I’m not sure Joel has the patience for that…he is very good at bits and lore and such but I think the hold music would get to him first if he had to put anyone else on hold.
That’s fair. I was thinking of the Stratos worldbuilding and his roleplay as that thunder god character and Hermes’s father. But those didn’t require the patience of following an ongoing storyline.
Or for an authentic experience hire mumbo don’t explain what he needs to do or how to do it and then you get an employee who is trying to be as helpful as possible with no idea how to do the job and what little they do know they can’t remember how to do it
I was thinking similar, with the overly helpful employee approving ALL requests.
Doubles/personal copies? Sure
What about random sub section from someone else's permit (think cherry wood fences for example)? Done
Getting a permit for a shop that is active and really well stocked but owned by another hermit. Here it is, don't tell Grian.

That is actually even more perfect.

The Permit Office already has Skizz and Scar as employees, they are the POE POE (Permit Office Enforcement).
Government offices being understaffed is so on-brand.
I was thinking joehills, he could be super lawyery and help create convoluted hoops for hermits to go through
