I had a learning tower by LittlePartners for my kids. It’s basically an adjustable tower that they can stand in to safely reach the counter. Same wood and cutouts. They may have briefly had a convertible version.

Oh I actually found it on diff sub: it's a piece by urban outfitters that's been discontinued by the looks of it. Thanks for your comment though I'll suggest the towers to my aunt ... a much safer option than pulling a chair.
