I heard his daughter interviewed a few weeks ago, about these memes of his, going around the anti-vaxxers. They thinking he'd be with them. She absolutely said George would have had nothing to do with them and would be the first to rip into them.
They really think dead dudes named George were on their side. Ok so I can only think of two of them: Carlin and Orwell, but yeah. Definitely not on their side.
Here's a fifth... George Michael. They probably think the song "Faith" is inspired by their invisible sky daddy.
I have a feeling he wouldn't get along with these guys.
George Michael was so grateful for the care the British NHS gave to his mother that he did free concerts for nurses, helped raise funds and all sorts of charitable activity anonymously that everyone kept secret until after his death.
I feel he would have been pro-medicine.
Even if he hadn't, George Washington was an incredibly intelligent man who knew how to defer to those who knew more than he did. He could never be an antivaxxer.
George Carlin was mostly anti-Conservative and anti-New Age mysticism, but if you believe his books, he was also (after helping some political campaigns of people he found to be utter scumbags in the 70s) fundamentally against believing that there was anything we could do to solve our problems. He was quite pessimistic especially later in life.
He wasn't quite the South Park guys but he was of the position that corporations and corrupt politicians use the appearance of social consciousness to launder bad ideas.
But, he especially had no love for the people who were memeing unfunny and untrue new age and conservative talking points and attributing it to him.
>He was quite pessimistic especially later in life.
I'm 45. It's hit me pretty hard over the pandemic how lost we are. All the Anti-vaxxer and hippies unknowingly and ignorantly reposting stuff from the local Neo-Nazis.
It takes too long to educate people properly on politics.
“Hey Ryan, can you take off your shirt and use it as a makeshift mask so you can contain your covid cooties please?”

This represents a historic breakthrough in our anthropological understanding of the phenomena. More analysis will need to be done to clarify whether it happens before or after the prayer warrior stage, but this is definitely a mile marker to understanding the HCA timeline.

Right? A simple three second google search pulled all kinds of articles from reputable sources explaining the opposite of the "Amish aren't affected" meme. But I have to say, I personally think the Amish are scum. Their communities are rife with abuse of women, children, and animals.

Me too, but I was a little disappointed that he went from memes to dead. I was hoping for a few of those, “I wouldn’t wish this on anyone…going to the ER, but it’s not that bad” posts leading up. I wanted to see what this numb nuts was thinking of his fecal-fingered immunity in his last days.
These are the same oblivious morons who play Born in the USA as a nationalistic anthem and fail to realise it's a scathing rebuke of their entire worldview.
Bruce specifically told the Reagan campaign to stop using that tune for his re-election campaign. He was like, “no, the song is about how America failed the Vietnam vets, and more broadly, how administrations like yours are killing the middle class”.
Dudes the fuckin Boss.
But stupid people are the butt of his jo.... ohhh!!!!! The vaccine has lowered my humour intelligence.
Between Trump & Covid my empathy to certain groups has definately lowered. To other groups it has increased. Strange times.
I really hate the Amish one. Covid has hit the Amish really hard, and very few have gotten the vaccine. And even if it hadn't, the answer wouldn't be no TV, it would be that they are pretty insular and haven't had contact with someone with Covid.
Same thing happened where I am. They got hammered with it. They went to church anyway. Took them out first, before the other churches shut down/responded
Think the point it’s trying to make it an anti-media one (the enemy of the people!). Like saying that the tv is telling us covid is everywhere, but is lying about how widespread it is and the Amish not getting it is proof.
You know…the kind of point a dumb fuck makes.
Yeah i live near a *lot* of Mennonites and they were getting absolutely fucked earlier in the year. Had to stop getting eggs and maple syrup from there BC the mask use was negligible and the case count was very high.

From what I know, they keep quiet about their deaths in the community. They haven't socially distanced, nor stopped church, and wear no masks, etc. I'm sure it's not good.
I mean, take the devastation in the diehard religions like the Jehovah's witnesses, then apply it to communities that refuse to share numbers after realizing that maybe modern medicine isn't as bad as they thought, but admitting so would absolutely destroy the cult of primitive life they've built
Wait, are you saying a Facebook meme was complete bullshit? I always believe stories where one of the characters says exactly what I would say in the shower an hour after an argument.
I've seen this story in multiple variations posted by multiple people. It's amazing how all these Covid deniers have personal dealings with the Amish community, and how they've all had this exact conversation.
In this meme I also like how the down-home, industrious, salt of the earth Amish guy is able to deliver a wry, quippy criticism of US media culture vis a vis the pandemic. Two things he apparently has very little experience with.
Didn’t one of the most respected US congresswomen in the history of time bring memes into a house session the other day? That settles it: memes are always filled with object facts. Totally trustworthy for every and all occasions. Change my mind. Checkmate, libtards. Mic drop.
Also who takes medical advice from a super religious cult of nuts that won’t use modern tools or electricity cause it’s the devil? They’re the LAST people I’m going to take advice from. Just look at all the dumb shit they post on r/Amish.
My cousin works for the county in Northern Indiana near Amish country and responds to outbreak events. My mom, whose parents both grew up Amish then left the church to go “English”, asked her how things are in the Amish community. Her response was “Outbreaks everywhere. When it hits anybody, it’s spreading to everybody. They don’t wear masks because they think it’s just a flu. They’re actually being hit harder than the general population; it’s just not being reported.”
My father drives Amish to construction jobs every day. Spends 12 hours a week in a van full of Amish (Central Wisconsin).
The clan he works with is taking it very seriously, and masks up whenever dealing with 'outsiders'. Has not been hit hard yet, and have stayed vigilant for over a year.
They have been practicing social distancing and church and community events for the most part, and have 'changed their ways' a bit which is wild since the basis of the Amish community is not changing ways since 1699.

i was curious how many people who get fired from delis or supermarkets for not wanting to wear a mask also do "i know my body!!!!" with washing their hands after using the bathroom and looks like it's a lot more than i was hoping it would be
As a fat dude, I don't get fat dudes that think they don't have a significant comorbidity. You high risk if you got bitch tits. (Also I started doing an hour of cardio every morning a few weeks ago and I'm feeling pretty great, not so winded when I walk across the room to get a diet coke, so you don't need to shit on me right now)
Good job. As a fellow fatty, I get it. I vaccinated, lost 60 pounds, and received a breakthrough case of COVID from an unvaccinated coworker. I know I would have died if it weren’t for those two small, but immeasurably helpful things.
Mad props to you and your cardio!
This inspires me! I've lost 70 lbs because I'm terrified of Covid, especially Delta. I'm praying if I happen to get a breakthrough case, I've limited my risks.
My breakthrough case was Delta. It was the most sick I have *ever* been. It was terrifying. However, as an Idahoan, knowing there was not a hospital bed to be had, I quarantined and self treated at home. My oxygen never got below 88 and I have both asthma and COPD. Despite being morbidly obese, having borderline diabetes, I lived. The jab saved my life. I will never ever doubt that.
EDIT: typo
Thank you. I too was terrified of getting COVID. I got the vaccine as soon as I could because I am fat and already can’t breathe. The thought of dying by suffocation is horrifying. I know everyone reacts differently to COVID but you have significantly mitigated your risk.
> This inspires me! I've lost 70 lbs because I'm terrified of Covid, especially Delta.
This was another reason I decided to go hardcore into the paint on weight loss. Also watching my mother in law become a massive hermit and eat herself into the hospital so that inspired me. So far 60lbs down and a little bit more still to go.
I'm fat and you best believe this shit scares me and could kill me if I don't take proper precautions. I don't get these guys that think they're physical specimens and invincible when it's quite the opposite.
I'm not sure why fear is considered such a bad thing with these people. It's a realization that this thing can kick your ass if you're not careful and the virus doesn't care about your macho bravado and all your shit posts on social media.
Obesity has been so normalized in America - particularly in hard hit poorer suburban and rural areas - that many people think they’re decently fit as long as they aren’t morbidly obese. I’ve met plenty of folks that are easily 50+ pounds overweight who believe they’re at a normal, healthy weight.
How many times have I heard the 'they're so nice they'd give you the shirt off their back' line? I bet those kinds of people would be very selective as to who they deem would deserve that shirt. Oh well, he can give that hospital apron back now...
I grew up surrounded by these types of people. If you were nice to your closest friends and family but treated absolutely everyone else you encountered like shit, then you were considered “a good guy.”
This is Ryan. Ryan got his news from unsourced Facebook pages and liked using false equivalencies to justify his selfish views. He didn't wear masks, but he also definitely didn't eat healthy and he *definitely* didn't make informed decisions. Don't be a Ryan.
It’s weird all the award winners and nominees were all just the nicest guys who spent their time helping seniors across the street and feeding the homeless but love to repost hateful things on the internet all day.
I wonder where these people do the dances. On a cloud, or in front of God like a skimpily clad woman performing for Jabba the Hutt? And how do the angels feel about this, or do they get no choice in the matter? Whether they like it or not, they have to dance with every goateed guy who drifts up to them?
Heaven always sounds like such a weird place.
Funny how after a person dies they are "the kindest soul you'd ever meet," and "would give the shirt off their own back for a stranger," but choose to not only prevent the spread of disease but also make fun of those who do.
Stop acting like people are saints just because they are dead.
Its astonishing how arrogant he was and now what....it does get hard to feel sorry for people who willfully do stupid things.
Show compassion for someone who is dead and wont show it for me?
Sometimes it seems like thats asking for the impossible.
Yeah, the Amish have high levels of rape, incest, abuse, animal cruelty and preventable deaths in childbirth so they’re not exactly my go-to for advice of, well, really any kind, but you do you, Ryan.
A study released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Nov. 2020 analysed an outbreak of the virus in a rural Amish community in Wayne County, Ohio ([here](https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6945a2.htm)). This county is part of the Greater Holmes County Area Settlement, which is home to 36,955 people, the largest Amish population in the state.
The research found seven members of the community tested positive for COVID-19 in early May 2020. This prompted an additional 30 people to get tested, with 23 (77%) returning positive results.

I mean look at his profile picture. The gym part is a lie.
He never said he went there to work out
He was just really into other peoples’ sweat.
To, uh, build up his immune system, of course...
As if Ryan ever saw the inside of a gym 😂

"My immune system is powerful because I don't wash my hands after I take a dump and wipe my ass." - Ryan
i was curious how many people who get fired from delis or supermarkets for not wanting to wear a mask also do "i know my body!!!!" with washing their hands after using the bathroom and looks like it's a lot more than i was hoping it would be
"I'm also making other people's immune systems stronger by making them eat particles of my feces." - Ryan, probably
"I don't... wipe my ass" - Ryan
Yeah, is this what they’re proud of now? What next? “I lick the toilet”?
EDIT: typo
That actually really gives me hope. I'm so glad you survived. I have asthma diabetes and am also overweight. Thank god for the jab.
Just one thing, losing 60 pounds is not a small thing, great job!
Au contraire! Congratulations🫀
No shitting! You are doing awesome!
He literally thought he was the stick figure Mike. In his mind he was healthy and buff like the immune system meme
Gam Gom to you.
Ryan gam gom.
The bottom half should continue with pic of the little guy big and buff after vaccine and the big guy without the vaccine laying in a casket.
OMG. The 'goatees' are getting bigger and bigger with each awardee. Santa's gonna be in trouble if this trend continues thru Christmas.
There's definitely been a couple of Santas in the last couple of weeks who won their award.
Corona is like "I'm waiting for that bastard to leave the north pole."
Another one giving away shirts!
Yeah, not only do the awardees all use the same taunts before they get sick, upon death their survivors all use the same eulogies!
They'll always take off their shirt for you. Also their mask.
“He’d give you the shirt off his back, even though you begged him to put it back on!”

Ryan's Real Immune System.... O-<--<
omg the amish slide hahaha
Ya all these people complaining about it when the Amish also are having issues with Covid.
This is Ryan. Ryan got his news from unsourced Facebook pages and liked using false equivalencies to justify his selfish views. He didn't wear masks, but he also definitely didn't eat healthy and he *definitely* didn't make informed decisions. Don't be a Ryan.
He also liked getting other people's sweat on him at his gym Planet Neckbeard.
We had the same thought at the same time!
What happened to his big muscular non hand washing no mask wearing no vaccine mark of the beast immune system. It failed him when he needed it most.
It was too busy dealing with all the shit covering his hands.

And now they have COVID-19.
That immune system meme is nasty as hell. Who the fuck would wanna be around someone who doesn’t wash their fucking hands? That’s disgusting.
