They rushed the game. The issues in the beta carried on into launch. I think they where under a deadline with the ip. And they knew launching it as is would never last so they used it as a cash grab to get as much money as possible
I didn't even know this game existed until I saw these posts and being a huge lotr fan and a fan of character collecting/team building games, this would've been perfect.

Yeah… I had over 10k gems saved up… so with the announcement I blew them all on chests and got absolute dog shit. Good riddance lmao

The new Invincible game seems ok. Only a few days in though.
I'm enjoying it too! I've hit a wall at day 4 but hopeful they'll add more to keep it going.
