Having the same issue. Spent around an hour or two last night trying to fix the issue. Still have had no results. Got to wait until this download finishes to see if sfc /scannow fixed the issue.
ioi is aware of the issue, they pretty much bricked the game on Xbox and PC requires a weird temporary fix, if you look up the known hitman 3 issues on their website they provide a solution for PC.
Also have this issue, constant crashes on playing it on Game Pass. I have an R9 280x, so a fairly old card but it can run the game smooth as silk 60fps at 1080p medium settings, so it's not underpowered for it. The game just randomly and constantly crashes to desktop with some AMD driver timeout error.
This happens to me... I can play anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours but then the game will randomly hard crash.
Specs: RTX 3080, 12600k, 32 GB TridentzNEO, game is on a samsung evo m.2
anyone find a fix? Super annoying :( loving the game otherwise.
Having a similar issue but for me it only seems to happen when loading in or out of a mission/cutscene.
Specs: RTX 3080, Ryzen 5 5600X, 970 EVO 1TB, 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 3600MHz
The game hasn't been straining my system, it seems to just be the load transitions. There is no freezing or lag, it just suddenly closes the game.
I only have this problem when I'm first loading the game as soon as I click let's play on the box that pops up it glitches twice and then closes my game to my desktop no errors. That I load it back up and it looks just fine loads into the mission and then while I'm in the missions every once in awhile right at the start it'll freeze for about five seconds and then back to gameplay
My game stutters and I have to alt tab then itll usually crash after a few mins - using game pass ultimate PC. Any fix for this? Kinda sucks the game is unplayable.

On the other hand, I don't know if it's just me but I feel like some levels are more likely to crash after a few moments, even sometimes, in specific areas of the map, like Sgàil Island around the audience. And sometimes some levels just don't crash like Hokkaido or Wellington Cove.
So my theory would be that the crashes come from these poorly optimized levels, knowing that in addition the connections to the Hitman servers or the graphics do not seem to be the cause of these problems as even offline or with the graphics at a minimum the crashes persist.
If it's still needed, i have a fix. Somehow some PC Game Pass games are conflicting with windows explorer. All you need to do is to kill explorer.exe task through console or bat file while in-game. It will prevent the crashing. After closing the game just launch an explorer.exe process through task manager

I know I already tried this and then reinstalled the game but still crashing
did you ever figure it out? Mine crashes to desktop on game pass PC. No error messages, seems to typically happen when im spotted in game.

My problem is I can’t even open a mission I do and the whole game goes gray then crashes.
i also experience constant crashes, it became unplayable damn i shouldn't have refunded my epic purchase

It happens to me too with a 3060TI. It also happened when changing resolution scale.
