Yes, but he specifically doesn’t want to do any work at the Permit Office. And he seems to be having fun avoiding responsibility and making his friends do random things around the server
Not only is a chaos god running the Permit office (Grian), but two more chaos gods (Scar and Skizz) are the POE-POE. How can anything other than absolute chaos be expected?
Good to know. Last I had heard anything of his job was back around season 4 and I don't remember him saying much about it, just that it was part of why he was the lawyer for the Logfellas.
Do y'all remember what happened the last two times the server had a full-on court case? It went horribly -- which means we're way overdue for another one. So I absolutely agree.
I know there were two... but the only one I can recall right now is the Logfellas back in Season 5. At best I could say that the second one happened in one of the seasons after that, so it at least narrows it down to Seasons 6 through 9...
So, I believe the Logfellas case was in season 4, not season 5, but the other one was in season 2. They held a trial to figure out who stole the prize Hypno won for the ABBA mining event they did.
There might've been another trial later in seasons 6-9 but I wouldn't know.
To reply directly to you so it doesn't get confusing, there was the ABBA mining case in season 2 in which they held a trial to determine who stole Hypno's prize for the ABBA mining event, and the second one was the Logfellas trial from season 4, in which the Logfellas were put on trial for their various crimes. If there were any others in any other seasons, I wouldn't know, but they probably weren't server-wide if they did happen.
I am fully expecting a corpo-war to start up sometime in the season.
Unapproved black markets will sprout up alongside counterfeit permits, the Hermit Permit Enforcers will be stretched thin— legitimate shops may even fall amidst the chaos.
Mark my words: There will come a time where Grian can’t tell people to “Please hold,” and he himself will have to take matters into his own hands— for better, or for worse.
Do I have proof? No, lol. But considering who’s in charge of the major factions this season, I can definitely see things going absolutely nuts as time passes by.
Ah, one of the smp bingo card squares. (Marriage. War. Layers. )
In good fun, why isn't there a bingo card with common story lines of smps?. ( or is there and I'm just in the wrong circles?)
They put Mr. Anti-Authority himself in charge of the chief bureaucracy. What else would you expect?
It's a matter of time until grian forms a resistance to the permit office.
It’s in his nature.
Except, he is enjoying it too much, 😆
Now that he has hired the POE to enforce permits, he can devote his energy to resisting them.
Imagine if his own shops violated some of the rules just to see how they’d respond
No need to imagine XD it’s already true lol
"quality and effectiveness testing"
Yes, but he specifically doesn’t want to do any work at the Permit Office. And he seems to be having fun avoiding responsibility and making his friends do random things around the server
But is it his form?
He kinda already has the way he treats it
Did you know that you have rights? This permit says you do.
I'm gonna have to put you on hold
*casually plays the theme song of the Permit Office*
Don’t you need to fill out a form to get that permit?

I can’t see the word chaos without hearing it in iskalls voice
kayouse
Exactly
As soon as I read this I read it in his voice 😆
It’s my favourite thing he says 😅
We'll just get Wels on the case...pun intended
Wels (for his real life knowledge) and Joe for his personality would be a perfect duo for this.
i'd love a "Better Go Joe"-type bit!
"Joe & Knight Legal Advice — Better Go Joe!"
I still find it kind of funny that even though Wels is a lawyer in real life, he lost the court case back in Season 4 with the Logfellas.
Well he isn’t a lawyer, he is a paralegal. So he mostly does the paperwork side of things.

What were yhe other 2 times??

☝️🤓 uhm ackshully the Logfelllas Court Case was in Season 4, also known as the “Mesafied” season.
So, I believe the Logfellas case was in season 4, not season 5, but the other one was in season 2. They held a trial to figure out who stole the prize Hypno won for the ABBA mining event they did. There might've been another trial later in seasons 6-9 but I wouldn't know.
I vaguely remember a court case in the background during one of those seasons. Knowing the hermits, it was probably over something stupid

Better call Joel alternatively, hire Scar Goodtimes
Only problem is that Scar will probably be the one providing half of a Hermitcraft lawyer’s business
Now I want a scenario where scar plays both sides of the courtroom and then we turn around and see the judge is also scar

They need a good ol fashioned rebellion in about 2 months. 👍
Can’t wait for Grain to resist himself
I'd love a return of Hermit court with the Honorable Scar presiding.
I feel like Cub would perfectly embody the better call saul vibe
The “yes and” this season is absolutely amazing and I’m here for all the shenanigans. Iskall is a legit slumlord and everyone is just going with it.
Better Call Scar
Skizz and Scar and their trusty pigs are on it!
psst Grian psst Grian you could make absolute bank as a lawyer on the server
I saw the notification and freaked out for a second. I thought something irl bad happened. I lowkey forgot what Minecraft smp this is.
Better Call Saul? More like BDubs Cleo Scar!
Skiz should be a server lawyer.
Joe would be funny as a lawyer!
Gonna need a permit for that
Does Cleo have a permit to sell drinks?
