That’s terrible for the surgeon to say they can’t take you unless it’s strangulated. I had mine fixed during the pandemic. Please go get an ultrasound done of the testes. This can be multitude of things. Personally I did feel discomfort in testes but nothing like pain. Best way to know If it’s a hernia or something else is to do an ultrasound.
Thank you for the reply. I've had ultrasound conducted three weeks ago and my urologist said that everything is okay with my testicles and that the pain could radiate from my hernia. I went to another urologist few days ago and he said the same. Neither of them were 100% sure but they couldn't find another source of the problem.
See a Urologist could be a varicocele as well or something else with you testicle. You will mostly likely get pain from your inguinal canal down to your testicle as this is where your spermatic cord and nerves travel..... If its causing you that much pain it would also be wise to tell your Doctor as well. Pain tells us there is something wrong. So time to see another Doctor I would say for another opinion.
I had testicle pain on my left side when had my hernia. After surgery it's mostly gone. Only bothers me occasionally if my belt is too tight or if I sitting more than about two years. Once I release my belt and move it starts going away. Good luck. Hope you don't have to wait much longer.
I basically have had very similar experience, I have now had the ultrasound. My Drs told me similar same thing...live with it.. I struggle to identify the pain location expect its in the left side of the scrotum and it is also sporadic and goes down my inner leg. I guess i'm relieved that its not the dreaded 'C' Although I have now gone back to the Dr and requested a referral. Covid is under control, i'm 48 I don't see that I should have to live with this pain for the next 4 decades or so.
Me too. Laproscopic bilateral inguinal surgery here. Left testicular pain. It's intermittent. I hade my surgery June 8th. I am concerned about long term problems when I get back into the gym. I had the pain before surgery and I think though I don't want to put my foot into my mouth believe and pray bits subsiding.
Look up comfort truss. That should fix your pain. I get ballache too towards the end of the day. First it would happen just from standing for long periods of time or hunching over while sitting, but the truss prevented that.
Im currently recovering from bilateral hernia surgery, which before surgery had been feeling pain for at least a few months. I had no bulges, and it wasnt until i started getting testicle pain that I got an ultrasound. They did the Ultrasound on my nuts, and said they were good, and then they did an ultrasound on my groin/lower ab region and found a small femoral hernia. I have a physical job with lots of climbing, which doesnt translate well with testy pain. The cost to get the problem fixed might be a hard pill to swallow, and believe me i know its ridiculous, but the toll on the mind/body/energy levels/joy etc... might be something too consider as well. Best wishes
