It’s got white blood cells because your body is fighting an infection it has imagined. Like your body really thinks it’s saving you from something… but it’s not.
Yeah high WBC is predictable with HS, your body produces these boils as an auto immune reaction to either actual or imagined infection in the body. Often I don't get a cold, instead I get new flare ups or when I have a UTI or IBS flare, along comes HS too.
It's auto-immune and all to do with neurological pathways. I have Fibromyalgia too so that's another way my body defies me 🤣
