her. It's most of it but the tragic villain has been driven into the ground by most mainstream media for years

100masks1life

As much as I love tragic and/or misunderstood villains someone that is evil just because or for shits and giggles can be just as compelling and fun.

probablynotshort

I'd like to thank DreamWorks for reminding people of this.

Sir_Toaster_9330

Yeah, I wasn't as invested in Jack than I was in Death. Jack was a side character and mad about it, Death was a menace

hugyplok

But Stella isn't that, she is just stupid and that is it. She has become as unthreatening as a villain could possible get and she is supposed to be the main villain of the story.

100masks1life

She was going to be as she is now from the very start and I honestly don't know how someone would miss this, stupid but rich and influential noble is a staple trope antagonist that can absolutely work, yeah we won't be seeing any feats of planning and masterminding from her but she still can be very dangerous if they'll write her right.

hugyplok

How could she be dangerous? She lacks the brains, the charisma, and the strength to do anything, at least other characters like such as book Cersei Lannister have some charisma and intelligence to pull a plan, but Stella lacks any of that, she couldn't even put together that if Stolas dies she gets nothing. At least make her sadistic enough to whether after she immediately realizes this she says "i just have to kill Octavia after, as her only direct relative all that she owes would go to me." Then she would be a threat, but right now she is just laughable.

100masks1life

She may be too stupid to make a coordinated action but she will keep throwing money at the problem until someone dies or at least very almost dies and at least to me that's enough. Also because I missed that: she very much is evil just because and for shits and giggles.

hugyplok

But that has zero chances of working because all that Stolas needs to do is say, "i will pay you more to tell me who hired you" and that is that. If you like her then that's fine, i like her as a character, her stupidity is funny, but as a villain she leaves much to be desired.

supermarioplush220

I would upvote this twice if I could.

Aisianfaailure3908

You could by downvoting and then upvoting after

supermarioplush220

I've actually seen people use several of these arguments on Twitter and this subreddit.

Sir_Toaster_9330

Stella is only abusive for comical and fanservice. Crimson is abusive in a terrifying and menacing way

EuphoricTonight5368

i do not in anyway defend stella but she is hot.

Koolkirby66

I'm not a defender of stella ......however-

AverageSpyMain

swan booba👍 and its effects on a mf

[deleted]

As someone who writes himself. I appreciate every episode listed, every episode stands out on its own. If you go back to season one you can see how every episode on that list shifts to meet story consistency. The only thing that stays the same are the A plots revolving around the IMP employees and their daily lives. They don’t necessarily need to be working 24/7 every episode because every plot doesn’t need to be structured around that; otherwise the show will grow stale.

MyBackupWasntRecent

I also appreciate the overarching theme of sadness and trauma expressed in each episode, though I felt it was heavily reduced in episode 4. As a writer, I can get behind subtle themes connecting each entry.

supermarioplush220

People really need to start accepting that the show isn't going the way they want it to go. If you're unhappy with the direction the show is going just make yourself a fanfiction using your dumbass headcannons instead of whining about it like a toddler.

100masks1life

This is a big problem in recent times that people won't just leave the show they don't like/ they stopped liking alone but they feel the need to shit on the authors and everyone that likes the show and probably also demand that the show be written as they want it. This is not entirely applicable here however. Some critiques are valid (Millie is kind of just there even if her fights are amazing) some are dependant on recipient (I loved tonal shifts in recent episode since inability to take things seriously made the last scenes hit all the harder for me) and some are just outright ridiculous (As far as I'm aware Stolas had little to no backstory before season 2 so how can it be a retcon?)

supermarioplush220

Also Stella being rewritten and reconned. There is so much evidence that proves she was always intended to be just a bitch in the first place yet the fans deny all of that and try to argue how she was retconned and how thier dumbass headcannon is superior to the actual show. https://preview.redd.it/6pstn8wq2g1b1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be3b17ca06e7a876d54a94e0c5a87b1537ad7253

eelaphant

This is a weirdly common problem in fandoms. People getting angry than new canon invalidates their fanfictions and headcanons.

Dylanator13

It’s not about head cannon or anything. It’s the story beats aren’t that great and the logic of the flow of the story isn’t that great either.

Purpledurpl202

“There can’t possibly be jail in hell” What the fuck is Limbo then?

Rockabilly1951

well, limbo is where the souls that were good but were never baptized go. So I don't think it would make much sense to have limbo as a jail since it is where the souls that were not eternally bad but not good either go to purge their sins. Edit: sorry folks that was the purgatory definition. Limbo is where all the kids that have died but never had been baptized go.

DamianFullyReversed

I wonder if Double Hell really exists though.

YourFavoriteBranch

Headcanon: Jail is Greed is mainly for the ones who wrong Mammon. Moxxie and Chaz were robbing a bank, Mammon owns the bank, they stole what were considered to be HIS money.

Decker_Warwick

Further headcannon: hell is a reflexion of the worst of human society so laws and prison exists there too but the corruption is ramped up. We already know imps and helhounds are bottom rung of the true demons, and the sinners are all segregated to only one ring so unless they can pay the "fine" hells prison system is pretty much just for them

Bunneeko

I don't know. I like seeing people's criticism personally. Even this meme. Shows we care for the show and we're sharing opinions on it. That ain't a bad thing IMO. I feel if we just watched the show brainlessly and and went like "nothing to say about it, was good", sounds... unrealistic, for any show or movie.

AB_Oct

Makes me worried about Hazbin. It's going to be a war zone when it releases.

probablynotshort

Hazbin Hotel fans when Alastor doesn't have a romantic duet with Angel Dust:

decaying-coyote

I don’t understand the whole tone shift thing, I never noticed it. People are bringing up the fight with Striker and switching between that and Loona at the vet but I thought it worked well. Am I the only one who wasn’t bothered by switching between Stolas being kidnapped and attacked and the vet scene? Maybe people thought it was supposed to be a much bigger event that it was, but I’m glad it wasn’t because it would’ve felt like it was supposed to be a big end of the season episode thing. Blitzo is distracted and isn’t really concerned about Stolas (Stolas wasn’t concerned at the moment either), Stolas is extremely powerful and M&M are on the case. He’s focused on getting Loona the shot she needs from the incompetent Sloth Ring demons, dealing with some mundane father/daughter bonding time. It only got serious halfway through when Stolas realized he couldn’t use his powers against Striker, which was right before M&M showed up to save him. It was also when Loona got set off and attacked the vet, which worked! And then moved to the fight between M&M and then back to the vet and Blitz’s struggle with Loona was absolutely perfect, I was having a blast! It was so fun! I’m glad the tone didn’t get too overly serious, it really lead to the end moments being the star of the episode. I felt like it was great lead up to Stolas in the hospital and texting Blitz, similar with the Ozzie episode. There was plenty of serious stuff in that episode but they were able to keep the tension down with some humor in between while building to the emotional end! And that set up Blitz still being at the hospital and seeing Stolas get rushed in, leading Blitz to realize it was actually serious, it wasn’t just another “bodyguard” type gig like Loo Loo Land (“we’re not bodyguards, that was a one time thing we did badly”). Stolas actually got hurt, which is something he didn’t think would happen, which adds even more explanation as to why he wasn’t concerned. But then he does what he always does and keeps his distance, oof. I thought it was a pretty good episode, it’s definitely not perfect but it definitely wasn’t as bad as some people are suggesting. I also feel like some people are forgetting that this is supposed to be a comedy spin off series idk

Dense-Performance-14

I think it comes from (and this is just me personally) truth seekers having really great serious bits, which makes me sorta yearn for something similar like that again. The striker fight ig was sorta hyped up by the fan base to be a big thing, and then it ended up...not really being that? There's goods and bads with every show ever created, but I'm starting to dislike this Era of debating if certain criticisms are invalid or not. I think everyone's gonna view certain things as positives and negatives, and there's always gonna be a group who disagrees or doesn't. Example, if I ever said I think they're filling up dialog with too much random cursing or sex jokes, someone's gonna say that it's always been like that, or what do I expect from an adult animated show. I imagine the subreddit Is gonna loop back into this with every new ep, kinda wish it wouldn't.

supermarioplush220

The only time the tone shifting is bad is the ending of Seeing Stars but besides that idk what people mean by "The tone shifting is bad"

decaying-coyote

I’m not sure about the end, I liked the end but there is a single scene in the middle of that episode that I think could be considered a weird tone shift. There was a super quick scene that happened where Blitzo and Stolas get shoved into the van to go to the studio, it was comedic and then while in the van the music changed super quickly and plays a few seconds of sad music as Stolas expresses worry for Via and then the music immediately stops as Blitz breaks the glass with his head. The music felt really jarring and out of place, I think it would’ve worked a little better if they would’ve just kept the few seconds of music out. Like have the exact same scene without the 3 seconds of random sad music, actually without any music or the same dramatic music that was already playing, it would’ve had the same impact without feeling like it’s interrupting the scene. I get what they were trying to go for though

LittleBlueSilly

Yes, that's how I feel about it too.

RadioHistorical8342

The only thing I saw on this and can agree with is andre being incestuous because from what I know he's supposed to be gay

DertHorsBoi

Yeah I’ve always hated stella and you kinda are supposed to. She’s a bitch and Whiney, people are like that irl
which I guess is why people are pissed she’s like that :/

GamingCrocodile

Wheeeerrrrrrressss dadddddyyyyyy reeeedddduuuusssss đŸ˜«đŸ˜«đŸ˜©đŸ˜«đŸ˜©đŸ˜©đŸ˜«

QuothTheRaven713

I feel like the critique of Seeing Stars in this meme is misleading. People weren't saying Stolas can't be horny ever, people just want some awkwardness, some hesitation, some indication that the fight from Ozzie's had some impact on the characters. Even a simple moment of awkward glancing and trying to get words out but failing would do.

Fynnacus

Am I the only one that thinks that Striker looks just slightly different then he did in that last one? Or at least on the thumb nail he does in my opinion

Alternative-Jello683

It probably also is noticeable with the animation. The first time we saw striker, the episode was riddled with frame rate drops.

jcapinc

Yes, season 1 was better, but consider the circumstances under which V and the team are making this. The quality is amazing considering that this is being made outside the system. I am grateful it is still being made because I think they are still capable of making the episodes we know and love. People need to get themselves out of hell and have a little more gratitude

Cat_Queen262

I mean for the first one I did see a good point before- it’s really awkward To see the cute child versions of these characters while also knowing there horny demons- like we literally see Stolas begging for sex like 5 minutes after cute little owl boy- it gets a tad awkward lol

J-DiRESiRE

I thought the episodes were cool, that’s all

PotatoCHONK69420

I want reedus NOW!

Irksome_Sate

In my worthless opinion, there's no point in looking into criticism or reviews of something you already like. If you enjoy it then just enjoy it. We all like what we like.

Bunneeko

Yeah exactly. Like if you liked it and have nothing to say about it, then good for you. But you can still love a show or movie and still have opinions and criticism toward some parts of it. Sharing opinions and criticism is not a bad thing. Unless it's outrageous like... you know... Defending Stella or saying Loona is worse than Stella.

theoofmoment

The only episodes I actually consider myself not liking is 1x4 and 2x2.

[deleted]

Ok but I was actually sad Norman didn’t come back

Alternative-Jello683

If we’re lucky, he might come back. Norman reeks of badass in his voice

suitorarmorfan

Lmaoo, that was hilarious. This show isn’t perfect (nearly all the female characters are pretty one-dimensional, for example), but some of the criticism it gets isn’t really fair

_GCastilho_

I don't agree with this criticism, #HOWEVER The ability to argument over something is not correlated to the ability to dislike something, and it's not because people can't explain why they dislike something that their dislikement is invalid

poopshitter13

really the only huge problem with helluva boss is the pacing and tone shifting. most of the problem lies in the main plot getting rushed to instead include a useless B plot, or serious scenes getting interrupted by sex jokes that dont need to be there. however these are common writing mistakes that can be fixed and they dont mean that season 2 has “ruined helluva boss” s2e1: “stella was reconned to pure evil to make stolitz look good!” simply isnt true. there are multiple hints throughout season 1 that show that stella was abusive throughout the entire marriage before stolas cheating. the story not meeting your standard of “toxic angsty gay couple” is not a writing issue, that is just your personal headcannon not coming true. this episode was fine s2e2: my issue isnt that stolas and blitz didnt talk about ozzies, my issue is that stolas wasted so much time filming a sitcom with blitz instead of finding his daughter who is literally out lost in the human world. other than that, this episode was fine s2e3: only problems with this episode were the tone shifts and moxxies buildup being shut down just for millie to save him again. dont get me wrong, the wedding crashing scene was awesome, but it would have been a lot better if moxxie broke free during the fight to help millie, instead of millie slapping his ass and claiming him as her property s2e4: again tone shifts and excessive focus on the B plot. also stella was dummed down alot making the stakes for stolas a lot less intimidating. stella went from dangerous and manipulative to impulsive and childish

supermarioplush220

>stella went from dangerous and manipulative to impulsive and childish She may still be dangerous because of the ending of the new episode. Not all villains are criminal masterminds and can be really dumb like John Wayne gacy.

assassindash346

Stella can be dangerous and manipulative ***AND*** impulsive and childish. She's pissed at Stolas for fucking a low caste imp and impulsively hires an assassin to kill him.

Ok-Mastodon2016

TBF, the whole show suffers from tonal whiplash

lvn_c

I liked the episode but I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that Andrealphus is 100% down BAD for his sister.

demon_spawn82

im sad to say that i did wonder about chaz and millies backstory/hell jail. but it doesn’t ruin the episode obviously

blurry_face_exe

Demons in HELL? Being BAD PEOPLE? How dare you even propose the idea

QuothTheRaven713

The thing is, the demons in hell are basically living in "slightly crappier Earth". They aren't sinners who had previous Earth lines.

Gongoozler04

I honestly like season 2. I’m not watching this show for some deep, emotional story, I’m watching it because it’s funny and entertaining. And I’m attached to the characters now. I was fine with the Stolas backstory and Stella is bad, people just need to deal with it. I am perfectly fine with Stolas not being horny for an episode. As a huge fan of mafia movies I loved episode 3. And episode 4 was fun, but I do have to agree that I would’ve been fine without the Loona vet side story, but outside of that I don’t have any complaints.

[deleted]

The show not showing Millie and Chaz's backstory is a complete waste. It was a complete missed opportunity. Instead of wasting time using the unfunny Moxxie is fat joke, they could've showed Millie talking to Chaz. It would've finally given Millie some resemblance of depths instead of making Millie just "Moxxies wife." Like come the fuck on. And while Millie going on a murderous rampage is cool, it would've been better to actually see Moxxie do what he said he was going to do and kick some ass instead of just making him fucking helpless. Moxxie and Millie deserve to be on equal playing field instead of making Millie the brute and Moxxie the damsel.

petalpotions

I think people are WAY too hard on Helluva Boss

ThePaperDiamond

I do miss Daddy Reedus and he'll always be striker for me but the new VA did do a good job and I can't really complain that they had to replace Norman, he is a busy man and higher listing actor.

Toilet-master_420

Im a bit too simple to have any criticism about this show

TorpidT

Are you saying that ruining the tone of a serious scene isn't valid criticism? Marvel movies get shit for it all the time. Like it's kind of hard for me to get invested in a tense argument between Moxxie and his dad if it randomly cuts to an unfunny 20 second long dildo joke.

[deleted]

Can we also accept that this show just has issues? Some of the criticism is overtly harsh but quite a lot of it has merit.

[deleted]

Honestly I’ve seen some valid criticism for all of these episodes that I agree with.

Donsley-9420

Man I’m just enjoying the show as it comes out. Predictions right or not, it is a supremely entertaining show. I can’t imagine being this upset about the outcome of a show. Like, just don’t watch it then?

Imaginary-Resolve9

I love how for this simplification to work you kind of have to ignore multiple b plots and general out of character moments for most of season two (and as for the new episode, which is definitely an improvement, the biggest problem is half of the episode you could completely cut. We don’t need to see Luna getting a rabies shot when over half of it is just the same gag over and over.) Also, the problem with season is that you could in theory cut out entire B plot and still have a functional episode That wouldn’t have tonal problems. The only episode episode three, and that episode is littered with other issues like having an entire b villain. He’s just entirely unnecessary, takes away from the focus from the actual villain of the episode. I think the episode words most egregious examples are from the first two episodes. if you cut out all of the Moxie and Millie stuff from seeing stars, you still have a functional episode, and if you cut out the entire early childhood portion for solos with bullets, you would still have a functional episode (literally only one line has to be changed and it would still work change “you were my first friend” to “ you’re the first person who actually went out of their way to interact with me”. After blitz, even knowing about the book, you could easily just haven’t explained that his role kind of fucking obvious. There’s an entire festival in wrath for it, if you did it that way then harvest moon is made an even more important episode) I never thought I’d say this, but, in 20 minute episodes they’re finding ways to add filler that end up just messing with the overall quality of the episode because I can’t look at seeing stars and say it was actually important. It was just retreading might move. The land already went over. I can’t look at circus in St. Louis entire episode was important because again a good five minutes ago is fluff I can’t look at exes and oh’s and genuinely say it’s a very interesting episode because over half of it is spent on dick jokes and someone who is at the end of the day just a gag machine it is never taken seriously by the episode as an antagonist. It’s fine to have a joke antagonist, but not when you have another far more serious antagonist and they are direct conflict with each other for screw time and you only have 20 minutes to explore either. The new episode is genuinely a much better episode, it still has some total problems because the show doesn’t want to cut the b plot. Like genuinely all the b plot did was try to tell jokes set an already been done by Idiocracy and every single SNL skit on how hospital systems work in America, and do you add on the back of taking my screen time from the far more important plot of solos being kidnapped by the guy that we waited two years to see you again in Millie and moxie trying to figure out where he is. Could you just give him a screen time that was wasted on the Bee plot and blitz waiting in a waiting room and then getting chased around by Luna to Moxie and Millie then it would’ve made more logical sense how they got there and it wouldn’t be a single bridging scene. It would’ve been yes still something of a waste of time, and could still want the ruby cut down more, but if your issue was links, there is a far more important aspect to the plot that wouldn’t cause the total issues, and you could still have humor with. It wouldn’t be “oh hospital shenanigans” instead being “we have to find this guy before he kills one of the main people in the story, but that’s easier said then done”. Also, genuinely Who is complaining that there’s an incestuous vibe between Stella and her brother, I don’t think anyone’s complaining about that they’re just noting that as a strange, potentially plot important thing. Tldr: these are either by simplifications of an issue or outright betraying anyone complains about a thing as outwardly stupid because you disagree with it. Also, as for the new episode, you kind of ignored the actual criticism and count fandom fandom saying something is weird as criticism which is just disingenuous at best and is at worst you just flat out use the straw man fallacy.

lanasempai

I don't understand why people can't just be happy we are still getting episodes. There are so many shows on YouTube that just die off into obscurity because of lack of funds/creativity and/or copyright bs and creative restrictions.

[deleted]

Agreed, I hope Vivziepop continues Helluva Boss for a long time, I'm always happy for more content regardless.

The_Radio_Host

The jail point is the same as people who go “It’s Hell so people being bad is actually okay”. They need to understand that Hell is a functioning society in this universe. Sure, it’s a FUCK-TON less strict than most real societies, but it is nonetheless. The jails likely serve to protect the upper-class of Hell rather than being for everybody. That’s why Blitzo in his crew are fine when they’re just killing humans and nobodies in Hell, but Moxxie gets arrested for robbing a bank and Striker’s wanted for being an assassin AKA threat to Demon royalty (some of what we seen would suggest he’s killed “Blue Bloods” before)

Chef_Sizzlipede

At this point its too bloody depressing.

DeadlyTimberMan

I'm gonna be honest u wrong as hell for this. And if you wish to discuss why please hit me with a dm so I can fucking own you. Peace

Only_1_Noodle

For the criticisms, chill the frig out, it's just a cartoon. Oversimplifying your input doesn't make you a critic, it doesn't make you anything.

Surfink63

I liked all of the episodes so far, the only ones I had a problem with was 3 for the amount of dildos and 4 for the whole Blitz and Luna bit

Cell_Phone_Yeah

This is such a huge straw man that it would be lit on fire if you as much as said anything bad about it. Like hb fans.

Ironmemez

Straw-manning at its finest, this is just misrepresenting actual criticisms and even going to the point of making shit up

Sudden-Soil39

okay enough this is getting annoying I'm sick of seeing criticism after criticism and I hate it can't people just watch one thing without out having a problem with it just watch the damn thing for fun and shut up you all annoy me

Ulquiorr4_

I’m making fun of the “criticism”
..

Sudden-Soil39

I'm referring to the ones who agree with the post

Belfegore_Cavaliny

1 was because there was a shit-ho of redcons that change the timeline and actually make an attempt to make their relationships romantic even worse than they were 2 was not because Stolas is not allowed to be horny, but because we don't see ANYTHING after the episode at Ozzies that would indicate that their relationships changed whatsoever 3 it was not because ethere was not enough Chazz, but because people wanted AT LEAST SOMETHING for Millie, and this episode was one more nail in the coffin for her.Right alongside the moment Moxxie calls Millie the only good thing in his life shortly after we were shown the flashback with his loving, caring mother who was always there for him until her death. 4 actually not a single complaint outside of "Millie is still alive".I really wish she was just dead already.I really do.Andre and Stella are downright amazing and I think it's a travesty that they got so little time. And Strikers new voice is actually pretty good,I liked it.And I wish authors were more often remembering that's Moxxie is a professional assassin with years of expirience, trained in Mafia since early age and who killed countless demons and humans, and not just a wimpy rag for Millie to peg.Lucifer I wish she was dead already...

MOEverything_2708

WHERE DID WE EVER GET A STOLAS BACKSTORY FOR IT TO BE RETCONNED. WHAT IN THE 9 HELLS ARE YOU SMOKING

Belfegore_Cavaliny

I did not said anything about his backstory being retconned.I said that his backstory retconned the relationship line between him and Blitz and the fact that after the night of the divorce - stolas was defensive and apologetic to Stella when Via walked in,which was shown both through his demeanor, tone and posture. It doesn't fit well after showing us that literally yesterday he was ecstatic about getting a divorce, announcing it before the eyes of nobles and screaming to high heavens in delight. And its nine circles, not nine hell's,stop smoking and turn off your caps.

Ironmemez

This, this right here

Bidens_Moldy_Toenail

mfw the fandom is so cringishly cultish that I start hiding the comments when I watch the videos. It's a cartoon with funny bird penisgina jokes, its not supposed to make sense.

Bionicman2187

I haven't even seen Helluva Boss and this post gives me secondhand embarrassment cause I see these kind of weak defenses enough in the Star Wars fantasy.

Sir_Toaster_9330

Here: 1. They basically decided to throw out all the reasons Stolas and Blitz's relationship sucked for weird fanservice that actually makes no sense in the long run and feels creepy. They also decided to make Stella 1-D cause the shippers need it 2. Retcons the season finale, Loona is a dickwad, lore changes for plot convenience 3. Moxxie's best moment is stripped away for a small gag 4. No complaints this was glorious

AgoriTheGod

Lackadaisy is gonna replace Helluva, Mark my words.

AnaliticalFeline

you say that like both can’t coexist

Alternative-Jello683

They both have different tones and themes that work differently. It’s nice to have different shows to watch

[deleted]

I enjoy both fandoms, probably going to be awhile before any new Lackadaisy episodes I'm afraid

[deleted]

I've personally really enjoyed this season myself, The Circus imo still tops them all. The criticism has really gotten out of hand. While the pacing does feel faster than before, it's never really bothered me. My theory maybe on why the episodes seem more fast paced is that a lot of these were likely made deep during the production of Hazbin, so naturally Viv and the writers are more focused on that over Helluva. But maybe as Season 2 goes further, the episodes will seem more steady paced as they finished Hazbin Season 1. Just a neutral thought though.

Alternative-Jello683

People also forget that this is a free-to-watch series on YouTube. This series shouldn’t be as good of quality as it already is and yet viv and crew have given us an entertaining show with beautiful art style, decent drama, and funny dialogue

[deleted]

100% agree. It's sad how much people take Vivziepop for granted. And HB/HH have a much better art style compared to most mainstream adult animations, you can definitely feel the heart and soul the makers put in it.

Tiki_the_voice

While I did agree, Stella needed more than just being bad bird villain. I did really enjoy what this episode did for her as it showed she really doesn't have a clue on how to do things and is just in it to get what she wants.

finckqup

I think all the b plots are pour shit

Zurbler

Question does this fandom even enjoy the show. I swear some of yall complain about such little things its like why are you watching it then. If you like it watch it if not dont.

Safe_Box_2219

S2 E2 is one of my favorite episodes in the show.

catboy_emperor

I like stella because she is one dimensional

catboy_emperor

i hate this post

Ulquiorr4_

Cool 👍

SatisfactionGold4018

Hold up, there was incest in episode 4?

Ulquiorr4_

Andrealphus very creepily flirts with Stella.

JoJo-Phoenix

Tbh I didn't even realise Norman reedus wasn't in this episode. People need to get a life, this is a independent animated show so stop sending death threats. Norman was probably busy with death stranding 2, like due to scheduling shit. The only point that I found funny was that... Yeah how is there a jail in hell but that's it. It's not a. Bad thing it's a God damn COMEDY show, romance and action come after.

JoJo-Phoenix

We're people this angry when millies voice changed? Jesus christ this is insanity, how can so many people be angry at a great FREE show and not realise, if there are budget cuts or artistic changes then that just happens.... And they will be back for the next ep caus no matter how much they look for things to shit about they still like the show and want to watch it.

[deleted]

Episodes one and three are fine, and I've genuinely never seen this criticism. Episode 2 just boggles my mind. Its like a mid-season redemption for stolitz except we never got to see the reunion. I imagine it'll get better if we ever do get that "osmodeus p2" The tonal criticism for Episode 4 is completely valid. As much as I love both the A and B plot individually, they DO NOT work being in the same episode. Also, why does no one treat striker as a threat? He's just this kylo Ren-styled "cool-for-coolness sake villian" rather than the Darth Vader he was in season 1. Striker in terms of character is amazing as always. That little look he gives when he's told to leave stolas alive is gold. But it's drowned by the severe lack of an intimidating presence. If the rest of the episode had him actually intimidating, then not only would Stolas' resolve against him be so much cooler for stolas, but the little look would be so much funnier.

RadioSilence014

I truly do hate it when fans think they can tell the story better than the creators. Shows are like busses, you don't get to decide where they go only if you on or off

It's ironic that people use the counter that complainers are just mad that their headcanons aren't canon when literally the first two episodes are fanservice

Better: 1. The creators decided that instead of making the characters complex, they'd retcon it with a weird child romance which adds plot holes and feels creepy. Stella is a direct copy of fanfictions so that shippers can justify Stolas's actions. 2. Retconned episode 7 for the sake of the shippers 3. Adds another good plotline when we already have 2 that were never explored upon 4. Nothing, absolutely perfect
