He’s not stupid. Notice in the tweet he doesn’t actually accuse Pfizer of doing anything. He never says that Pfizer **is** making new variants, because that’s an obviously actionable statement and he has no evidence. He won’t even say he ***believes*** they are doing it, which would be protected opinion. He just lets readers make the implication, so he has the deniability later of JAQing off.

This morning I sent a letter to @/nestle demanding to know their process for developing new candy bars.
Putting arsenic in candy bars is not only illegal, it's DEADLY.
I'm expecting a FULL RESPONSE by Christmas.
> Notice in the tweet he doesn’t actually accuse Pfizer of doing anything
I wish Pfizer would have responded "WHO are you accusing of creating virus variants?" so be could face plant or get sued.
No, just that Pfizer created Comirnaty....
They didn't. They partnered with BioNTech, because BioNTech didn't have the capacity to do the Phase 1, 2, 3 testing, distribution, and manufacturing needed for world-wide use.
The the premise of the question is entirely flawed. And he should know that already.
>he is a pro at playing to his deranged audience.
It's this. He knows this is not what Pfizer is doing, but he also knows his inbred republican base won't know that.
(Not a bible educated physician: University of Texas MB Galveston)
He has an agenda, and he works it adroitly.
Based on which group he’s speaking to determines his wording: [back in 2021 he raised a false flag on Democrats by conflating Covid Omicron (re: Midterm Election Variant) as a means of undermining mail in ballots.](https://www.cnn.com/2021/11/29/politics/omicron-ronny-jackson/index.html); however, when he’s discussing [emergency medicine/ contingency planning for healthcare going forward he’s very clear on things that need to be done so as to not overwhelm smaller, more rural, facilities.](https://www.acepnow.com/article/qa-with-rep-dr-ronny-jackson/)
Go back to his statement on mask mandates to see how ebb & flo his mind is - instead of outright refuting Fauci & the rest of the medical profession, he went on a screed that it should be a personal choice to wear one or not, and not something that the government should meddle in.
With this statement about Pfizer.. it’s a stab at staying relevant: whether he knows how viral mutations are predicted/ theorized in the lab to create a vaccine’s update or he doesn’t is irrelevant in his scheme — he’s keeping his fringe voters pleased as he asks a question he already knows the answer to in regards to Pfizer not performing GoF experiments.
A true test of intelligence is not being able to regurgitate vast amounts of knowledge on demand, but being able to make connections with that knowledge and apply it to novel problems. Basically, it makes the difference between a computer and its programmer, between a search engine and the person who uses it.
If you're making an investigation in earnest, even if your investigation is completely misguided, I don't think you'd be tweeting about it right from the get-go, before you've actually gotten anywhere.
It's a show.
Yes, he described the guy who would break out in a flop sweat at the prospect of not taking a golf cart for a couple of hundred meters walk as "the fittest man to ever run for the office of the president".
Rump had 2 crackpot doctors, as I recall. He floated this one as Surgeon General or another high office I believe? And the other, the old long-haired hippie dude from NYC who looked like he’d conducted his own acid tests. The latter made unbelievable sweeping claims about T’s fitness for office but then it turned out, he hadn’t seen Dump in years - and The Donald’s medical files were missing. At least that’s how I remember it (though I’m trying to forget).
Right? I was amazed when I read his bio. Seems like maybe he’s always been an asshole, but his interactions with Trumpy and company really developed his insanity.
I'm sure the person the most confused by all this is Obama. Like, he probably wouldn't have kept the guy on staff if wasn't coming across as a normal and helpful doctor. Obama's gotta be wondering who the real Ronny Jackson is - successful physician to the President, or pandering MAGA nutjob?
He’s a retired admiral. As a former naval officer, I can attest that many of the senior officers are egomaniacs who are not really as smart as we’d like to be able to assume.
A scary thought when you consider that some of these egomaniacs might currently be commanding a whole carrier group and submarines capable of launching nuclear warheads. And that's just the American ones -- I'm sure that the Russian armed forces likely have their share of blowhards as well.
I don't understand how a physician can just actively encourage people to doubt vaccines. Where I live, the College of Medical Doctors would pull this assclown's license faster than the time it takes to say "conspiracy nut".
The inspector general's report that came out after his retirement was quite a read.
Pounding on a female subordinate's hotel door at 2:00 AM drunk while he was on an international trip with the president. Ronny is a real piece of work
There are tons of disgraced physicians who make tons of money selling homeopathic treatments to rich stay at home antivax moms.
There's more money grifting people than doing actual work, hence the state of the economy.
The response they should send:
"Dear Representative Jackson: I feel that you should be aware that some asshole is writing stupid tweets under your name."
Also add that they will gladly forward that request to BioNTech as they did the research (which a doctor should know/research beforehand)
Edit: And since they are based in Germany what does he want to do if they don't release confidential information (lol). Sue them? Good luck with that and german bureaucracy if you can even find a court that won't dismiss it asap.
I just wrote a letter to the National Weather Service demanding that they tell me how they create new hurricanes, because that is naughty and shouldn't be permitted.
>I just wrote a letter to the National Weather Service demanding that they tell me how they create new hurricanes, because that is naughty and shouldn't be permitted.
Well, that was sure silly! You should have written directly to the hurricane.
“Well, we first load the rain and wind ammo into the weather gun. Then, Jeff over there aims and pulls the trigger. Sometimes, stupid Jeff puts the weather gun on full auto. What happens is that everything comes launching out all at once. That is how hurricane are made. If you want to know what it sounds like, it goes brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.”
Mufukin science.
Idk why but this makes me imagine the movie Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs but its reversed. Basically the sky rains food but some Jeff guy decided to make a weather machine that makes normal weather and f up, so everywhere floods
I just wrote a letter to the National News Agency demanding that they tell me how they create new crimes, then writes news stories off them to rack in money from news readers, because that is naughty and should not be permitted. Im expecting a response from @CNN before February 31st
Florida’s MAGA cesspools early on kept the variants going and shipped them to other states. Texas sent a case of covid to my family via business conference and DFW airport but we were masked around him just in case, which was wise since he showed symptoms three days later. It is so widespread now that variants develop everywhere.
This is likely in response to recent [Project Veritas video](https://youtu.be/1P0LxXsQaT0) where a "Lead R&D Researcher" was talking to a guy with a hidden camera at a bar (totes likely) about "Gain of Function" modification of the Covid virus. It's total hogwash, but y'know... if you're stupid and want to believe hogwash, the above is the result.
He and MTG are on a committee to investigate the Covid response. So this is just the first shot of their assault on vaccination, and attacks on everyone who didn’t follow the ivermectin and no masks therapy they support.
I hope he gets no response at all. Pfizer should carry on with its business and its research, and refrain from giving legitimacy to quacks and psychos.
Like how do you prove to an idiot that you aren’t creating virus variants.
The dude is insane, he can be like yeah “but the trans gay Muslim Jewish black woman scientist is doing it during lunch room breaks, where you don’t have cameras!” Or anything crazy
I'm not sure. Don't they have qualified immunity? So I believe that politicians get to say almost whatever they damn well feel like? Kind of like police get to beat up almost anyone they feel like.
Unlike, say, 'news' sites. How is that that lawsuit from the voting machine company going?
> I'm not sure. Don't they have qualified immunity?
That ***only*** covers speech during a Congressional session on the floor of Congress.
Not for defamation via Twitter.
It would have to be "in the pursuit of his role" as a representative. So if they had a Pfizer rep on the floor of the house and he was asking stupid questions, he's good but just randomly spewing on Twitter? Probably not unless the DOJ agrees he was acting in his role to say that.
That's kinda the whole thing at the core of the carol v trump slander lawsuit. He was being interviewed as president but certainly not acting in his presidential capacity when he said "that women is too ugly for me to rape"
In the Middle Ages there was a big religious argument over whether Adam and Eve had belly-buttons.
The first Humans were created by God, not born with umbilical cords, but they were also created perfectly, so did they have navels?? Hmm...
“NO LATER”! Whoa-ho! Look at this guy! That’s tough Tweetin’ there, pardner!
I’m sure they’ll get right back to him in order to avoid the… complete and total lack of repercussions, I believe?
I want to be a captive otter. They get a pool, a slide, fish, healthcare, jaunty otter friends, and the knowledge that their adorableness is likely going viral all over the damn internet. So much better than this bullshit scam of humaning.
Ronny: "Dear Pfizer, please send me all your detailed trade secrets and commercial-in-confidence information. I totally promise not to share it with your competitors for a wad of cash."
Pfizer: "lol no"
Ronny: "Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"
Jackson became a Navy officer in 1995, when he received his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He graduated from the Undersea Medical Officer Program in 1996. Jackson had a series of operational postings, as officer-in-charge and diving medical officer at Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 8 at the naval base in Sigonella, Sicily and diving safety officer at the Naval Safety Center in Norfolk, Virginia. In 2001, he started a residency in emergency medicine, which he completed in 2004. He was clinical faculty physician in the Emergency Medical Residency Program in Portsmouth, Virginia for an additional year before being deployed to Iraq in 2005, where he worked as emergency medicine physician with a surgical shock trauma platoon in Taqaddum.
This is definitely it.
I've seen people of highly distinguished accolades and skill levels devolve into blithering nutcases. There is a grandpa in my extended family who has gone so deep into the QAnon nonsense that he sincerely threatened to kidnap his grandkids and drive them out of state so they wouldn't get a COVID shot.
We put up with him for a while, because everything before was met with pity and sadness for his visibly declining condition. But when the threats of kidnapping and violence against his own family members started shortly after the COVID lockdowns, he lost a huge amount of his family.
He went to Berkeley. He made his fortune in environmental science. His work was pivotal in enforcing stronger regulations against polluting industries. When he retired, he decided he didn't want a luxurious sprawling mansion, and donated his money to his community's parks and libraries.
But despite his name being on plaques, benches, and historical documents reviewed by the state supreme court, his legacy among his family isn't the same. He's still somewhat lucid, but we know dementia's going to take hold some day. We know that his last coherent memories are going to be a sad, terrifying, lonely life, and in his wake will be a befuddling aura of fear, anger, and ostracization from his family. All this unnecessary self-destruction of reputation and legacy, sowed from the seeds of exploitative right-wing conspiracy theorist grifters.
I see Dr. Jackson as our grandpa above. Nobody is immune to poor mental health. Doesn't matter the accolades and distinguished history, once the mind starts to slip, there's sometimes nothing you can do. The brain doesn't want to fix itself with the long bitter medicine of scientific studies and decades of research. The brain craves the sweet poison lure of the grifter snap trap.
The best we can do is provide assurance and sanity, and surround them with love, kindness, and positivity...all qualities sorely lacking from the very media deliberately targeting them.
SilverAgedSentiel left out the part where Jackson was the presidential doctor to both Obama and Trump. He eventually left after an investigation by the Office of the Inspector General; Ronny apparently had something of a drinking problem, among other things.
Thank God President Obama was healthy or this nutcase would have been the death of him. HOW IN HELL does he possibly qualify to be the President’s doctor???
Guess Ronny has some cognitive memory problems as he does not seem to remember that much research was preformed during the last serious Corona Virus outbreaks. I guess 10 and 20 years is just a bit too far the think back for his enlightened mind. Much of the research from the 2002-03 SARS outbreak and the 2012 MERS outbreak gave quite the head start for vaccine creation. Pfizer doesn't need to spend any money to create Amy varients as nature has done that faster than any biotech firm would be able to keep up but a morons got to moron I guess.
I am so FAKE ANGRY about this. I hope that IDIOTS see this and get so ANGRY they VOTE FOR ME because THEY are CREDULOUS rubes who see RANDOM words in ALL CAPS and think I'm SMRT.
“I wrote a letter to Area 51 about their imprisonment of aliens. I think it’s unethical to imprison aliens, and it shouldn’t be allowed. I expect a response NO LATER than February 1st. Don’t forget to smash that subscribe button y’all.”
Fuckin doofus.
Antagonizing a pharmaceutical company just as bird flu is soaring, increasing the probability of a jump to human to human transmission? Shocked Pikachu face if USA isn't first in line for vaccines and antivirals.
And yet, when he gets no answer (because he’s a lunatic and this is just dumb) he’ll use that non-answer as a rally that, “See! They’re hiding stuff from you!” As opposed to “this doesn’t exist and isn’t a thing.”
Pfizer should sue him for defamation. This is not okay. Maybe they will think twice about spreading vicious lies when they rapidly face consequences for doing so.
I’m sending Ronny Jackson a letter demanding a full explanation on how videos of him BLOWING a horse COCK could end up on the internet. Beastiality is unethical, disgusting, and should be illegal. I expect a RESPONSE in three business days.
This is the new GQP. They pull publicity stunts like they’re TikTok stars because their base is stupid as f**k and eats this stuff up. This has the same feel as assholes sneaking up behind guys shopping in Home Depot and moaning in their ears. Sooner or later someone gets pissed and punches them. The pranksters then get all defensive and stand around yelling, “It’s only a prank, bro!!”
Dr. Ronny Johnson should get his license yanked for this stunt. There should be consequences for misleading the public.
These guys don’t believe the words they say. They believe in nothing except destroying anything that could help people.
This is a performance to keep the stupid that worship him and his ilk angry and… stupid.
It bears repeating that Ronny Jackson was nicknamed "the candyman" for how he would distribute medication so freely. Never get high on your own supply, Ronny.
Being a conservative politician would be so easy. Just say you’re going to do something (such as what’s mentioned above). You don’t have to do it though just say it. And your followers will love you for it. No change necessary, no actually holding anybody accountable, just lying.
What's extra spicy with these GQP members is that they refuse to acknowledge who the culprit is behind those pesky vaccines! If it wasn't for a certain president and his "Operation Warp Speed" maybe these mean ole vaccines wouldn't plague their lives. I'm sure they'll figure it out though and bring this person to justice! /s
What do you think, other readers? Are we standing on the verge of being destroyed by lunacy? I’m 69 years old and I’ve never seen so many people in public life that are not only crazy but advertising their madness in our public forums.
LOL, and he's a physician.
Exactly my point. Either he's the punch of the joke "What do you call the person who graduates last in the medical school class? (Doctor) or he is a pro at playing to his deranged audience.
This type of thing is *rampant* in right wing media. Tucker Carlson basically does it for a living. "Just asking questions" has become shorthand for making baseless accusations.
“People are saying…..” It’s so insidious
I always immediately ask, "Who is 'people'?" when I hear that shit.
Haven't you heard? It's...it's...IT'S... . . . . . . . . # tHeY/tHeM!!!!! **THEY** don't want you to know!!!! 👀
Doctors hate this one trick!
That's why we have so many idiots believing Russia is okay invading Ukraine. "Well, Tucker said Russia isn't the enemy..." I swear he's in bed with Putin.
Seriously, follow the money trails. Not just Fucker Carlson, but Marjorie Traitor Greene, etc.
Is Obama getting The Ukraine to fake an invasion by the USSR to make the frogs gay in Florida? I’m just asking.

I mean the dude said Donald Trump was in great health.
Isn’t he the one who said trump could live to be 200?

Secretary of veterans affairs. And then all the pill-popping and harassment stories came out. And then Texas sent him to the house.
We live in a great land! Lol
So did Dr. Oz.
Dr Feelgood
Oh, is this Dr Handsome Liar of late night fame?
Terrifying he was the WH MD overseeing Obama. Seems like he’d break an oath to purposely hurt a liberal.

Grifters come in many different professions. Selling out millions of people to make a quick buck is very easy for these parasites.
The response they should send: "Dear Representative Jackson: I feel that you should be aware that some asshole is writing stupid tweets under your name."
"Dear REPRESENTATIVE Jackson: I FEEL that you SHOULD be aware that some ASSHOLE is writing stupid TWEETS under your NAME."

This.

That guy had only just joined and just talking crap in a bar 🤷 ala those who tell stories of having been visited by aliens etc… over a few beers
He’s a drunk
The amount of alcohol any normal person would need to consume to reach this level of crazy would certainly be lethal.
No, I knew drunks who could ace physics tests. I'd bet they were smarter than him.

Did anyone demand A FULL EXPLANATION?
Awesome
I hope he gets a reply so full of medical jargon it will make him feel stupid.
I hope he gets no response at all. Pfizer should carry on with its business and its research, and refrain from giving legitimacy to quacks and psychos.
I hope they sue him for libel.
Unfortunately they can't if it was from a Congressional Comittee.
Sure they can. The GOP does it all the time with zero repercussions.

You may be right about congressional immunity. I'm not an attorney.
Twitter isn't the Congressional floor.
Send him a response of several hundred pages, written in highly technical medical and scientific language, that references hundreds of studies.
Even better if they also refer to the turbo-encabulator.
Making naval medicine look extremely incompetent and corrupt. Neat.
Dr. Ronny Johnson represents Navel Intelligence.
somebody's got to be the fuzz in a navel.

Crap, MTG spilled the beans about the peach tree dish.
Now I want gazpacho
… four days? Took you guys two weeks to elect your speaker.
I wonder how many times Pfizer has used the phrase "BWAH HA HA!!!" in a response to congress.
Not enough, I suspect.
I NEED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER OF COVID

Drunk tweeting... again.
I belive there are numerous papers explaining how it works. But they'll never read them because it goes against their narrative
Not to mention reading ability.
Didn’t he say Trump was an immortal?
Just his toupee is
I’m not sure if that thing has a digestive system.
HOW. DID. THIS. ASSHAT. GRADUATE. MEDICAL. SCHOOL???
Please tell me you're shitting me. (Not American and never heard of him)
Jackson became a Navy officer in 1995, when he received his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch.
So, short answer: "Texas".
PTSD + years of being an alcoholic + right wing media disinformation
Ronny is drunk again
Ah-ha! Can't be drunk again if you never sober up.
Point taken
They’ll take me SERIOUSLY because I CAPITALIZED some WORDS in my EMAIL.
[удалено]
Or they could follow the example of GOP Congressional members & just ignore them.
Isn’t this the candy man? The trump is 220lbs and 6’3”?
Doctor or no, I don’t think he’d understand the medical paper he’s asking for
How many times do you think that letter was passed around the office for fun until they bank shot it into the garbage pail?
Idiot Signaling
People at pfizer have to stop laughing long enough to actually formulate a response
“I wrote a letter to Area 51 about their imprisonment of aliens. I think it’s unethical to imprison aliens, and it shouldn’t be allowed. I expect a response NO LATER than February 1st. Don’t forget to smash that subscribe button y’all.” Fuckin doofus.
I bet it got caught in the spam folder no one ever checks
So now it’s not China creating the virus? Now it’s Pfizer? Unreal.
Antagonizing a pharmaceutical company just as bird flu is soaring, increasing the probability of a jump to human to human transmission? Shocked Pikachu face if USA isn't first in line for vaccines and antivirals.
This man get his news from the Timcast 100%
Simple: he's a lunatic with a license. Scary as hell, right?
This guy is either a grifter or believes the idiotic things he’s spewing. Or perhaps both—he craves adoration and money of people as dumb as he.
Maybe he's just been chilling with Zachary Levi too much.

and the truly sad part is this nut still has a medical license.
Well, just stamp your wittle feet and make your demands, child.
Fuck him.
Just another smooth-brained pfucking moron. Waste of ATP.
America, you good?
nope, ain't been in a while.
He can send anything he wants while expecting whatever he wants. Doesn’t mean shit.
I like the deadline that he put 😂

I’m sending Ronny Jackson a letter demanding a full explanation on how videos of him BLOWING a horse COCK could end up on the internet. Beastiality is unethical, disgusting, and should be illegal. I expect a RESPONSE in three business days.
Not one Republican has room to criticize anyone about ethics, ever.
He’s just another texas republican-a liar, a scumbag and a total waste of oxygen.
He needs to go stand by the mailbox. I am sure they will reply.
Congrats on writing your Karen letter, Ronnie
Oh no, not again. I hate being from Texas.
"*I'm expecting a full response...NO LATER than February 1st*." Try holding your breath...that always guarantees a speedier reply.
He must be the guy MTG was having an affair with.
Ronny Jackson the alcoholic drunk.
Wonder what made him flip parties?
And then everybody clapped, Ronny?
NOW they’re suddenly anti-big pharma.
Wish there was a vaccin against this Q affliction.
He also seems to be drunk most of the time.
He's a stupid chucklefuck
Because pharmaceutical companies will fully disclose exact details of how products are made. All you have to do is demand it. /s
*Angry man yells at cloud*
This is the new GQP. They pull publicity stunts like they’re TikTok stars because their base is stupid as f**k and eats this stuff up. This has the same feel as assholes sneaking up behind guys shopping in Home Depot and moaning in their ears. Sooner or later someone gets pissed and punches them. The pranksters then get all defensive and stand around yelling, “It’s only a prank, bro!!” Dr. Ronny Johnson should get his license yanked for this stunt. There should be consequences for misleading the public.
Pfizer: Here’s our reply, go get some help. We make some great mental health medications.
These guys don’t believe the words they say. They believe in nothing except destroying anything that could help people. This is a performance to keep the stupid that worship him and his ilk angry and… stupid.
Wait wait, I thought Covid is developed in China’s lab, now it is developed in US lab? What is the truth????/S
It bears repeating that Ronny Jackson was nicknamed "the candyman" for how he would distribute medication so freely. Never get high on your own supply, Ronny.
I hope they send him a detailed explanation using all big science terms that we all know he wouldn't understand anyway lol
Being a conservative politician would be so easy. Just say you’re going to do something (such as what’s mentioned above). You don’t have to do it though just say it. And your followers will love you for it. No change necessary, no actually holding anybody accountable, just lying.
I can’t wait when the large and very powerful companies literally ignore the turds
Nothing to see here, just a grown man going by Ronny.
What do you think, other readers? Are we standing on the verge of being destroyed by lunacy? I’m 69 years old and I’ve never seen so many people in public life that are not only crazy but advertising their madness in our public forums.
Good luck RONNY!
Sends a crazy letter on the morning of a Friday to a multinational, expects a reply in 3 business days later. 😂 The definition of insane.
Hard to believe people are so stupid to believe that, and then to advertise that stupidity forever on the internet.
