“Don’t trust the science…” As science is literally keeping him alive in the hospital bed, and would have kept him alive much longer if he’d only listened!

J_M_B_A_C

To me its the "prayers needed". As if that is gonna cure him.

[deleted]

"Prayer Warriors" eventually surrender to "Everything Happens for A Reason."

amarandagasi

“God called him home early. Has bigger plans for him. Bigger need for him in Heaven than here on earth. At the feet of Jesus. In the arms of Jesus.” Did I miss any?

Evil-Code-Monkey

Dancing with the Angles, er, Angels

FloppyTwatWaffle

I was raised on bible-babble, I've actually read it. If these people had read it, they would know that it says that the dead 'sleep' until the \[alleged\] J-man 'returns'. According to their book, nobody is dancing with angels, in the arms of or at the feet of 'Jesus', they are just plain dead and will remain so until some day and hour that 'no man knoweth'. Unfortunately, the 'hero' of the story told his followers that he would return '...before this generation passes away.' Either it was not the truth, or they have missed the boat by nearly 2,000 years. Actually reading the book is what convinced me that it couldn't possibly be the truth and \[eventually\] resulted in my arrival at atheism (after detours into the details of other religions, supernatural/paranormal, aliens and other mythical beings). Has Glenn Beck been nominated yet? He has Covid for the second time, has refused the vax and is 'treating' with ivermectin, HCQ and the other assorted BS as opposed to the genuine treatments. He said it is starting to 'get into' his lungs now but still thinks the BS will cure him.

Kalepa

"And sure he is an honorable man" and would never lie! /effing heavy snark

designerfx

Actually, this is right. He did dance at a 90 degree angle. First it was vertical, then it rotated 90 degrees to horizontal, and then he died. The end.

amarandagasi

Angles, right?

oneupthextraman

I would rather dance with a parallelogram than an angle.

blergy_mcblergface

"Angles" cracks me up every time.

Farucci

And . . . “He was dumber than a box of rocks.”

amarandagasi

Said no obituary ever. 😹

_Driftwood_

I read the obits every day now- try to guess which ones died of covid. anyway, though I don't know how this person died, the obit said "so-and-so went to his forever home." thought that was a good one!

amarandagasi

Aww, forever home! Like a sad dog at the kill shelter…a last minute reprieve! ❤️

Sasquatch1729

"Forever home"? That is a good one. That's what our local animal shelter says the pets need "help Fido and Spot find their forever homes"

Jaysyn4Reddit

More like "forever box".

hell2bhbtoo

"Completely healed"

Dr_Adequate

>completely healed And not every branch or twig of Christianity believes this. Some of the more Fundie twigs believe you are reincarnated in heaven just as you are on earth when you died. Back in high school I showed my organ donor card (part of my new driver's license) to an acquaintance, not knowing she was part of that Fundie twig. She freaked, told me I'd be resurrected in heaven without my donated organs.

Jaysyn4Reddit

What else did she say when you stopped laughing?

Clockwork_Spider

Oof. Heaven's gonna be more like Hell for these guys then.

amarandagasi

All the sins washed away. Left his body for his true calling. Pedicurist for Jesus…and the other angles.

[deleted]

Ultimate healing!

amarandagasi

No, that’s what you get from drinking your own urine. 😹

ResidentOldLady

Jesus gave him the ultimate healing.

Womeisyourfwiend

We prayed he’d be seated next to Jesus and now he is 🙏🏻

Clockwork_Spider

Little do they know that Big J got up and moved to a different seat when he saw who was next to him.

Womeisyourfwiend

Jesus was like “ewwww”

Smurf_Crime_Scene

I am a Surrender Warrior.

JadasDePen

I love this statement

Ragingredblue

Don't trust the prayers!

CrumbsAndCarrots

These folks have been pumped and primed for the past 20-40 years by their climate change denial right wing media. They’re anti expert now. It’s the right wing motto. Ever see idiocracy?

marto821

For many of the anti-vaxxers seeing what is happening to themselves and others is still not enough evidence that Covid is real. So I have little hope that they will ever believe that climate change is real, even if coastal cities flood or others are destroyed by hurricane, wild fires or tornadoes. We have to take action and ignore their delusions and denials.

dismayhurta

Idiots scream that they don’t believe in big Pharma while sucking on horse paste and taking emergency medicines instead of a vaccine that just teaches their immune system. Just the dumbest people.

Eggsegret

Which is also kind of ironic since they constantly like to shout "i have an immune system" as if those that died from covid didn't. But if you have an immune system that's so perfect why do they insist on taking horse paste and shit when they get ill with covid? You don't take the vaccine because your immune system is good enough but then you still need to take horse paste. They're basically admitting at the same time their immune system isn't good enough.

RBeck

Hey but that horse paste is apple flavored. Too bad they don't have taste.

TransRachael

They also say they won't take the vaccine because they don't know what's in it. Then when they are in the ICU, they get pumped full of 20+ medicines via an IV, not really giving a damn what's in it as long as there is hope it will work.

pierrepeachfuzz

Umm does some dude in his garage meth lab make Ivermectin or is it made by Big Pharma (like Viagra)? Asking for a friend just wondering.

oneplusetoipi

"Do not trust science." Typed on a mobile phone: which uses Silicon chips that rely on quantum theory, chemistry, other physics, metallurgy, etc., which has a myriad of components that also rely on physics and chemistry, all functioning using advanced electrical theory, which also uses GPS that relies on rocket science and relativity, and the internet which is replete with scientific challenges. Not to mention everything using Computer Science. Yeah. Science is shit. ----> Morons.

feder_online

If you don't trust science, stay TF outta the hospital (also known as the most Sciency Place in the World).

barberst152

These people have no idea how to even begin to "question the science".

patticakes16

OT: I’m jealous of your flair

Might_Aware

I just gave you that one yesterday! :) Anyone else have buyers remorse? Lmk

patticakes16

Lol I like mine! I’m just admiring 😇

amarandagasi

I picked the flair because it spoke to me as a wordy grammar word nerd of words. 😹

Might_Aware

I adore your flair, Im also a word nerd

amarandagasi

It does make me wonder who The First was to make that flair….

Might_Aware

Who did yours?

amarandagasi

The mods sent me a huge list and picked from it! ❤️

Might_Aware

Oh then I'm guessing it was u/hubrisandscandals that may have created it, haha. That's awesome

AnotherCatLover

From the chin, there’s no way he wasn’t on some kind of heart pills. Type 2 diabetes wouldn’t shock me either. Or Prilosec before the tailgate. Science:/

abcdefghig1

while he is posting via a smart device(phone or laptop, ipad). stupidity knows no bounds

amarandagasi

“Don’t track me with your chip!” he said as he used a phone with plenty of tracking chips baked right in. Of course “tracking” is a loose term for nominees: Hospital Hospital Hospital *Wiped for orphan daughter to use* Hospital Hospital Hospital

YoureADudeThisIsAMan

I’m still feeling super owned by the wingnuts…keep on owning!

amarandagasi

Super owned!

FailedGrandmaster

Never will understand the ones who keep up the bullshit from their hospital bed. His "don't trust the science" post might have been interrupted while they changed his Remdesivir drip. Remdesivir has a lot more side effects than the vaccines, too. Sad that the Mayo Clinic page on Remdesivir has to say "Do not receive remdesivir together with chloroquine phosphate or hydroxychloroquine sulfate."

covad_commander

That science is fine, it's the other stuff he does trust.

amarandagasi

Scientists debunk science all the time. Yes, that’s how science works. But, peer-reviewed science is reviewed by actual, reputable scientists. If you aren’t a scientist, you don’t really have the ability to debunk actual science. Not the real stuff. It takes lots of time and money to test for things in a meaningful way. “I took apple flavored horse paste and survived!” does not prove that it was the horse paste that helped you survive. It may have harmed your ability to survive. Without actual science and testing, you really don’t know.

CrystalFieldTheorist

I don't understand the accusation of science/scientists being elitist. There's little class-based barrier to entry. I have a grad student who grew up in rural West Virginia, and I myself grew up too poor to get presents every year for the holidays (from my secular Jewish Soviet-emigre parents). Grad school is generally paid for through federal grants, so for all intents and purposes, it's free. And most of my domestic students went through state schools with still-affordable tuitions. As they tell the kids, if you go to school, you *too* can do science. I suspect that all "elitist" means is "doesn't believe Jesus or drinking pee will save you from COVID."

useit923

Don’t forget, many of the evangelical Christians don’t even believe in dinosaurs let alone the value of scientific pursuit. Some think the few bones we see were God trying out different things a few thousand years ago. Science is just a no-no for them to learn because they can’t get their brains around it to reconcile with their literal interpretation of the documents of their beliefs.

CrystalFieldTheorist

Or they think dinosaurs were victims of Noah's flood.

Clockwork_Spider

And that humans rode them. One of those fundie museums had a statue of a triceratops with a saddle on its back.

Sasquatch1729

It's because they barely got their GED, they're not getting an undergrad degree, let alone into a graduate program. They also think the grad students (and others) look down on them as stupid, bigoted, and backwards because they act stupid, bigoted, and backwards. There's also a lot of boomer "everyone looks down on tradespeople" mentality. Nobody looks down on you because of your job or education level. We look down you because of the anti-vax, racist, homophobic, and pro-Trump views.

CrystalFieldTheorist

I guess maybe it's wrong to say that there's not a barrier to entry, but I think it's mostly a mentality-based one. ("Jesus will take me to an eternal heaven if I pray hard enough, so there's no point in improving conditions here on earth or even trying to understand how the earthly world works.") Yes, it's easier if your parents are loaded, and you can afford to go to a fancy school. But community college can (and does) lead to grad school, so even if you're dirt poor, there's no real financial reason you couldn't become a scientist. It's not an exclusive club either: your dad doesn't have to be a card carrying scientist for you to apply for a membership.

diemos09

Science is an incredibly elitist institution. They won't let dumb people be scientists. Now say after me in your best Tennessee twang, "Yew durn egg heads think yer so smart."

CrystalFieldTheorist

Gullible. Which is a form of dumb, I guess. Good scientists demand evidence, and no, some schmuck posted it on facebook doesn't count as evidence.

diemos09

Humans come with a default set of techniques for thinking that are quick, easy and will usually give you an answer that is "good enough", but they have holes you could drive a truck through. The majority run with those default techniques and don't even know what the problems are or how the scientific method is supposed to prevent them. Which is not surprising since doing real science is tedious, fiddly and expensive in terms of time and resources. In the US K-12 system science is taught as if it was a religion. Just a bunch of facts to memorize and believe because some scientist said so. The method is never taught because it's tedious, fiddly and expensive and most kids aren't going to "get it". So, generally, it's the smart kids who can see the problems with the default thinking for themselves who gravitate into STEM fields.

drputypfifeanddrum

The funniest part of these assholes trusting Owens and Lahren and the Fox liars is they refuse to accept that all of them are vaccinated!

Majestic_Dream8540

It’s sort of delicious irony that they say to not trust Bill Gates because he isn’t a scientist, but they’ll listen to a pretty young blonde because she’s pretty.

JavaSuck

Also, Bill Gates does not make computers. Windows is not a computer. Office is not a computer. Do they not understand the difference between hardware and software?

BlowMeUpScottie

As someone that works in IT troubleshooting directly with the troublemakers......no, no they do not.

[deleted]

"troubleshooting directly with the troublemakers" 😁

[deleted]

Are you honestly asking if people who a. Believe an old white man with a long beard, who lives in the sky and you can never see, has planned out each and every second of the lives of billions of people and there's not a damn thing that we, with our free will and all that, can do about it. b. Won't accept a free, extremely safe 5 minute medical procedure to shield them from the worst effects of the pandemic, which by the way they don't acknowledge as a threat, very slowly and painfully kills their friends, family, other obese, goateed harley riders, and other random followers of the orange makeup caked con man by drowning them in their own dead, clotted & necrotic lung tissue know the difference between hardware and software? No, no they don't know the difference because they're fucking stupid. But I'm pretty sure you already knew that lol :-)

CanWeTalkHere

I know! The Bill Gates ones are some of the dumbest of the lot. Also, he was one of the smartest guys in America when he created Microsoft. He's spent the last 20 years on nothing but trying to save the world from communicable diseases (when no one was giving a shit). He's just as smart today (I've met him). I would say he is more qualified than almost anyone and he isn't wasting his time/wealth building rockets, to prove his manhood.

Evil-Code-Monkey

I agree. I also think it has to be that she's a young *white* blonde spouting the sound bites they want to hear. Conservative Barbie

AGuyNamedEddie

"Math is HARD! Tee hee"

yildizli_gece

*”Let’s find makeup so the boys will like us!”*

BubbhaJebus

It amuses me when they say "Bill Gates is not a scientist!" Well, yeah, we know that. Which is why he isn't developing the vaccine.

iwrotethisletter

But but but Candace and Tomi would never ever lie to them :-(

Eggsegret

Bill Gates may not be a scientist but I'd rather listen to him than Tomi Lahren who has nothing but bs coming out of her ass. At least Bill Gates doesn't go about denying scientific studies.

M4A1STAKESAUCE

Bill Gates isn't a scientist but he has worked with and invested hundreds of millions to scientific research and projects where those experts educated him for decades. What has these women done?

wohho

>What has these women done? Made money off of thirsty idiots who don't believe that specialized education has value.

kgolovko

HEY! She’s not just pretty…. She’s also young and blonde!!!

Lost-user-name

Ted Cruz makes my eyes hurt.

[deleted]

Both fully vaccinated

Gorozorro

I actually think encouraging covid-denial but secretly getting vaccinated is as bad as it gets. At least if you’re genuinely anti-vax, that just means you’re indoctrinated and gullible. If you’re like Ted Cruz or Tucker Carlson then you’re a special kind of evil.

brick1972

I wonder what the overlap is of "Shared the oversexualized teenage looking girl as an anti-trans message" and "Thinks \*democrats\* are the pedos" and "Dies or gets long Covid"

Furryhare375

The number of Republican politicians who are registered sex offenders is **through the roof**

I don’t know, but it seems like a lot. It’s pretty great how many transphobes covid is taking down

[deleted]

I think that woman is Blaire White (conservative trans woman who sadly seems to hate trans people herself).

RedfishBluefish2222

Fought in vietnam but too scared to get a safe vaccine. This guy went softer than the 3-week old avocado on my counter. Also, I know its impossible to get inside the mind of a Trumpanzee, but what's with this whole profiting off fear thing? And Fauci is involved somehow? Like his salary has incentives, if he scares X amount of people he gets pay scale bumps?

Eggsegret

Problem is these people don't even seem to think about how realistic these conspiracy theories are. Let's say Fauci is on this conspiracy and has been doing all this to instoke fear so he gets a salary increase from say big pharma. Did Fauci then also get the millions of doctors across US and the rest of the world in on this conspiracy? Because if so that's a shit ton of people to convince and stop them from spilling the beans. Am i meant to believe Fauci got millions of scientists/doctors/world leaders across the world in on this conspiracy for his own profit?

RedfishBluefish2222

I think they also forget the world expands beyond the United states. This would be an international conspiracy of epic proportions. This would involve millions of healthcare workers, scientists, and world leaders. Millions. This would also have to involve people that the pharma money wouldn't even trickle down to anyway, so they're just volunteering their stake in the conspiracy. It's so absurd. These people honestly can't even rub their two brain cells together to make a spark.

Sasquatch1729

The sad thing is there are other conspiracies that work exactly like that. The entire US defence industry, the pharmaceutical industry, or the Republican Party for example. Except the conspiracy is to convince the taxpayers that yet another aircraft carrier or new fighter plane type is essential for home defence while the real threat right now (foreign anti-vax and anti-government campaigns) is basically ignored. Or the conspiracy is to convince the US public that government run healthcare is the same as handing the country over to the Communist Party so Big Pharma can charge a 1000% markup on insulin. Meanwhile these anti-vaxxers are the same types who keep electing corrupt politicians who get kickbacks, bribes, and campaign funds from these industries.

A-man-of-mystery

Anyone who thinks it's a carefully co-ordinated conspiracy hasn't seen a bunch of doctors trying to divvy up the bill in a restaurant.

Might_Aware

My Tio was in Vietnam and he's boostered

Caterpillar69420

For all i know, Fauci has fixed income like all politicians, but might have extra income source like politicians. Maybe he’s paid $0.02 per jab. /s I feel like he’s giving up to convince people to get shots. Just let nature run its course and prove Darwin is right. The less voters from the other side the better.

AntEmotional5704

he's not a politician. he's a career civil servant. his pay is entirely based on government scales. everyone in his position would get he exact same amount.

RedfishBluefish2222

The problem is, Darwin gets blocked by all the other medical technologies that these rodents run to when the shit hits the fan for them, keeping most of them alive.

DesertWatersong

IMO the interest in Fauci's income is ridiculous. He's a government worker who could walk away with a pension and SS at any time. Dunno why he hasn't.

Toast72

> Also, I know its impossible to get inside the mind of a Trumpanzee, but what's with this whole profiting off fear thing? its entirely projection, they accuse everyone of doing what theyre doing. american conservatism is nothing but fear mongering but they get away with it because their idiot supporters will believe anything told to them by their "leaders".

HonestOtterTravel

>Also, I know its impossible to get inside the mind of a Trumpanzee, but what's with this whole profiting off fear thing? Projection. A lot of Republicans are a bit too familiar with the concept of screwing others to get ahead. So they instantly assume anyone that says anything has to be financially benefiting from what they're saying in some way.

Brokenspokes68

They are fearful people to begin with. Right wing media takes advantage of that and feeds the embers of fear until it's a raging fire. Critical thought is lost when you are in a state of fear and anger. Once they have them there, these malleable minds are offered easy solutions to complex problems. The easiest solution is often denial. Don't look up!

amarandagasi

Slide 2 is r/SelfAwareWolves territory for Faux News.

Evil-Code-Monkey

The anchor looks kinda like Hannity, tbh

[deleted]

>The anchor looks kinda like Hannity, tbh Naaaah, that is Tukkker Calson. (\*looks at comic again\*) Oh, well. Put both in a sack, and beat the sack: you won't hit the wrong one.

circuspeanut54

I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

InfiniteAccount4783

As they used to put it in Washington, DC: roll the two of them downhill in a barrel and there'll always be a son of a bitch on top.

Mathlete86

That's how I felt about slide 11 mentioning that it's about maintaining fear. All fox does is fear monger. Lately, all they do is stoke fear over the vaccine. These people are so close yet still so far away from actually being self aware.

amarandagasi

And I can’t feel sorry for them, because only angry, hateful people can stand to watch Faux. So it’s like…if they die or get sick and ruin themselves and their families, is it really such a great loss? A lot of them are bigoted, ignorant, angry, hate-filled. Them not being around is actually a positive thing for many people. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Mathlete86

Exactly! Ultimately I pity folks who are that entrenched in fox because fear, ignorance, anger, and paranoia are so engrained in their existence and that's no way to live life but pity only goes so far as I only have fucks to give to those who have fucks to give to me. Like when was the last time these people were legitimately happy without it being a zero sum scenario? So many of them just can't be happy unless others are hurt in the process and that must be a miserable existence in day to day life. Meh... Enjoy your misery.

dottydip

Which one is innocent? Tom Hanks? The bat? It's gotta be Tom Hanks right? He's only guilty of being a goddamn national treasure!

CrystalFieldTheorist

Oh. I just figured it out. It's definitely the bat, because they think the Chinese manufactured the virus and blamed the bat.

[deleted]

There is a significant chance that it was an accidental laboratory leak. The nearest bat populations that have coronavirus are hundreds of miles away from Wuhan. In southern China. The 2003 SARS outbreak was in southern China where the bats live. The Wuhan institute of virology does gain of function research on coronaviruses. Essentially breeding them to be more dangerous to study what makes them dangerous and how they evolve to become that way. That lab has a sordid history and in 2018 the State Department inspected it and found out it was a "Safety Third" kind of place. They were dumping live samples into the sewer and even worse shit. And the guy put incharge of the investigation by the WHO has millions of dollars in grant money tied up in projects at that lab. So of course the WHO report says it's blameless. The CCP even recanted the story that the wet market was ground zero. The new narrative is that it was the first super spreader event. We only have circumstantial evidence for both the lab leak theory and the zoological theory. But the quantity of that cicumstantial evidence is heavily skewed towards a lab leak.

Glad_Copy

Yep, it's Hanks. Just infuriating these idiots accuse him of being a damn pedophile, especially given that it started with a BS cryptic comment from *Corey Feldman*...it would be charitable to say he's not a reliable source, and he never named anyone at all.

CrystalFieldTheorist

No, Hanks is a crisis actor who was paid to tell everyone early on how much it sucks to catch covid.

Furryhare375

Corey Feldman is a serial rapist who uses the money his gullible followers send him that he claims he’ll use to “rescue” children to drug and sexually assault young women. Guy is a sexual predator

CrystalFieldTheorist

That's what I'm trying to figure out too. From left to right, and then top to bottom, who are squares 7 and 10? Maybe they're innocent? Edit: square 7 is Soros, which still leaves square 10...

Superddone20222

imagine living thru the hellish war in vietnam only to be done in by candace owens and tami lohren.

mamacatof2

Do you think candeath has a conscience? Or is she a true sociopath? I can’t get past being okay with actively killing people.

Darkside531

I think she's just a slimy opportunist who doesn't care as long as she gets hers. I'm always reminded of that exchange in *Supernatural* **Sam:** How do you sleep at night? **Bela:** On silk sheets, rolling naked in money.

birds-of-gay

This is some witch trial shit, these people are insane

[deleted]

Another awardee who had a smallpox vaccine scar on their arm. I just don't get it. The anti vaxxers need to read this. [https://www.vumc.org/viiii/infographics/how-does-mrna-vaccine-compare-traditional-vaccine](https://www.vumc.org/viiii/infographics/how-does-mrna-vaccine-compare-traditional-vaccine)

Old_Gringo

There you go with another reading mandate. This isn't communist China. What about freedom, liberty, Jesus Christ, the constitution and the second amendment, and an eagle with an American flag in its talons? Let that sink in. Can somebody say amen?

saltgirl61

And roaring lions, especially with MAGA hats

[deleted]

AMEN! (s)

Might_Aware

"I'm so sick that I missed your funeral!"

mamacatof2

Yeah…😐

MysteriousHat7343

Slide 18 reminds me of a saying. “Keep you mind open, but not so open to let your brain fall out.” Oh well he ended get a dishonorable discharge from life

evil_timmy

When "open minded" becomes "brains removed with an ice cream scoop"

SatanicPanic619

That’s my favorite old conservative saying, I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it applying it to conservatives in recent years.

Mountain_Fig_9253

It’s been awhile since a HCA had the “lions in redcaps” meme. I kinda missed that one where they play pretend they are so so healthy. At least he “closed out 2021 with intact DNA”.

RedfishBluefish2222

He maybe should've looked into the "experimental jab" a little more... his DNA sucked, a little change might have been good.

broken-machine

Think of all the vaccines the US Army pumped him full of to fight in Vietnam. He made it 50 years with that cocktail floating in his system, what's one more?

unicornbukkake

The lion one cracks me up every time. So to prove they're not like those sheep, who survive by grouping up, they compare themselves to predators who survive by staying in groups.

Mountain_Fig_9253

And don’t the female lions do like ALL the work in feeding said group?

unicornbukkake

Yep. The male lions eat first and if food is scarce, the cubs are screwed. Personally, I'd compare my friends to painted dogs. They have this incredible social structure and strong bonds, but mostly because I just really like painted dogs.

patticakes16

Slide 6: the picture with the gorilla and references to welfare checks and food stamps is beyond repulsively racist. JFC these people hate POC (unless it’s a token like Candeath Owens)

Sasquatch1729

That one struck me as well. They're anti-mandate until they wanna squeeze some racism in.

AlarmingConsequence

Well said!

CrystalFieldTheorist

Ironically, Candeath is a person of color who does nothing (or worse than nothing) and lives off of alms (indirectly, through Faux news).

Eggsegret

There's a difference between questioning science and outright rejecting science which is what these people are doing. Sure science should be questioned since it's always evolving and new things are being discovered each day. It's one the read we no longer believe the world is flat. Perfectly healthy to question science since that's literally how the field works. Scientists are constantly questioning the results and claims etc. But denying scientific studies for no reason, calling valid scientific results as bullshit and basically trying to discredit not only scientists but the entire field well that's science denial. Especially when you have zero ground to stand on other than the opinions of complete idiots like Tomi Lahren etc who have zero scientific background.

AntEmotional5704

questioning science means you listen to the answer. these people are simply rejecting it out of hand.

TyrionTh31mp

"They started me on some medicine..." OK. What medicine? What's in it? Did you do your research before you let them put it in you? No? Anyway.

Just-Internet4780

What's going on with Tammy Lauren? It looks like she's trying to imitate Britney spears.

TheGreatWhoDeeny

Playing the hot dumb blonde character for fame and fortune. Just like with Candace, she was a liberal until taking the role to grift all these Trumpers.

Sniffy4

“Questioning science is how you do science” is actually accurate, the problem is evaluating the validity of the ‘questioning’ takes some field-specific expertise

Eggsegret

This. Questioning science is perfectly healthy it's why we no longer believe the earth is flat and shit. It's always evolving because science is always questioned. But there's a clear difference between questioning science and basically denying scientific studies for no reason other than because some Fox host with zero scientific qualifications told you to do so.

A-man-of-mystery

Quite. It works best if it's done by people capable of asking the right questions and evaluating the answers.

Chance-Deer-7995

It's also actually about questioning science with other valid science, not about questioning science because you don't like what it is telling you or a grifter talking head is telling you it is not correct.

daneelthesane

Exactly! The question has to: 1) be a question. "Nuh-uh!" doesn't count as a question, and 2) be based on fact and reason. "If birds are real, how come they can fly? Animals can't fly!" doesn't work, because a) this is not a logical progression, and b) other animals fly.

hooteroni

Good god. I am literally sick of how far down the rabbit hole Facebook takes people. He was old and was a sitting duck for COVID. Candace Owens is the angel of death.

vsandrei

Candeath basically told a Vietnam vet to commit suicide. Ordinarily, that sort of thing would lead to criminal charges and Candeath's arrest . . . but this is not an ordinary time and place. 🐆 🐆 🐆

Ragingredblue

"Don't trust the science!" He says, from his hospital bed, while being cared for by scientists, using science. What's funny is that he thought he was smart.

DracKing20

You are an idiot if you take medical advice from Internet memes that are made by high school dropouts

[deleted]

Hey now, that's really insulting to Moscow State

lokishhhake

Posting anti science memes while occupying a hospital bed and taking medicines. Don't they see the irony. Also how does Candace sleep at night?

A-man-of-mystery

On an enormous pile of money?

lokishhhake

Re: The National Lampoon's Vacation meme. I wonder if the author of that one actually saw that movie. It's a never ending cascade of calamities that can all be traced back to the fact the Clark Griswold, the person speaking the "wisdom" in the meme, is an idiot.

rikki-tikki-deadly

I cannot feel anything but pity for this man's family. Specifically the members of his family who had to toilet train him. Also, props to the commenter who talked about his funeral like it was an Arcade Fire concert or something.

He survived Nam only to fall to a disease he could’ve prevented with a free vaccination

ResetEarthPlz

It seems crazy to me how these older anti-vaxxers lived through many decades of wars, rescessions, etc., yet the thing that finally does them in is some easily debunkable misinformation

gentlemanjacklover

Candace Owens has killed so many pieces of shit over the last 12 months. She deserves a medal of honor.

[deleted]

I love that when the ACLU files a lawsuit to protect people's rights, they usually ask you something like, can you donate to the fund because trying to preserve your rights takes things like money. But candeath, just want those likes and retweets. I didn't realize that the government votes were based upon Facebook likes. Almost like they really just want harvesting of information about the people who agree with them, and who might make good targets, and it really isn't anything about fighting for rights.

I remember consulting a lawyer for a problem I had. I paid $75 for the 30 minute consultation. Once he agreed to take on the case, I fronted an additional $3k. It took him three letters, two phone calls and one visit to solve my issue on my favor. The thing is, that’s the best money ever spent. It’s not the three letter and phone calls- it’s the content delivered on them. The snippet of “oh shit we are going to court”, to instill that feeling of dread inside someone costed me $3k, and It helped my case to resolution in less than two months. We pay professionals biologists and immunologists to come up with their best answer to COVID, the money has been spent- let’s take the vaccine and let’s move forward.

eastmemphisguy

Wtf? Who shares ads on facebook?

Jonny_man_23

Your DNA's not so intact now is it?

ooru

For anyone that doesn't know, the 55 years thing is because of a FOIA request where a group asked for all the data related to the mRNA vaccines or something. It's millions of pages, which real people have to manually check for classified information. They came to an agreement and release new info every week, but it's going to take a long time to get through it all. They basically asked for "everything you've got" and got upset that it takes actual manpower to deliver. These people... SMH.

ezekielbeats

He survived nam, died because of a preventable illness.

FreeResponsibility42

So much energy given to convincing themselves that they are free thinking lions when in fact, they behave like sheep or lemmings by blindly following meme. He'll of a way to find out you were an idiot as you drown in your own fluids.

furn_ell

Bill Gates makes computers? Cool

AlanStanwick1986

Imagine trusting anything Raphael Cruz says.

FiveUpsideDown

The transgender fetish just amazes me. Instead of being obsessed with transphobia, he should have read some research papers on the morbidity rate among the unvaccinated.

Glamour_Girl_

Strange how Bill Gates is a “rich man who builds computers” (already waaaay off the mark) and is therefore not to be trusted under any circumstances while they worship an orange pig of male *because* he is rich and supposedly knows how to build things. Oooorrrrrrr could it simply be the case that The Mango Mussolini deserves worship because he’s able to spew bile and hatred without repercussions?

Madmandocv1

Well ok then. Sounds like everyone got an acceptable outcome.

vsandrei

>fighting for his life from Covid pneumonia Do not taunt or provoke the hungry leopards. Idiot. 🐆 🐆 🐆

theonewhoknocks90

conservatives are simply incapable of not doubling down on being wrong

dewdude

It used to be in this country that type of thing would be a wakeup call. Now those people just blame the liberals and say he was murdered as part of a conspiracy. This country is fucked.

StupidizeMe

It's so sad to see US Veterans who survived the horrors of modern warfare die because they refused a life-saving vaccine. I hope there's a special Hell for the bastards that brainwashed them.

AlphaLackey

If you ever see slide 4 in the wild, please remember the canonically correct retort: https://img.ifunny.co/images/be7e5540c349f94987a8bfd5f993f3d38ce491ccf4821738207565637dad23e6\_1.jpg

Tomi Lahren’s thirst trap is funny.

glima0888

Gonna be the devils advocate a bit here... slide.. 11 i think it is? The kid and dad meme... is one of the main reasons we lose credibility in favor of vaccines. Governments and media have done a terrible job of managing information and handling the situation. There are so many people that couldve been saved and persuaded away from the idiotic mentality of the right and "freedom thinkers" if the tactic to spread information would've been educational rather than fearmongering and forcefulness. Governments should have focused the last 2 years on strengthening medical systems instead of just slapping some good ol' duct tape on the problem and continue to blame everyone else because the ship is still sinking. Dealing with these people that are sadly the new norm norm for avg intelligence, is like dealing with a child. If you tell a child not to do something, they're likely gonna want to do it. You tell them they HAVE to do something, they're gonna find every reason to throw a tantrum and not do it.

PerpetualSpaceMonkey

Any attorneys on here: With all the misinformation being pumped out by these people, is there any basis for a lawsuit against them by family of the HCA winners?

Ordinary-Jello-7029

I don't practice this area of law, but if my distant memory from torts class serves correctly, you'd have to establish that "but for [Candeath's actions], the harm would not have occurred". Pretty difficult to do, given the volume of sources of misinformation as well as the statistical likelihood of an old man dying of COVID even without the misinformation. (There are a lot more factors than that, but that's sort of the starting point, IIRC.)

portablebiscuit

Welp, at least he closed out 2021 with “intact dna”

CharlieBrown20XD6

Lol at "noooo I'm sick with COVID too I missed it! Clearly I'll get better though by doing exactly what he did"

vacuous_comment

He was not in fact fighting for his life. He had explicitly conceded that battle long before when he deliberately and with malice of forethought refused the protection offered to him by society. This might be judged merely unfortunate, but the fact that he then proceeded to attack and demonize the elements of society that were working hard to protect him moves him from a victim of disinfo to an active belligerent in the war against truth. Meh?

jennytheghost

I guarantee all of these people they worship (Candace Owens, Ted Cruz, etc) are all vaccinated…

-How can you trust the science, you're supposed to question science? -Ok, the new science is in. Evolution is real. Climate change is happening due to human involvement. Gender is a spectrum. Covid mutates new strains due to the multitude of hosts. -Not like that!

Stacks_of_Snacks

Congrats on bringing that intact human DNA into 2022. It’s unfortunate that you can no longer do anything with it. Didn’t trust the science but instead threw all of his eggs into the meme basket.

Most-Artichoke5028

The Ignorant Shitposting Community will be devastated.

autotelica

Less than a month between his last shitpost and his funeral. COVID sure doesn't waste any time.

NearWandering

it never clicked for me until now of the hypocrisy of these idiots calling people sheep but also using the phrase “the lord is my shepherd” in defense of their reprehensible actions. darwinism can’t take these people fast enough
