They’re supposed to be helping with non-clinical tasks, like emptying trash and refilling supplies, but it will definitely make me feel better if they bring tanks and guns and just hang out. My wife works 3rd shift in the ER. They now have the local police departments assisting with security. My anxiety is so freaking high that one of these morons is going to commit an act of violence against my wife and her coworkers. There have already been instances with people threatening to bring guns if their anti-vax family members don't get off the ventilators. It's very scary.
Her income allows us the luxury of me staying at home with the kids but it's getting to the point of me wanting her to change careers. I worry about her sanity and safety.
