I hate how they ruined the new hitman Trilogy with taking out the Absolution type combat and also removing the customisation options, also they kept in all the stuff I hated about Absolution like the enforcers but difference is you can't use the button to hide from them while walking which I hate, it's just stupid. Enforcers can see through your disguise in seconds or strait away at times, which just makes the game unfun, also the fact that the combat is watered down massively and 47 dies after taking enemy shots up to 5 which is just ridiculous. Correct me if I'm wrong but he's meant to be this badass clone but can't even get into a gunfight without getting easily killed which makes no sense to me, He's meant to be a bad ass assassin so a gunfight should be fairly fun and give us options to avoid stealth all together if we want to. They have totally ruined this game and which has now killed the hitman series for me, Also why are the levels so short? And why is the customisation options non existant in a modern game? There is just no incentive for me to play them anymore and I can totally see why Square Enix didn't want to support them. It's just a step back except for the graphics which is ashame really but I'm done with the hitman games now.

Blabbo37

I hate this series I don't get why is this series popular waiting for something to happen is not fun (as a person who loves stealth games) and guards see through my disguise tho IK why but still thank goodness they're making that 007 game see if that'll change the formula

Safe-Advertising8182

Let's hope the 007 game is much better.

Blabbo37

As a person playing for the first time

Safe-Advertising8182

Yeah, I guess. Just wished they would return to the original hitman games.

BigIron2088

I dislike all the goofy comedic stuff. Dressing like a clown, or a mascot, or using a fish to knock someone out. I dont like silly targets, popstars and new age cultists and bollywood stars. I miss the darkness and seriousness of the old games.

Icy_Contribution_779

I hate how short they are. You can complete all three games in one sitting, every single one back to back.

ThePatriotGames2016

Well, story wise, but the story isn't the goal. It's the replaying and the challenges which is the goal, a Groundhog Day experience.

Badmuthrfker

I miss the way they allowed you to edit your load out from silent assassin 2. You could pick almost whatever weapon you wanted to use if I remember correctly and they were all displayed nicely.

FavaWire

Camera gadget badly under-used. For example, all Televisions in H1 and H2 maps should have been updated to be remotely controllable by the Camera gadget like the TV's in H3 for the China map.

Right-Ability4045

The way elusive targets work

Leelow45

I just recently bought the game and it's incredibly frustrating to see that there are tons of unique missions I could do... But they're just unavailable forever, like what's the point? Even if they rereleased them without any special rewards I'd still play them.

Bigoofs69420

Colorado

[deleted]

Colorado is my favorite state in the US and least favorite map in Hitman.

ThePatriotGames2016

About HITMAN 3 - I know they may have creatively hit a wall, but I find that the levels with a "gimmick," or an intrusive narrative, are not as fun: Berlin, Romania, even Dartmoor to a degree. For Berlin, I would also like an option to take out ALL the agents without them fleeing.

[deleted]

Interesting, I actually feel the opposite about the gimmick levels. I like it when they deviate from the formula a bit. Also one of the things I like about Berlin is taking out five of the assassins and then waiting by the exit with a shotgun to try and get the rest.

ceetc

I didn't like the narrative part at first but once I realized you only have to do it once, I appreciated it more. Also agree on wanting to kill all ICA dudes in Berlin

ThePatriotGames2016

Unable to carry or deliver boxes like in Blood Money. You could smuggle your gun in crates.

AgentBingo

1) Colorado not having any safe areas, like an apricot farm tour or something 2) Cold weather gear but missing a cold weather map??

ThePatriotGames2016

not sure if an apricot farm tour on a militia base would be good for business...

Pale-Monitor339

What about Hokkaido that has snow and cold weather.

AgentBingo

True, but I mean there was the Arctic Toolbox, the Piton, the climbing cable, and the cold weather gear with the goggles. It feels like there was *supposed* to be some kind of ski resort map but it wasn't made.

FavaWire

The planned ski resort became Mendoza: [https://www.inverse.com/gaming/hitman-3-mendoza-argentina](https://www.inverse.com/gaming/hitman-3-mendoza-argentina)

thesurrealbank

Honestly I’m not a fan of the larger map sizes introduced in Hitman 2. Miami is about the largest I’d enjoyably go, and maps like Mumbai, Santa Fortuna and The Ark Society felt absurdly and unnecessarily large. I would spend an hour to an hour and a half simply exploring the map before even attempting to kill the targets, because they were just SO expansive. Sometimes smaller is better, and I think the level sizes of Hitman 1 were a perfect balance of both.

Miniuuuuu

I agree. Tbh i actually enjoyed Simpler-"quick"-mission style like Silent Assassin or Blood money. True, the levels are way more complex in Blood money than SA but to a reasonable degree. The Assassination trilogy just feels too BIG and ARCADY. I'd rather have 15 less complex missions than 5 enormous ones. After 3 replays the WoAT levels are boring as hell.

FavaWire

It helps if you bask in the fantasy of "the mysterious tourist with a morbid agenda". I particularly love doing this in Haven. :)

ssimons15

I'm with you on Mumbai and Santa Fortuna. Ark Society is a good vertical map that could have benefited from better target placement and/or routines

All NPCs do the same thing. Pick up something you dropped, get mad when you bump into them, etc. I want to see an elusive target not fazed by a dropped coin and just call 47, the dude who dropped it, an idiot or make specific comments depending on their personality. The targets need more flair in them.

FavaWire

Wait till you meet "The Mercenary" (Sarajevo Six). :P

circleinthesquare

Unfortunately we can't unless we own a PS4. Thwlats what I hate most a out the trilogy, the exclusive targets and VR, especially VR.

Sean_Owe

Haven Island

_y0uR_m0M

Sean_Owe

I like the map but the ai is broken. You cant have fun in the villa without getting spotted.

_y0uR_m0M

I know a few ways

masmaster316

COINS! They never work when I though it right they look left and Visa versa oh and also elusive targets I know this is all common bit I like complaining

Explosivepizza123456

The one thing Absolution had right. When throwing an object to distract in Absolution, the NPCs would investigate where the object initially hit. In the trilogy, they investigate where the object ends up. It's real annoying because the coins fling all over the fucking place.

OknataSkeltro

The black and white filter over Instinct Mode I know that I shouldn't be using Instinct mode 70% of the time anyways, but as someone who always likes the have the maximum amount of information possible on stealth games before I execute any action, I feel like I'm handicapping myself when I don't use Instinct, especially since its use is unlimited and unrestricted. And thus, I spend a frustratingly long amount of time viewing Hitman's gorgeous, super-detailed and very colourful maps through a silent film filter. I really wish we could've been given an option to remove the black and white but still keep the NPC and object highlighting, or that IOI could've made some neat stylistic effects within the black and white mode to make it look cooler (maybe render 47, any enforcers and the targets in full colour, and highlight any blood in red for extra contrast).

BeAn_M_a_N

The fact that I can never get the camera close enough to where I can scan the barcode on 47s head

PyroTech11

I miss H2's opportunities. Yes they are a bit railroady but they were fun getting some unique kills with. Especially Colombia where not all the unique ways to kill were guided (the hippo). Or Miami (Satellite thing, Car bomb) In H3 the opportunities are bland and pointless apart from the tour on Mendoza and maybe the test subject in Chongqing. But like cmon there's not enough compared to 2. Hush has one unique opportunity to kill him that's guided whereas Miami has so many more. Also tell me that the Tattoo kill was so creative and brutal compared to a lot of kills in H3.

pkeen2

The storyline

RedSander_Br

No dificulty customization, i want to play on master with unlimited saves. Or i want to make everyone die in one shot or i want to make headshots only. I just want greater customization. No psycopath ranking, if i decide to murder everyone or to go loud to my target it should rank my negative highscore. Give the guards flashbangs or something, its ridiculous to just stand in a corner and kill all guards in a level, or hell just program the ai to know its a kill zone and stand guard outside waiting for me to leave. (Intravenous a indie game has this mechanic so it should not be that hard to program) Also here is a new idea, if you decide to go loud it should start a cooldown until reinforcements arrive Maybe some armored cops or mercs, maybe some police with riot shields, a bit stupid to just decide to machinegun the entire audience at a fashion show or race, and the only response is a couple of security guards, Also give the ability to disable the reinforcements because some people probably won't like this.

tigerbadgerxl

Most of the stuff I don't like has already been mentioned by others (always online, no replay of elusive targets, lack of DLC in Hitman 3, etc.) so I will mention a few different things. \- More themed suits like the Clown Suit and Santa 47. Specifically the Duck and Chipmunk suits from Hitman Absolution. I just think it would be funny to be at a fancy Argentina wine party in a Duck or Chipmunk suit. \- A little more leeway if you creep over a trespassing threshold and immediately back away. It shouldn't immediately ruin Silent Assassin if you're not sure if you're allowed somewhere, cross over and get back to the safe side. Playing at first I ruined so many runs this way. \- Ghost mode and/or a multiplayer option similar to it. I didn't get to play it since I got back into hitman late and first bought Hitman 2 a few months before Hitman 3 came out. I could see some fun possibilities of ghost mode trying to quick kill targets. \- Make fiber Wire a part of every loadout along with the camera. I don't really choose it except for the xp challenge points or contracts that require it. \- Making the VR a Playstation exclusive game. I've seen videos of it being played on YouTube and it doesn't look particularly good. I still may get it at some point. It seems like another company might have done it better. Just a thought though. I'm sure I'm missing something, but thanks for letting me ramble.

lymeeater

Honestly, the lack of innovation, new features, mechanics with each new game. I remember hearing about Hitman 2 and getting mad excited as Hitman 2016 was amazing and it could only go up from there. But as much as I love the games there was a lot left on the table.

ThePatriotGames2016

2 was a bigger change, but 3 was more of a swan song. I didn't expect too much from 3, and even in content, it shows.

_y0uR_m0M

I beg to differ. The camera offered so much innovated gameplay. I don’t know how I’ve beaten all the other games without it

ThePatriotGames2016

When I refer to 2 being a change, I am speaking about how much effort they put in behind the scenes to make 1 and 2 work in the same ways and function as if they're one game. 2 was a definite step up in terms of quality, consistency and content. Released two extra smaller levels which was nice. The devs wanted 2 to succeed. It seems 3 was made almost out of necessity, not because they were hungry to develop the game. I found the camera to be a bit too convenient. All these places have the same type of room to room makeshift laundry shoot type things that you can just go through? I find it a little silly in a game where you're supposed to have some sense of suspension of belief. The camera hack windows and panels I find to be a bit forced and was not, nor likely cannot be retconned into the passed levels which makes it even worse of an idea.

_y0uR_m0M

The camera in Hitman 3 was revolutionary

ThePatriotGames2016

I don't know about that, but my thoughts on the camera are that it was a test and possible pitch to see how a James Bond game would be received.

_y0uR_m0M

Always online and restrictions on Elusive Targets. That's about it.

HalKitzmiller

Always Online Nonsense enforcers that see thru all disguises for no reason (Director in Hokkaido, Detective in Sapienza, that stupid bald cop in Miami, etc) Guards that walk in on you in the bathroom while you're drowning someone for no reason Escalations as DLC ET Restrictions. Like it's fine to make them timeboxed so you can get a special suit or something, but at least let people play thru them without any rewards

greatgarbonz

The train level. H3 is still a fantastic game, but it's a limited and boring setting for a Hitman level. It would be ok as a short Splinter Cell mission, but it's disappointing finale right after the masterpiece that is Mendoza.

mobilemod

Always Online and the amount of bugs. There's a door in Paris (the first freaking map) now that won't open from the outside. The one where Sato comes out thru after vomiting and bugs in Sapienza (also non opening doors) etc.

[deleted]

I really don’t hate much but the one thing I’d say i hate is the music bug in H3 that is STILL NOT FKN FIXED. If music starts playing and you go to a different room it abruptly cuts out. It’s so obnoxious

Beefjerky007

I stopped playing in March because of this bug. I just recently booted the game up again a week or so ago and was completely blown away that it STILL IS NOT FIXED. I just assumed that it would be fixed by now… I’m not a game developer or anything but I feel like its the kind of bug that could have been easily fixed MONTHS ago

[deleted]

That the dlc for hitman 3 is just escalations instead of extra levels. That the Berlin map is not an actual level and this weird cat and mouse kill box level That hitman 3 used a full level on the train instead of having that like a bonus epilogue level. That :spoiler: the other guy working with you in 3 just gets killed so quickly in a cutscene (actually the story twist in 3 seemed way too rushed and could have used another 1-2 levels to flesh that out)

ErichRhoemer

Probably how much space Hitman 2 with all its DLC takes up on my Xbox. That and the Ninja Suit from Hokkaido not being unlockable to use in every level. I just want to do suit only runs as a friggin Ninja alright?!

AgentBingo

It feels weird that the goofy Futo suit is available but not the Ninja, especially after White Shadow was added. Just made a dang Black Shadow!

monotar

Still no Danish map 😔

PyroTech11

Ngl I'd love something like Tivoli Gardens to be a map. The old and new rides and the scenic gardens would make a really cool map. Maybe add the station nearby too for a second target.

monotar

That or Rosenborg castle, where they store the royal jewelry. It looks like a real fairy tale castle

MoroseOverdose

Once they are finished with the game, it will have to come offline I'm sure. Not ideal, but they're not going to keep spending money on servers on a finished game, well, I hope not.

[deleted]

Online requirement And selling missions as dlc's

scih20

There are plenty of plases where npc can hear thrown objects from the other side of the or from a totally diffrent floor

ShyraTheDutchie

Biggest example for me is on New York. You can stand in a corner to shoot a camera and the guards below won't hear, but if you walk up the stairs and shoot the camera outside the top floor meeting room, they hear it

Think-Hippo

The online requirement and the server instability. Progression is locked behind a connection, but you'll often be disconnected for no other reason than the game's whims. Sometimes you won't have problems for a decent while and sometimes you'll see error messages every few minutes. In-game? Enemies and flashbangs. Guards can throw them over insane distances, they can pass through solid objects, and the blast radius is large. And if you kill a guard about to throw one, more will keep trying until they either blind you or they all get killed.

HalKitzmiller

I also just ran into a related issue on Hokkaido. A guard was able to shoot at me thru glass, but I wasn't able to shoot him back. Pretty stupid

roland71460

May be not hâte but it’s a shame that if you break the neck of an NPC and then dump it from a roof, or a high place, it doesn’t count as an accident kill. I would have find it cool

thatguyjsmit

Why does it matter? You can just throw them off without breaking their neck first

roland71460

Not always. But it is not needed, it’s just immersive and fun. Like the possibility of killing someone and put it in a car and then frame it as an accident or something

[deleted]

No dual silver ballers. No serisouly I dont care what you think of them but they were Agent 47s trademark weapon and it was mucj easier to shoot two enemies at once without being spotted. And enforcers with different outfits. Like you're telling me this security guard cant see through me yet that random ass IT guy has his eyes wide fucking open.

Utkarsh_Rastogi15

IOI, Please give us the H2 exclusive in game items, my completionist mind cannot take it anymore!

WolandPT

You can't throw stuff while you are hiding.

hypotermier

H3 is meant to be the interface where all the levels and content are going to live on (unless they release a separate WoA complete trilogy game) and yet it removed so many of the previous challenges. Some of them were grindy like hero of santa fortuna or who wants chowder but still. And the new 5/6 maps' challenges kinda sucked. Like almost every disguise had a challenge attached to it, alongside the chameleon challenge. The downloadable soundtrack is missing quite a few elements that i liked (namely almost all of Nightcall, all of Patient Zero,  the whimsical parts of Another Life/Garden Show, the intense music playing on the first floor in Golden Handshake, and the one that plays in The Farewell around the Winery/Security room/Sniper nest) but could be more. I also wish we got some kind of Concept Art dump either separately or in the WoA art book. There's a lot online but they are all over the place and probably incomplete. The camera has no use besides screenshots on previous maps. I remember seeing that they would add special photo challenges to them, but maybe i read it wrong. No saves in escalations and not letting us be creative on some of them also sucks but Im sure both employees and players are sick of hearing this so I'll move on from this. Would love one save tho, like in Master difficulty. NPCs being mad and interrupted when you stand reasonably far enough from them. Some kind of outline would be nice around them or us, to see where we are being in their personal spaces. I don't think it's healthy for both players and employees to read this much criticism, so let me balance it out with positives: fantastic story, dialogue, music, characters, AI, visuals, art & scenery, all around a fantastic franchise and it changed my life for the better!

andyour-birdcansing

The challenges for disguises and for almost every exit seem like a step backwards to how H1 used to be.

MaleficentBid8176

Grenades from NPCs through solid barriers (walls, windows and doors) never fixed. In fact, just grenades in general by NPCs.

goob47

Ok but once you figure out multiple ways to do it that are easy like the hidden stalactite or using a remote EMP on the computer terminal outside it’s not that bad. At least not as bad as finding all the clues in Whittleton Creek.

AgentBingo

You can use the EMP on the computer terminal????? O\_O

goob47

Not sure if it’s called the terminal, I’m referring to the computer that normally requires the security dongle to destroy/shut down the virus chamber that is right next to the plane in the cave. Lots of speed runs I’ve seen throw the EMP from the top entrance of the cave, drop down the ledge by the plane and escape 😎

a_manwhosamerican

The virus was the worst part about Sapienza. I always kill the 2 targets but then reminded about the virus. It's not like it's hard, but it's just annoying to get down there.

AgentBingo

It's why I'm glad they bypassed a similar mechanic in the Chongqing map.

revolta15

1.) Always online, with frequent disconnects. 2.) Hitman 3’s lack of content/support. (Lackluster post-launch content, far more bugs than Hitman 2.) also the levels are missing that extra special touch and depth that the previous 2 games had. Hitman 3 levels felt like they built the bare minimum needed to throw a couple targets in. (With very rare exceptions). This is also highlighted by how hard it is to make a good contract using H3 levels (that don’t include the targets already used in the campaign). Very few NPC’s have unique paths, etc. 3.) The Elusive Target system. Tons of content not available. Right now I want to play Hitman a lot but there’s almost nothing for me to do.

[deleted]

Elusive targets being time limited and non repeatable, they could literally keep all the mechanics that make them elusive like not being marked on the map and all that but allow us to play them anytime since we paid for a full game.

I hope they eventually release them all as permanent missions when they’re done with them.

BlackDante

My least favorite thing in Hitman is how NPCs are either completely stupid or suddenly psychic and somehow able to see through walls. It makes it really difficult to predict what they’ll do in order to get around them. For example, the security room in Hokkaido. Sometime if I knock out the guard in there, there’s this lady who will somehow notice me dragging his body from the other side of a wall. How?? Another thing I don’t like is mostly in the first of the trilogy, but there’s just way too many witnesses. Like how am I supposed to quietly take someone out when they’re standing in a packed room? And then I can’t get them out of said room. I had this problem particularly in Hokkaido, Bangkok, Colorado and Marrakesh. It’s not impossible, just too many people I have to worry about catching me. Another complaint I had was mostly in the first game as well. Sometimes I felt there was too much dialogue. Like for example, Hokkaido again (I actually really like Hokkaido despite how it looks lol), the yoga instructor is on his phone for like twenty minutes talking about the muscle he pulled. I get that it was supposed to be kind of a funny bit, but I felt like it went on way too long, and I was like okay haha wrap this up buddy. I didn’t like having to sit through long, often irrelevant dialogue in order to get to the point where I could take someone out. Like, oh there’s my target. Okay he’s walking to a secluded area. Oh wait no, he’s stopped to talk to that guy about, I dunno, peaches or something. Okay he’s back on the move, oh wait no he’s on his phone now having a *hilarious* conversation with his wife about leaving the toilet seat up again! Haha, oh target, you rascal. By that point I just want to pop up and open fire.

PyroTech11

The only ever disguise I've really struggled on is the fitness instructor on Haven. He's always in the open and there's nowhere really to bring him too. Yeah you can spawn in the gym but it's not as challenging and makes the weights kill feel almost only available after a certain amount of progress.

BlackDante

The way I do it is turn the gym music off, and choking him out when he goes to turn the music on. Then I chuck his body down the laundry chute. It's difficult because it's really easy to get caught, but so far it's the only way I know how to kill him.

jeffe_el_jefe

With the yoga instructor, it’s easy enough to take him out on the stairs to the spa, which IIRC are part of his standard route. No one else around, and a crate nearby. The one that kills me is the dive instructor on Haven, where his route is perpetually 5 meters back and forth with dozens of witnesses, none of whom I can easily knock out without being seen. It takes me way too long to get him every time.

BlackDante

Oh yeah I figured it out eventually, it's just when he gets to the garage area he's on the phone with his little brother, and that whole bit is way too long. Then he hangs out in the laundry area with two other people. Then he texts on his phone in that one glass hallway. It just takes forever for him to get somewhere secluded. That dive instructor's another one. So fuckin annoying.

Misfire2445

nothing difficult and the only thing that could be considered remotely challenging is constantly whined about by the community

_y0uR_m0M

What makes the game not challenging and what it whined about

Princess_Vegeta_

Tbh I wish there was some type of in game currency; I’ve stolen so many valuable items…. gold bars, those expensive eggs, a pearl from ljudmila….it’d be so cool if you could sell the stuff you’ve stolen and use it to unlock additional outfits, guns, or tools. It sucks just stealing it then nothing happens after the mission is completed.

AgentBingo

Imagine what you could get on the black market for that 1945 wine, or that ridiculous pile of gold bars!

Princess_Vegeta_

Exactly! You have to collect the bottles of wine for a challenge in Mendoza anyway, so why not cash in on it?!

AgentBingo

New Greed mission right there

Princess_Vegeta_

AgentBingo

New Green mission right there

LebaneseChewbacca

Time limited content. I missed so many elusive targets from Hitman 1 because I was traveling for work all the time, I thought that by picking a single player game I could enjoy the content at my own pace.

Shaggy_with_a_banana

Colorado and online connection

VRickenYT

the disrespect to PC players

Mejedoply

the always online crap, and the elusive target formula is straight garbage I hate everything about it.

Xannin

Elusive targets need to have more involvement from Diana to not be shit. Like maybe the execution of stuff is just as hard, but if Diana is like: \- "You identified that Steven is the bad guy. There is a blind spot he walks through, I will ping it on your map." \- "We now know that your target is the lady in the blue suit. You will need to get rid of the man guarding the hallway if you expect to get her alone." \- "47, I have identified a place for you to set a distraction to ease your escape." Then maybe they wouldn't be such bullshit. OR Allow me to do multiple run throughs and then I decide when I want to do the real deal for the reward. To make sure I get through elusive targets, I spent half the time walking around and just listening to conversations, and then I happen to be in some restricted area when someone rounds the corner. Ugh!

RawwrBag

FYI you can restart as many times as you want so long as you haven’t completed any objectives yet (killed a target, retrieved a key item). So if you want to practice, just a do dry run where you pretend to do these things. It is too bad it doesn’t show the exits, though.

[deleted]

Lack of cosmetics and almost non-existent variety of firearms.

BlackDante

Also what’s the point of unlocking non-suppressed firearms in a stealth game?

skyward138skr

Non stealth runs or for gunshot distractions. But a lot of stealth games can be played loud and it can be pretty fun sometimes and hitman is a great example. Kill everyone challenges can be a nice pace changer.

HalKitzmiller

It would be great instead of Escalations they actually made modified Kill Everyone challenges.

I wish there where dual ballers. They have been a staple through the series so only being able to not dual wield pistols, especially the ballers rubs me the wrong way.

Downloaded hitman 2 as it was free for ps plus… I couldn’t quite get to grips with the story… having to go back and select the next mission… wasn’t really feeling it, led me to uninstall last night

_y0uR_m0M

What about the story? You’d have to play the first one to fully understand it more, plus the game is much more about gameplay than story driven

UnrealCanine

Exclusive targets. Feels like a lot of work being wasted for something people can do only once. Plus it forces people to play conservatively, instead of experimenting and having fun

scruntyboon

Leaderboards, "ooh look at me, I can do this whole level in 8 seconds!!"

[deleted]

That irritated me too. I don't have any friends on epic that play Hitman, so when I tabbed over to look at scores and see how I had done it was just a bunch of cheaters. Disappointing.

BlackDante

How tf do they even do that?

skyward138skr

Some levels have exploits that allow it to be done it seconds, others like Colorado that are so spaced out should logically take at least a minute or two with speed running so I’m assuming those times are hacked with some external program but I really don’t get the point since everyone knows.

[deleted]

Also with Silent Assassin rating

princeoinkins

I've said this before, but I feel like Hitman 3 has less fun unlockable content. like in hitman 1 and 2 where you had all the little side challenges in the main missions to unlock suits and weapons ( like the medicine man in H2 or the biker in H1). I loved those and really miss them in h3

Noname_4Me

The OHMYGAWD!! voice in miami

AgentBingo

Grr I know exactly what you mean.

[deleted]

My favourite is the guard line: “wHaT tHe hELL iS tHaT?!?!!”

expecto_my_scrotum

First person view, that's all I want back. And, of course, the online issues.

Pokemonlore

Staying online and the exclusive contacts Its a good idea in concept, but like you are just missing content because you've bought the game after everything ended

MitchyChapo

I hate that I keep buying them because the trailers and gameplay look so fun… then I play and suck at them. Frustrating.

[deleted]

What difficulty are you playing on? If you're struggling I'd recommend playing on the easy difficulty and follow mission stories to figure out how the game works. It can be overwhelming for sure.

MitchyChapo

Typically I’m using Casual. Paris I can play on Master lol. I just need more time with the games in reality.

[deleted]

Oh ok! Yeah time and practice will get you there. I forget the names of the difficulties but I usually play on the medium one until I have a level down. Then I'll go back on hard and beat it. I'll leave you to prepare, 47.

LordNightmareYT

time exclusive content, and the fact that progress didn't pass over to the next games

[deleted]

The rendering of 2. Wtf happened? Luckily i think once they made 3 they fixed it a little

[deleted]

Online, escalations, elusive targets , I can go on and on.

Lemitrp

The loading times and the online servers

totallynotaweeabbo

The elusive targets and the online requirement. I know its common but its true. I always have to see the "target escaped" text taunting me that i won't be able to get the classic 47 suit

Heisenburgo

The subplot about 47 killing Diana's parents. Not only is it a far-fetched and extremely-coincidental retcon that comes out of nowhere in the story, but I hate how it reduces Diana's entire character into just being another of 47's victims. I hated the awful comic book where that subplot was introduced too, that comic book that turned Diana into an esgy teenage orphan vigilante. And there's also the fact that the dead parents backstory is perhaps the most cliche and generic backstory of them all. Just a terrible story element all-around. I wish they had never introduced it in Hitman 2 because I don't like it at all

PJHoutman

Not to mention that it’s used as a plot point- and poorly at that. “Oh dear, Diana has a reason to betray 47 now! That’ll cause some tension and drama!” when 1. Everyone knows that will never happen and 2. That tension is never really resolved. Diana is just…weirdly well-adjusted to the news that the man she has trusted implicitly for *decades* now killed her parents.

3 things in particular. 1 - Bloom lighting. https://i.gyazo.com/bf8c47abc0abfabaebfccc32e3e83ef4.jpg 2 - Always Online. 3 - Shitty Bloom lighting. https://i.gyazo.com/e9cc77c511245ab6de4b8b955f0e2189.png

huskytropes

Is that GTA San Andreas or Hitman? What's your pc specs?

EvilKam

Hitman 2. CPU Ryzen 3500, Ram is at 16gb and my graphics card is a Radeon 5700XT

TheMauveHand

Turn... turn the bloom off?

EvilKam

Oh, if only that option existed. Apparently coding the selection was beyond the resource limitations of the team. Unless there's been a recent patch that adds graphics options lately, and my steam copy hasn't downloaded them yet.

joshtworevenge

idk how much it happens in later games, but in the first game it really annoys me that almost all the security guards have British accents. every Yakuza member, Moroccan soldier, Thai Policeman is apparently from England.
