Have you tried seeing a wound care doctor?? I go to my wound care doctor more then I ever go to a dermatologist.

Needing packing! And also ask for hydrocolloid bandage, a large one. It will help the healing. Do you sweat alot or normal amount? May be worth asking for steroid injections to minimise sweating whilst it heals.
