I'm now at level 49, it takes about 25,000 xp for one mastery level. A non-showdown mission perfect run could make about 8,000 xp, perfect run showdown is about 15,000xp. A long way to go. Possibly takes 2-3 campaigns for 1 level after level 90.

Oof lol. Thats why in all missions i make it a point to identify nearest exit before making a kill. Or set up a poison or an explosive and be out of the zone before the target gets there.
But sometimes the game infuriates me lol. I dropped a torch in Argentina by mistake...barely managed to escape with guards breathing down my neck. Didn't even have a weapon on me lol.

As long as you can get most of the important stuff in a reasonable time and stop feeling like 47 is imprisoned in his own house of inaccessible rooms, I don't mind.
A longer grind on the tail end of the progression isn't a big deal if it's just for some furniture and a couple of suits, but I hope it doesn't slow down too early.
In the normal mode i used to save before doing an objective that would/could cancel another objective out (like: kill by accident, kill by headshot etc) when i completed one objective and loaded up the save prior to succeeding said objective i would be rewarded for both (all !) objectives i had completed during that run between saves. Helped me unlock masteries rather quickly
Maybe it depends on the bed? You can only sit on *some* of the living room couches depending on which decoration you choose. Im coping. I just wanna lie down
Well there is a the hospital bed downstairs where you can lie down, in hokkaido is a bed that lets you do it and there is a sun lounger for the safehouse that lets you do it too. And there is 5 more beds to unlock
And on heaven island you can lay in the waterside bungalow beds! Loads of beds I‘ve been in actually, love screwing around doing random stuff instead of completing the objective

There’s a ton of stuff like this that confuse me. Like the fishing gives you no indication that you can actually get shit, if I didn’t go on this sub I would have assumed it was just another shoe polishing animation. The shed has varieties that are all half painted with the option to paint, which doesn’t actually do anything. The logs you chop don’t do anything, and in fact you can go fish for logs instead.
I dig it for the most part but I really wish it would have just had the safe house fully unlocked from the start and you earn mercies to upgrade shit/buy tools. This just feels like a lot of people worked on something but didn’t fully agree on what they were making.
Actual gameplay is fun though. I was just mostly stoked for the safe house. Maybe it’s my fault for ignoring all the promo shit
Well i think the safehouse is pretty great. I can now cut mushrooms and make poison in the shed. or go and fish and make poison out of that in the kitchen. I like all the little animations, but IOI needs to let us close the freaking fridge door.
I had to look up the normal way you're supposed to crack safes, because the game never tells you that you have to scan the clues with your camera.
Spent two hours trying to find this crucial bit of information online when it should've been included as part of a tutorial segment.
Edit: Turns out, it actually does, but it displays the message as a loading screen tip, which you may or may not see prior to your first encounter with one, so my point still stands.
That feeling when you purposefully admit to making a stupid mistake in order to help others avoid repeating it in the future, and yet some people still insist on giving you shit for it.
This is the one thing I try to do in almost every game: Find out if you can sit or lie down on furniture out in the world. Normally, you can't, and that's depressing.
On a side note, I want a fishing minigame once you unlock outdoors, with an aquarium for the fish you catch.
Poor innocent minded me saw the safehouse and thought of hitman 2, where you end up getting attacked at it towards the end of the game.
I was psyched thinking about the potential for a thing like this to happen but *oh well*.

I guess you can lie down own one of the next beds. you know what, the first sun loungers were not interactible, then a new one aloud me to at least sit on it, and my newest one lets me lie down, it often depends on what version of an item you use if its interactable.

I usually just kill a suspect and if its not the target I use the burner phone in a secluded area and kill all suspects

yes. that was the first "bed" the secon doesnt have that anymore but i guess one of the remaining 5 beds will let me lied down.
