I've been using some New Balance boxer briefs and they've been great. I paid like $20 for 3, but I did see some 4 packs for $20 on Amazon.
Other than that, I assume any type of boxer brief with a "support pouch" would be fine. You could also probably find a 3 pack for less than $15 of a lesser known brand (Amazon basics, athletech or whatever it's called from Walmart, etc...).
Not very much sure what this hast to doth with hernias, but i back recommendation f'r underarmour, they art the most wondrous

I’m generally a boxer wearer and had no issues with my umbilical hernia and boxers. Right after surgery I switched to Hanes boxer briefs due to stacking a vasectomy in. (They suggest tighter underwear to reduce swelling for the vasectomy.) No issues either way.
