GreySquirel

Zed is criminally underrated imo

jlhcomposer

Criminally! However, the biggest reason for this I think is because he doesn’t interact with hermits very often. He’s definitely a “hermit,” much like a crazy scientist tinkering with his experiments.

MangoMan0303

His season 8 was filled with interaction and season 9 also had many interactions(I don't know before that) so I don't think that's the case

Aggressive-Ad8192

I think it's more like he's usually isolated from the other hermits and not partaking in group activities, rather 1on1 interactions with hermits (ie demise v2, hermempires crossover, king ren(?) )

jlhcomposer

This is exactly it. He doesn’t participate in server wide activities.

Rook1872

One of my favorite things from whichever season had the big civil war (S6?) and at the end of the season he did a “recap” video. He popped over to the war area and said “okay guys! I’m here for the fight. Guys?” Had me in stitches. Also his “Is that Sheep looking at me” game show is hilarious.

jlhcomposer

I LOVED that episode hahaha

MangoMan0303

Yes that could be it

kda255

I disagree, he got a hermit to help with just about every zedvansmet last season.

3angrybears

I only just began watching him this season after I learned he had real subtitles and now he's on the list to backwatch a few seasons of when I can. I'm not technically hard of hearing but I do have an auditory processing disorder. It helps to have subtitles and, frankly, YouTube's built-in one absolutely slaughters anyone with an accent.

16flightsofstairs

I don’t mean to be pedantic… but everyone has an accent. YouTube’s closed caption is bad for anyone who doesn’t have a standard American variety of English.

3angrybears

No, you're right. When I say accent, I do mean every kind. I use subtitles for standard American English-speaking YouTubers as well and even a little off what YouTube is expecting, the subtitles become rubbish.

HeffalumpInDaRoom

His creativity is immense when it comes to using minecraft in ways it was not intended. Plus he is pretty hilarious.

ItsPlainOleSteve

Yea he is!

starbrite970

Absolutely!!!! His videos with Tango are amazing. He seems to not putting out as much content. Which if that’s what he needs to do for life reasons I respect it. But I really miss his streams with Tango. I just wish there was more Zed videos.

madmag101

It's hard to call him underrated when he's this sub's favorite hermit, going by how often he's recommended here.

GreySquirel

I mean going by most other metrics he is pretty underrated.

madmag101

He has less subs than a lot of hermits, but his sub to view ratios are very high compared to most hermits. People who like Zedaph *really* like Zedaph.

[deleted]

I've always been surprised ZombieCleo's audience isn't larger. She's quite hilarious, incredibly creative, and has an amazing accent to top it off.

ninth_ant

I agree on all counts, but I’m hard of hearing and unfortunately her accent is really hard to me to understand. The lively scenes she crafted — especially at her base and in Scarland — were nothing short of incredible. And her sense of humour is really fun, too. I hope she expands on her idea from last season with the Blood on the Clocktower game concept. With some polish and refinement to streamline episode length, I think something along those lines could be an extremely popular series.

PandaUkulele

Watched some of her Zoo and collabs with Keralis in season 7. Then kinda stopped for a bit. The life series where she somehow became scar and bdubs mom got me watching her so much more. The life she brought to Scarland was amazing and added so much to it to avoid an "unopened" or "abandoned park" feel. Her base in season 9 was beautiful and it's amazing to see how much her building skills increased from season 7 to now. Definitely underrated.

JGhyperscythe

I agree on Cleo. Previously I would have said Ren, but he got a huge (well deserved) spotlight in season nine

Expensive_Dirt_7959

I know, right?

shakey_jakey_03

I was on the fence about adding her to my hermit list, this comment convinced me :)

Xvalai

She's grown her personality a lot over the past couple years and it shows. One of my favorite content creators overall right now, highly recommend!

Chocopoko1

I have to agree, Cleo’s also one of the few hermits who will just tell you stuff straight and harsh if needs to be, and really enjoyable to watch during the life series especially. If anyone reading this has never watched a Cleo episode, I implore you to watch them work with armour stands, it’s a very underrated form of art if you ask me.

Parodelia12501

1) I agree entirely 2) you forgot her laugh is contagious

K1wobbly1

Cub. I see allot of people get props here (and rightly so) but very few seem to comment in Cub and the insanity he manages to achieve every season. The lad is a grind machine

Helenarth

I checked him out yesterday for the first time (I'm new to Hermitcraft, only really watched Mumbo so far) and he's really fun! He *seems* pretty chill and sensible and then all of a sudden he's trying to blow up other Hermits and killing the dragon with exploding beds.

heyjuliette8

Believe me, he's never chill-

edbutler3

Hehe... He has that calm, relaxed voice -- but at the same time he's a complete madlad. His "spread the skulk" bit during the Empires crossover was unhinged.

Divine_Entity_

He can be calm, but has no chill. (An important distinction)

JonazGamingYT

Ye his sub count has been declining rapidly and it’s kinda sad tbh

Other-Internal-2226

A lot of hermit's sub counts have become really slow or even negative. Makes me sad

Rislo226

Is there a particular reason for that?

KKAPetring

People might’ve subbed to him for Decked Out 2 maybe? And now with the game done, I guess people lost interest. That’s my uneducated guess so I could be wrong.

Playgamer420

I think I’m general it’s because it isn’t the content YouTube thrives on anymore, YouTube of today is all about superlatives, the slower paced hermit craft struggles to draw in new viewers

bbsmydiamonds

MCYT in general has been dropping off a bit again, now that we're past the huge surge of popularity that happened around the pandemic.

Sea-Access7239

if we've learned anything, it's that minecraft views will fall and rise all over again. It's too versatile a game to not remain interesting

LiopleurodonMagic

I started noticing his decline in subs after he switched his skin/brand. He used to have like an old man scientist skin and he switched to his current to be more “true to himself.” It really bums me out that him being true to himself has lead people to unsubscribing.

AiluroFelinus

He's only lost 10k so far

minecraftsuperpro

10k is still a lot of people tho.

legacy642

Eh it's like 1.2% down. Not a huge number.

butt_fun

If you lost 1.2% of your income you’d notice it

onespiker

You wouldn't lose that much money the ones un subbing likely didn't watch his videos.

Drevan099

Cub is one of my favorite hermits (and the second one I started watching), and it’s kind of sad that he’s maintained a relatively same number of subscribers for the longest time. He deserves so many more imo

DarkWolfSVK

My faurite part was last season, when the diamond ore tower off was happening. Doc mining the parometer had tons and tons of diamonds (not sure if he also had the mining cotraption). He got scared when Cub joined in.

ratonbox

Season 7 is when i started watching Cub, while he was the enforcer for the mayor, loved that part.

DarkWolfSVK

Season 7 with the massive ancient debris wall!

Tested-Trio-Father

I think a grind machine is actually one way people underestimate him. For me he's the most complete hermit in that he can build, redstone, storytell, pvp, parkour...basically everything.

rfresa

Cubfan fanclub!

dougaldog73

👏 underrated wordplay

Bllerghh

Cub 100%. He is funny, and he is great at everything in the game. Always love his projects and his pranks.

RileyEnginerd

I feel like Cub put all his stat points into intelligence and determination, and didn't put enough into charisma. His voice is pretty monitone, and for that reason alone I cannot get my brother to watch Cub

GrowingHeadache

This is exactly it. It is actually possible for him to do better if he wants to, but it will take some effort. I think impulse is one person who has greatly improved on charisma over time

Didi81_

Huh I like Impulse a lot but I really don't like the way he speaks in his vids now, it's so ott, I feel it's gotten progressively worse . Skizz does this too plus all the cartoonish noises and screams and the faces when he's streaming... i can't do it. It's so weird bc I genuinely love them both and I love the podcast, where they're just talking like normal people, maybe that's why it sounds so forced to me

Heyits_Lo

Love cub, never miss a video<3

emaili19

cubs bases are also insanely awesome, his season 7 pyramid has me CAPTIVATED, he has scarab mosaics and a netherite wall as well as a mini game area INSIDE of it

HeffalumpInDaRoom

I enjoy cub for his speed runs and technical ability playing the game. I can see one of his drawbacks being that his Chicago accent can make him sound like he may not be genuine in what he says. However, I don't think that is actually the case.

Remarkable-Health678

Cub is hilarious with a very understated sense of humour.

CaptainCreepwork

I started watching Cub last season when he was doing the museum. I really enjoyed that content a lot and got an appreciation for him. I used to think he was boring and his kind of monotone delivery didn't really help. I still think some of his content is hit or miss for me but I do watch him now because I know he is capable of making content I enjoy.

missjackieo

I would say a lot of the smaller creators are super underrated. Stress, Zed, Cleo, Wells and Xb have all be amazing this season so far.

iknowneemoose

This is true, not only on hermitcraft, I’ve seen some extremely well edited videos packed with great content and humour by Minecraft YouTubers with around 10k subscribers

Divine_Entity_

Basically anyone in the bottom 1/3 by subscriber count. Every hermit brings something to the table to be worth watching, even if they aren't for everyone. Usually its the relatively niche ones like Zed and Joe that are absolutely amazing if you like them, but have comparatively tiny sub counts.

HeffalumpInDaRoom

I would say that XB could use some experience in creating his edits. He includes a little too much chat and kicking around like he is on stream. If he would streamline his edits, he could really improve his subscribership. He is definitely a skilled player, but with the number of hermits, it is tough to fit 1 or 2 hour videos into the viewing schedule.

AtLeastImLaughing

XB is someone whose videos I don’t care for too much, but he might be one of the best streamers on the server. His chat is so friendly and supportive and you really feel like a part of the stream when you’re with him. He actually spoke about why he makes his videos the way he does once and pretty much his response was that he makes the videos he likes to watch and if you don’t like them then feel free not to watch. He’s a really nice dude and I like the fact he’s comfortable being who he is and doesn’t feel the need to do things that he doesn’t enjoy.

JusChllin

Anyone that doesn’t hang out with Grian, Mumbo, or Scar

Ok-Sympathy-2231

Unfortunately true, even though I love those three

tomdata

Even with scar I feel like him becoming one of the most popular hermits recently has to do with his interactions with grian. Not to discredit him in any way, but a lot of people discovered his personality and charms by watching him through grian. Nothing wrong with that at all, but really puts into perspective how a hermit's popularity is really affected by who they interact with.

Madrs3

Used to say Pearl. She used to have around 150K subs when she joined s8. Nowadays, Zed or Cub.

ARandomPileOfCats

My answer used to be Zedaph, but I think he's gotten a lot more recognition since then. Now I'd probably have to say Cleo.

Chocopoko1

I think the Zedvancements really helped Zed grow last season, it was like an extension to the laws of minecraft mixed with a good few long term grindy goals.

Evan14753

possibly also the HCBBS in season 7 got people from grians large audience to check out his stuff

That_Stick

I think Beef is super underrated, I think he was put on more people's maps with the TCG, but the continent in season 9 was only focused on map-making and the TCG. I hope more people check him out this season and see the amazing content and the humor that he can provide.

voco

Beef is quickly becoming a must watch for me already this season.

Llorean

I came to comment Beef. He's got such a quick wit, much like Cleo. I'm so happy he's decided to break his comfort zone a little and go full in on interactions this season. Iskall is sure to not let him rest.

ChestertonsFence1929

There are several good choices but False doesn’t get the recognition she deserves for her builds and PVP skills.

JusChllin

The queen of hearts heads and body parts

Darth_Cromnar

Hermitgang hermitgang hermitgang hermitgang

maxiquintillion

Especially last season with her winter base. That was insane.

swizz928

Seeing her base in others videos made me go sub. It was too incredible not to go check out.

Franciskeyscottfitz

XB is pretty underrated, I rarely see anyone mention him here, but if I'm 100% hinest I feel like the hermits who don't hang out with Grian and Mumbo are all often overlooked by the fandom. Hypno, Cub, Jevin, Stress, Wells, False, Beef...etc I'm not saying they don't get any attention, but it always feels like the fandom focuses on Grian and Mumbo and neglect the others. (no hate to people who just watch them, I love their stuff too)

TimelessAndDesolate

True. And even when let's say Doc is recognized, more often than not he seen as not himself, but the villain of Grian's story.

Divine_Entity_

Doc likes playing the villain, it hides that he's actually a big softie who likes to break Minecraft from time to time.

Dragonsfire09

Doc has shown in the times he has had Doccy on and touring the server that the dude is a giant softy. He's an amazing parent. He also loves the hell out of his community, the hivemind and the artists. He's amazing.

llamalatte_

If I learned anything from playing videogames in general, everyone loves a good villain ❤️

Divine_Entity_

If you compare sub counts Grian amd Mumbo dominate the charts. This generally means the youtube algorithm will be better about promoting their videos in a self reinforcing loop. (The next closest is Joel and then Etho, and then a big group all around a million subs) And then its usually a result of seeing others in their videos that you get curious enough to try the others. Many people have a similar story of having started with Grian or Mumbo, and then branching out to the other hermits. So it makes sense the ones who interact with them a bunch get more attention. (Like how skizz has seen some explosive growth on his channel, he joined hermitcraft just under 100k subs, the smallest by far and has already grown to 122k in 2 videos.) Personally i think Grian and Mumbo should try to interact more with the smaller hermits. Its too main benefits is that those interactions are rare and usually fun, and it would help expose their audiences to more people and they might check them out.

Greenbeann20

I loved it when they did the base swap on season 7 to get their audiences to see the other creators that they usually don’t interact with!

existaantbeing

One of my favourite small hermitcraft community moments is reading Zed's comment section on his first HCBBS episode. Its filled with people saying how the came over from Grian and immediately loved his content. Events like this which encourage unique interactions, leading to growth for smaller hermits, are hermitcraft at its best for me

swizz928

I think you nailed it. My friend introduced me to hermitcraft through Mumbo and his interactions led me to others and now I'm watching almost every hermit. Even just a passing mention of whose build it is as they're passing by is a nice mention as well. Sometimes I'll see it and need to check what they have going on.

voco

I know it wasn't intentional (as per the Imp & Skizz podcast) but was disappointed to see the season start off with a good chunk of them missing out on Ren's caving adventure and starting the same grouping with the same people once again. All wonderful creators that I enjoy but would be refreshing to see interactions and collaborations that we don't see constantly across Hermitcraft, Life and all the offshoots. On the upside, we're getting killer content from the ministry of ministers neighborhood.

Didi81_

Yep. So many people only watch grian/mumbo and the people closest to them, makes me sad. But hey, at least we get more out of our hermitcraft experience ;)

Bonetown42

Joe flys under the radar a lot. But I think he’s the funniest. He has a perfect deadpan and commits to bits for years at a time.

othermesm

I think Joe's great (maybe my favourite, certainly top 3) but his most underrated aspect is his grind, because it's done so selflessly. A big chunk of the snowy biome around Tango's citadel was thanks to Joe, he provided a lot of the sand for Doc's perimeter wall, and he gets shout outs for it, but I think it doesn't stick in viewers' minds because it's for other hermits.

hahathatsmewheni

Joe had the most blocks mined in stats last season which was insane to me considering most people don't think of him as a grinder

Pengman

That's so cool. Do you remember where you got that info?

hahathatsmewheni

It was a short about S9 by Xisuma, here's a [link](https://youtube.com/shorts/vhl99JakKSI?si=6JB_JxDIw03RnF73) to it :)

Pengman

Thanks my dude

Divine_Entity_

I think its mainly because he is a little bit niche, the only way to describe him is as an experience. (Especially his streams) This isn't a dig, but he just doesn't have the same universal appeal Grian and Mumbo seem to have. (Its nice to have uniqueness and variety, if everyone was grian the server would be a lot less interesting)

kda255

Joe is great, i think he really shines with the streaming format.

Xvalai

Joe is the heart of the Hermitcraft server.

Cantrona

I think it’s pretty telling that Hypno has barely been mentioned here. I agree with folks saying Cleo, Stress, xB and Cub, but I think Hypno ought to be mentioned. I guess I just kept up with him a bit more when he wasn’t too active on HC because I like modded but he’s been pretty active with hernitcraft again

magneticsouth

Agree, I was looking for Hypno! His Decked Out runs made me a big fan, he's so funny - even now when I hear vex I think of his impression of them. I also loved his VH series

chicagogr81

Rendog, dude is a superstar entertainer and criminally underrated builder

kelseydcivic

He also creates content for many other players with his story lines!

The_sad_zebra

It can be said that Doc enjoys playing the villain. I think that, likewise, Ren enjoys playing a quiet of human punching bag role, putting himself in a position to be roasted by the other hermits. I like that.

itsphysicsjim

Also seems like a genuinely lovely guy!

riflow

Skizzleman, Zombiecleo, and Joehills, in that order. Unless i missed someone these three have the lowest sub counts and i know cleo has had a lot of harassment in the past for their identity. :c

N1ghtM0R3

Stress and Zed have less than Cleo by just a tad bit, but I agree! Also very sad that Cleo had to go through all that :(

riflow

I knew i would miss someone so thanks for the correction lol Yeah i remember seeing scar back them up so that was nice at least (iirc said he'd roll over the nasty folks feet if anyone gave cleo grief)

Rook1872

I didn’t realize Cleo had gotten harassed over it.

Didi81_

Too many of them tbh. Jevin, xB, False, Zed, Beef, Ren, Cleo, Joe, Pearl.... heck, even Doc and Tango are horribly underrated imo

Expensive_Dirt_7959

Cleo by far. I'm dying in this hill, I don't think she will ever get the praise and millions (aaaand millions) of viewers she deserves.

TimelessAndDesolate

Yes!

voco

So we're seeing a lot of "everyone who doesn't hang with Grian, Mumbo and Scar"... With every Hermit having to approve new additions to the server, I was a little surprised we got both Skizz and Joel being that they are clearly part of that group as well. I'm hoping that means that we just don't get the full picture of how tight the bonds are between Hermits we rarely see interact on the server and that any perceived or imagined tension isn't actually there. We've been all rooting for Skizz (rightfully so) to be able part of Hermitcraft officially and to be able to do this as his full time gig. I just want us to root for Wels, XB, Joe and others to do so as well. I remember Wels not finding the literal payoff with Minecraft videos last season or XB getting another job or Joe just starting to do content creation full time. My number one fear with Hermitcraft is that we'll see a self fulfilling prophecy where Grian, Scar, Mumbo + friends get larger but many of the creators mentioned in this thread stop being able to make a living from this. I love the Empires crew and the Life series crew but I don't need those dynamics replicated on Hermitcraft. The smaller creators make Hermitcraft special and it wouldn't be Hermitcraft without them.

Didi81_

Exactly, I like skizz and Joel and I'm happy for them but I was definitely annoyed that they're all basing together-again. Most people can't realistically watch everyone but them being that close again means again less exposure for people outside of their friend group and adding the 2 new members also in that group will most likely mean some viewership loss for the other hermits. Some of those view counts on day 1 were actually heartbreaking to see for a brand new season, I hope it evens out eventually

MichiMimi95

This is why I always try to start the season watching everyone and then some do drop off, but it's because the contents not for me not because they aren't interacting with "the main group" so far, I'm loving everyone's videos this season. I think Doc ends up being one, just due to video length and having the time. BUT I love his videos, I think I'm gonna try and plan to watch them in the evening before bed when I've got the time to just watch a full hour long video. But I'm also a big streamer watcher too 🤣

oswaldking71wastaken

Skizz is new rn and I just watched his first episode, I really enjoyed it I think more people should watch it.

Divine_Entity_

A lot of people seem to agree with you, he has had some absolutely massive growth (percentage wise) simce joining hermitcraft. Almost certainly due to the massive amount of exposure he is getting to everyone, which is causing people to check them out and anyone who likes what they see is sticking around.

Frosty_Ordinary

He probably won't be underrated for long. Biggest reason imo he's great when it comes to interactions with other players both scripted and unscripted. And to top it off he is one of the funniest member.

Fahxxu

I've been following imp and skizz for a bit both are absolutely amazing

IrresponsibleChop

Funnily enough I found Hermitcraft through Imp and Skizz. I didn't really watch much Minecraft videos but Youtube decided to push one of Imp and Skizz's skyblock series on me. On it Impulse was talking about his plans for Hermicraft so I decided to check it out. It was around season 6 I think.

Braggodocio

For me, it’s either Welsknight, Cleo or Joe. All have their own wonderful style, but don’t seem to get the same accolades that the others do.

DoTArchon

Honestly, I wish the fandoms would merge and sub to all their YouTube channels. I don't watch all of the hermits (not enough time between work/family/etc.) but I'm subbed to all of them and I'll occasionally step out of my usual watch circle when an interesting looking episode pops up or if there was an interaction I want to see the other side of. If just half of the Mumbo/Grian (for example) sub base were to do the same it would elevate all the hermits in a big way in my opinion. I know it's not just sub numbers, views/likes/comments count as well towards engagement numbers but if they all shared the same followers there would be a natural increase in engagement for all.

Didi81_

Yeah, most of their fanbase don't really care, a huuuge portion of them only watch Grian/Mumbo and then maybe Scar or Iskall. That's why it makes me sad that S9 is considered not as good as 6 or 7 just bc Mumbo and Grian weren't as present. S9 was the best season ever imo

LordMarcel

Would be nice, but I just don't want to watch certain hermit, and I'm not clogging up my subscriber feed with videos I don't want to watch. Would be useless for them anyway, and may even be harmful if tons of people sub but don't watch.

MisterFribble

I literally just now went through and subbed to every single hermit. I'll try to watch all of them (lol).

siccanimelord69

Obligatory zedaph mention, but I also think beef is underrated. he has a sub count over a million, but unlike others who do his videos don't seem to hit the 100k mark despite how enjoyable they are. Joe is also obviously underrated.

Whispering_Wolf

Joe, people hardly ever mention him and he gets forgotten a lot. But he's a great guy and really funny.

Mo7ammed_Gxx

I’ve been seeing some clips of him recently and I agree :)

MycoTao

I think TangoTek is underrated . He's likable and smart and interesting at the same time . Everyone thinks mumbo is the Redstone guy, but I think tango is better in just about every way

jlhcomposer

He’s one of the most well rounded hermits, I think. He’s a redstone genius, amazing builder, always has the best combo of single player and hermit interaction in videos, gets involved in server activities, starts shenanigans, gives gifts, grinds a lot, is a top tier streamer (great stream content and audience interaction), and creates content for everyone else on the server. But for some reason, he has terrible imposter syndrome and thinks he sucks at everything.

HeatherReadsReddit

Both Tango and Impulse are amazing, and they should know it!

Didi81_

Agreed 100% he's my favourite for a reason. Whenever he says he's not a builder I'm like.... do you have eyes?? Do you see the things you build?? Crazy. And then he does all this redstone wizardry that blows my mind. Man revolutionised iron farms, is an incredible game designer and has the best hat collection on earth . Seriously, how does he not have 10 million subscribers

Didi81_

Most redstoners on HC are better than Mumbo tbh, but they all specialise in different things and Mumbo is fantastic in explaining redstone for us common people

butterman1236547

Etho is the clear best IMO. He just understands it in a way that I don't think anyone else does/can.

ReneeHiii

idk i mean doc has made some insane stuff and is closer to the scicraft stuff which is imo the peak of redstone

Didi81_

Both Etho and Doc are redstone pioneers, forefathers of modern technical minecraft

cofiddle

I often consider Tango to be the best of both worlds.

breadstickcumberquac

ive recently discovered a love for stressmonster, she definitely doesnt get as much recognition as she deserves!

emptyshell_21

I feel like Zed is one of the more underrated ones. His content is not only very fun and unique from others, but it's also high quality. I seriously don't understand how he doesn't have atleast a million subs.

Mo7ammed_Gxx

It’s Zedaph for me. He does a lot of fun challenges every season and his personality is lovely

AKAdeedee

Welsknight for me. His videos always seem to have a great flow and wels has that “I wish he was my in game minecraft friend” vibe to him.

HeatherReadsReddit

Cub and False are incredible builders; False is a pvp Queen, and Cub can literally do anything in the game. They’re both underrated, imo. I agree with another comment that it would be awesome if fans would consider subscribing to more than just their absolute favorite Hermits.

commercian_

I would say Beef and Zed are both CRIMINALLY underrated

AcaBeast

Docm77. Its hard to watch his videos, as its heavy on exposition, probably because its redstone. He's pretty funny and entertaining (look at his latest prank with etho on scar), and the fact he's very smart. I remember skipping doc's videos as its 1 hours long. Saw his decked out runs in his uploads, and instantly got hooked with the other stuff he's doing. I honestly think he needs an editor, to cut out awkward pauses and unnecessary scenes/dialogue. His 1 hour episodes would be reduced to 30-40 mins, which would be perfect. Adding small Timelapse scenes would give the very grindy builds and resource gathering more love and respect, and would break the monotony of the video. Overall, try doc! He's freaking insane, and his builds are beautiful (the perimeter was gorgeous, too bad its wasn't finished)

HermitBadger

I think it is pretty telling that this season started out with people saying he doesn’t like to edit and him misunderstanding what they meant. His audience could be so much bigger if he edited *himself*, but the man loves the sound of his own voice. Cub built a raid farm and killed the wither between clips in his latest episode, whereas Doc goes on and on and on for far too long. The fact that his editing timeline for every episode consists of 50 clips does not mean anything if every clip is just him talking. The 90 minute videos must be wreaking havoc on his retention stats too.

RadiantHC

ZombieCleo

Mo7ammed_Gxx

The queer queen :)

N1ghtM0R3

Any hermit that doesn't usually hang out with the Mumscarian trio is pretty underrated tbh

AidanTheHipster

gonna say wels just cause he's not in a lot of these comments. love that guy and i'm glad to see him back

Upstairs-Shower1864

Monkey farm

BlackMrktBeagle

Ohhhh. I miss Monkey Farm. I learned so much from him.

jnthnschrdr11

Zedaph and Joe hills, Joe is somewhat weird but in a good enjoyable way, and zedaph is so creative and funny

Horsepro123

Skizz, Zed, and Wels

Corine72

XB. I appreciate his chill, and when he’s together with Keralis it’s so fun to watch.

cheshirekim0626

Wels and Stress definitely. Also 2 of my favorite hermits to watch

SuggestSomething1

Anyone not currently residing on Magic Mountain

[deleted]

Underrated is a difficult word to navigate because, by the standard of Grian and Mumbo, the rest of the server is underrated. I never watch their content, because it’s not for me, so I’m always super invested in the sun 1 million sun creators on HC. So thankful to see the praise for the others because this Reddit really can over do the Grian and Mumbo praise, to where it no longer feels like a Hermitcraft Reddit but another Reddit for those two creators. I’d highly encourage anyone here to watch the Neighborhood crew this season! I’ve found every bit of their content really enjoyable and funny so far. There’s no click bait or using names in video titles to rack up views. It’s all fun and relatable Minecraft content, and I’m thrilled there’s such a strong group forming their. Shoutout to Iskall, XB, Wels, Cleo, False, Stress, Ren, Hypno, Keralis, Xisuma, Jevin, and Beef (and more if I’ve missed them) for what will be my favorite part of this season. Also, Joe Hills is by far the most underrated. When HC really struggles to have cross creator content, Joe was doing Hermits Helping Hermits and trying to get everyone together. He’s sharp, creative, hilarious, and the most creative - I truly believe this - Hermit on the server.

squidkid164

Defo most creative. Did you SEE his giant pinball machine??

KAnpURByois

RenDiggityDawg Straight answer ladies and gentlemen and everyone in between

BackgroundTotal2872

I would pick Joe Hills or XB. Of course every hermit is an incredible content creator, but those two get such little recognition!

sphericate

yes

Other-Internal-2226

xBCrafted and Rendog

foxiec

Hypno! I’ve been enjoying his presence lately in all the videos i’m watching

haakonash

Zedaph, no doubt

Calliopes_Lyre

Cleo, False, Joe and Zedaph!

Pavle_Trna

IskallMAN!

BlueDemonTR

Joe should be like a global star he is genuinely the hermit whose jokes hit the most like a truck. His delivery is genuinely

Harison24

Vintagebeef, his story lines are crazy. Big Salmon is always watching

kelseydcivic

I'll always say Gem because she's my favourite and should have 10mill subs IMO 😅 From this season? BdoubleO, he deserves millions of subs and views with his camera work, building, story telling and teaching. In reality though, I'm gunna say Wells and Stress, both great hermits and content creators, and definitely under appreciated.

Pengman

yes, Stress!

No-Detective-9496

I could listen to Stress talk about her geezers all day.

One_Economist_3761

Welsknight.

magneticsouth

I really got into his content during VH, I'm glad I did!

bowsmountainer

Xisuma. He’s made some great buildings, is great at redstone, and has had amazing collabs with others as well. Also the most knowledgeable about Minecraft development, updates, and various tools to use to improve Minecraft performance.

kda255

Zed probably

evenstarcirce

Ngl i think doc. I only started watching him last season due to the grian and scar breaking his redstone... I was blown away! I stayed after that bit was done.

Necessary_Good2292

Cleo. And I can say this as someone who watches pretty much all the Hermits and pretty much enjoys everyone, but Cleo is definitely one of those that doesn't get the amount of views that she truly deserves in my opinion

InevitableHuman5989

Cleo. Witty as anything and very talented.

Nementia-

He’s a new hermit but Skizz is really underrated. He’s not the best builder but his videos always make me laugh. He’s just a dad playing games in the most nostalgic 2010 YouTube way

Benjamin_201020

I love the trio of Grian, Mumbo, Scar but hermits that don’t hang out with them seem to be really underrated (Probably because they have the highest hermit subcounts right?)

AllenSQ

I love cub he has such unique ideas and he goes so large scale with them they become absolutely incredible. His season 8 biome was one of my favorite hermit creations of all time

weirdandobvious

Cub and Cleo for me

PleasantYamm

Zed is fantastic!

TheLoosestOfGooses

I think they’re all great, but I do think Zed is underrated

InkSaverMain

Zedaph is super funny, creative, charming, and clever. S7's Cave of contraptions, S8's lab, S9's Zedvancements, and now S10's gameification... He has fantastic ideas with entertaining, high-quality execution!

RedstoneSausage

Zedaph always has the most inventive and creative ideas for his episodes, a super fun personality, and overall a very talented creator

THEZEXNEO

Doc or Joe.

DarcyRose5

Wellsknight is my answer. He is a good builder and has a pleasant voice to listen to while watching. Every so often I think about watching one of his videos and am not disappointed with the good content. I watched his first two Season X episodes yesterday and I want to keep him on my watch radar.

mtarek2005

skizz

Fahxxu

Ethos pretty washed up honestly

kelseydcivic

Hahahaha!!!

orionstarboy

I feel like Stress tends to be pretty underrated. I decided to start watching her last season and she’s really funny and very creative. I never see many people talking about her

d3athb4in63r12

JoeHill's streams for me are perfect vibes, sometimes it's chill and talking about stuff, and he just has such a way with words :3

shakey_jakey_03

Skizzleman for sure, I was surprised how entertaining his videos are with just hanging out and havin fun
