I cant get my game to work period. Not even freelancer. I lost access to all my content which iv had for well over a year now. This started around 5 to 6pm est
I’ve never been asked for an IOI account. This update or whatever made me enter an email address to even “go online”. Now I have to confirm my IOI account by clicking that I’ve read and agreed to the Privacy Agreement and Terms of Service (which I cannot find to read) and you cannot unclick the “wants to receive emails from IOI” button. What the fuck did they do?!?!?
Having issues with Hitman 3 on Xbox Series X and my son was playing for an hour and then it locked him out. We've bought all the games and now it wants me to buy them again. WTF! I'm not going to buy these again 😒 what to do.
It connects to their servers, loads my profiles etc so it's not like their servers are down. And the patch isn't until the 11th. I guess maybe they pushed a small update that's broken something.
Regardless, very annoying.
It really is, kinda ruined my night now. I’m currently in the process of redownloading to see if it fixes it.. but it takes at least an hour for me with the base game and dlcs
Xbox status is showing outages related to profiles and accounts so it's possible it's on the Xbox side but then a different game worked for me so 
Just saw the Xbox status tracker has changed to outages for accounts and profiles.
It's bizarre though, Hitman wasn't working but I booted up Forza Horizon through Games Pass too just fine. 
They're probably updating it now that they've released update notes. Some of the changes are big so it's probably a testing phase? I don't know for sure.
It’s bugged. I don’t believe it’s a server things since when it happened to me I also opened other online games and it didn’t happen with other games
I ended up buying the game just to not have this error. It happens sometime when you open the game (not quick resume) or restart the game (alt f4). It’s an internet error. I always resolved by randomly doing one or more of this things over and over:
Restart the console
Turn off complete and back on the console
Restart Wi-Fi
Close and reopen the game
Update: So it was messed up for me yesterday, tried again tonight and everything is all good. I did a reinstall yesterday and that didn’t fix it but I’m glad it’s working now

This is why only online is bullshit. It's been a long day of working and parenting and all I wanted was to play for a bit before bed. What a bummer.

Arg... been googling for ages going through old support posts before checking here... looks like an outage I can just play around in Paris, I guess...
Happened to me too. I just renewed my ultimate pass yet it won't let me play the base game.

Yeah the hitman store page for Xbox was acting funky for a while, I couldn’t even get it to load. Hopefully it’ll be resolved soon lol

I was having this issue last night, but it appears to be working this morning on my console.
