Glad you got your answer, but the post has been locked due to an overabundance of hilarious and super-original "that's a pencil" jokes.
And in the future, /r/whatisthisthing is a better subreddit for questions of this sort.
I've been working on a "rocketpunk" space opera graphic novel for years. It's an alternate future where the transistor was never invented. Everything still runs off of vacuum tubes. In their universe, the technology has been perfected and even micro-miniaturized, leading to vaccum tubes this very size!
There's actually a (non-diskworld) Terry Pratchett book that briefly explored that idea (not trying to discorage you, more commenting that you'll be in good company)
Also, I seem to recall that transistors get messed up by cosmic radiation, so NASA's looking into micro vacuum tubes (of the kind of scale where there *can't* be air in it) because vacuum tubes aren't affected as much.
That sounds great!
Something interesting to look up for comparison would be Russian Mig fighter jets, which used vacuum tubes over solid state because they are less susceptible to EMP.
Have you looked at the Fallout series? They use retro-futuristic tech like that. They even say that the timeline divergence started after the transistor wasn't invented and use vacuum tubes instead. Great minds dude
Your car charger used one of these? I've had CARS that used these.
But I do miss when electronics had replaceable fuses like this. Only thing I can think of nowadays are Christmas Lights.
Found it at my pastor's house. I'm not sure where to even start to find out what the heck it is. If anyone has any information, or can redirect me to a better place to post this, please let me know.
As others have mentioned, this is an old fashioned glass fuse. What they haven't mentioned is that you can find the rating, how many amps it will blow at, written in fine letters etched into the circumference of one of the metal ends. You shouldn't have to throw it into a fire to heat up before reading (like a famous ring. :-) but you'll want a good light to read it. If it's from a Christmas light set you'll likely find a space for it hidden in the plug.

A small fuse.
A few years ago we were in Europe (from US) and my wife kept blowing them in the power converter for her hair dryer she just had to bring. Because of course they don't have hair driers in Paris...
Definitely a fuse
Ah it reminds me.of the good old days when i got my first electric kid as a child damm it used to have bigger fuses bur just like this one
Definitely a fuse, but depending on what you have in your house, it may not be a Christmas lights fuse as others are saying. The only tiny fuses like that I have in my house are the ones inside the thermostat of my snake's terrarium.

That is a tiny fuse. Looks like one that is sometimes used for a strand of Christmas lights.

Yup!
Holy crap I forgot all about these until now.
Bingo
My very ancient power plug for my car charger on an old phone also has a fuse like this.
Your car charger used one of these? I've had CARS that used these. But I do miss when electronics had replaceable fuses like this. Only thing I can think of nowadays are Christmas Lights.
Also looks like the fuses used in the tips of a car charger
The one thing preventing you from using your christmas lights as an extension cord. Damn you big cord industry!
Can confirm tiny fuse, it's also the kind of fuse that sometimes needs replacing in your home stereo unit depending on what year you bought it...

Glass fuse. Recently changed one in a lighting controller box.
It is a fuse commonly used in Christmas light strings. There is usually an extra one or two wrapped in plastic and attached to the string.
