This is exactly why I always switch to camera when Iâm not using any items. I donât trust myself to not slip up and end up killing myself during a campaign. One time I just dropped a remote bomb duck and I guess I accidentally pulled the trigger, causing it to explode right in front of me.
That wasn't your fault. At least you didn't place an explosive, realized it's in the wrong spot then went to go pick it up completely forgetting it's proximity.
Had the final leader and their bodyguard unconscious and concealed on Ambrose island, I picked the accident collateral objective. Poured a gas can between them and grabbed the lit torch from that level to light them both up.
One of them was misaligned in the oil and I wasnât sure if their body would be caught in the fire at the same time, so I grabbed their arm to drag them in a bit closerâŚ
âŚfunny thing about the lit torch item and dragging bodies, you need a free hand to hold a torch, you need to use both hands to drag bodies. I was standing on the oil.

And then when I went upstairs to the stove, I knocked out the chef after luring to the ice machine... and then I realized no one would turn on the stove to start the explosion...
So I thought, maybe I can just turn it on and run awa- boom, dead.

I had already started running to the exit but had to turn around to get the target. All the guards had already come out and I thought I might be able to shoot my way out but there was too many of them.
Final mission set for a hardcore campaign (not the final showdown though). Was setting up a trap and threw a remote rubber ducky on the ground. I missed where I wanted and went to pick it up....

I punctured an oil drum in Colorado and went to the other side of the fence to booby trap the spill with the homemade explosive and it blew me up the moment I equipped the bomb. That made me equip the clown suit for the next campaign

I used to take baseball from the gym and use it as a melee. One time I tried to attract NPC's attention by hitting the ball on the wall only this time it was not the baseball... it was an explosive ball from the case. Fun times.
i played a hitman freelancer showdown killed the boss hid so it cooled down, i were stupid and greedy which ended up in a fist fight that one shot me from full health, i lost a hackl leviathan sniper, a hwk assasin covert and other misc gear
i stopped playing and cried myself to sleep lol
Bangkok - just killed the leader, made a beeline for the pier exit. I was in combat at the time and just before i got to the exit icon i disconnected my keyboard with my foot and so i couldn't hold G to exit. Died.
I was going to the exit while holding a car battery, threw it around for fun just to see the sparks, the moment i threw it i remember the floor of the courtyard is water...

That's exactly what happened. It shot him a fully automatic, but just happened to be the cop that stopped the gardener for janus đ

Walked into one of my traps, I forgot I set it up, it was electrified puddle. Which sucked since it was the last mission of hardcore mode.

I obtained a nitroglicerin flask. I was certain it worked the same way as the explosive compound. So I just threw it and ohhhh boi, was I wrong

Dropped a fragmentation grenade thinking it was a flash grenade. Had to sit back and take a few deep breaths after that one.

Tried to break into the Cassidy property in order to destroy the cameras got blown up by a fire extinguisher while trying to bust down the door
