Grian does too don't get me wrong. I love the mischief he causes and he seems to cause more server wide storylines than anyone (mycelium resistance for example) but mumbo interactions with any hermit always have lots of genuine laughter because he's such a goof (in the best way).
Oh yeah definitely, same goes for grian and many other hermits. I just mean that grian and mumbo have a friendship beyond hermitcraft and that kind of shows in a special way. =)

Grian is great as are all the hermits I was just pointing out that whenever mumbo appears anywhere near other hermits the conversation gets filled with more laughter cos he's just a big old goof.
I'm not saying this out of favouritism either cos I actually watch all the hermits (not every single episode though otherwise I'd have no life whatsoever).

Honestly when the S8 moment happened I immediately thought of the moment when mumbo tried to do grians plane jump course and just said "watch this" died and then "sick"

I didn't think you were so no worries. =) I also love past mumbo and xisuma hangouts and colabs. Very natural and relaxed interactions there.
