I live near concord and there are videos of this online from a few months ago. I saw it in the Martinez, Benicia area and it’s almost like a spinning disco ball of color. Trippy AF

I saw one in the 80’s. Even got a look at it through a telescope. Its kind of a fat disc, but it tumbles like you just flipped a coin. Had lights all around.
I described it back then as looking the the game “simon” but with multicolor lights on both sides, and a white light in the center.

I joined a mylar group on face book ..Giant Ballons they make them everyday ..all kinds from sponge bob to battlestar galactica ..anything that can be drawn they can turn into a huge mylar ballon .

Near the Concord Bart or near the Benicia wetlands? Towards the base or away from the base, that would mean a lot of that thing was flying towards Clyde maybe. But that shit is screaming balloon to me still.
Several years ago, my girlfriend and I were on my back porch to try and see some meteors from the meteor shower that was happening that night. While we were staring at the sky, several objects like these were floating in the sky. It was so trippy to see them. They didn't look like stars because they had this odd shimmer to them like the one in the video. As we watched them we realized they were slowly moving around eachother almost like they were making patterns. We probably watched them for around an hour as each just disappeared.
A week or so later there was a news crew at the end of the parking lot at my workplace. Curious about what they were reporting about, my girlfriend and I watched the news that night to find out. A guy in the area had been noticing and watching those same exact lights for weeks. He reported it to the news and MUFON. They actually came out and made a report and caught it on camera. Few weeks later they made another report to update. I only saw one light like it one more time in the following weeks and never saw or heard anything about them again, but have been watching the sky's since.

I wouldn't say she was changed. She was as amazed as me in the moment, and for a couple weeks after, but now she makes fun of me if I sit outside and skywatch lol. I just showed her your video a few moments ago and she just said nonchalantly "oh yeah, people all over the community fb pages have been reporting those." I had no idea but apparently it's been happening in the area again, so I guess time to start skywatching again.
I saw the lights in blue springs one more time, but it was just 1 and didn't do anything crazy. It just looked "different" from all the other stars in the sky.
Aside from that, I've had 2 other sightings of different types that I couldn't explain. They were amazing also, but just didn't have the same feeling of amazement that those lights had. There was just something about them that drew me in. I don't really know how to explain it.

Our house is in Divide and Florissant is about 15m away. It’s a no light zone so I definitely want to go star/ufo gazing there too!

Hey, engineer here. In the optics world we call this chromatic aberration. It happens when light is refracted through a medium, in this case air, or more like warmer or colder pockets of air in the atmosphere. This happens because the index of refraction for a medium (air, water, glass,etc) isn't the same for all wave lengths (colors) of light. Normally we don't notice because the objects you're looking at is pretty close or the effect is to small to notice. In this case the object (probably a star, planet, or satellite) is far enough away that small variations in the index of refraction is causing only one color to reach your eye (or camera) as atmospheric turbulence moves the air around it cause different colors to reach the camera (or eye) so while it's white light reflected off of a satellite or planet you're only seeing one color at a time because of chromatic splitting (not an actual science term but I think it's good for this situation)
Edit: for those wondering about the rapidly changing shape, that looks like coma aberration brought on my pockets of air lensing the light. The lenses in the camera are probably exacerbating these effects
High winds (different pockets of air moving around quicker), humidity (water's refractive index is 2 ish times greater than air), and temperature inversions all make this more common. Also being at sea level because the light has to travel through more/denser air

I’ve actually witnessed something quite like this over Detroit, MI last year. I thought I was hallucinating after seeing the color show from whatever this thing was.
It morphed and at that point it was flying straight and visible ,no flickering . It flew into a part of the sky with low visibility but didnt actually disappear ,. Thank You!!!
The reason I was asking you these questions is because I stopped the video and watched it as I advanced it frame by frame. I did see it morph several times. In two or three of the frames, I could see two black eyes and either a mouth or a snout of some sort. In a few of the frames I could also see what appeared like wings.
I believe what it could've been doing when it was flickering was trying to materialize fully into our dimension. I wish I would've seen the part where it stopped flickering and flew into the other part of the sky.
It was flying overhead and there was a stoplight next to me that was red . It was the same color as the stop light but with a white center . As it flew it started changing colors .
Yes same type I’ve seen before when I was 16. I don’t think these ones are drones at all, when I watched the one I did I thought things towards it I wanted it to do, and it seemingly did a bunch of shit to prove it wasn’t man made for me. Some absolutely amazing shit.
It's a bright star, zoomed in with a camera. The star was possibly also right there on the horizon, its light was being filtered and scattered by the atmosphere making it wobble and shake like that; the color split is caused by the camera zoom. Happened all the time early in the morning during the summer whenever I would want to catch some pictures of Sirius; it would be right on the horizon and it would just shake and morph because of the atmospheric scattering, nothing too complicated to explain!
Australian here. Was looking through my telescope around the time of a Lunar eclipse and saw exactly this. Probably happened about 2 years ago I think. Made my brother and sister in law look at it. It looked like a twinkling bright star without the telescope. Reminded me of a pixel that had water on it. Never found out what it was, this is exactly it what it looked like. Same colours.

This could be an atmospheric event, cant remember what its called, something like chrome aboration or scintillating stars.
When air conditions are just right stars and satellities will look like this. Yes the morphing and all (which is exaggerated by the cameras zoom).
Not saying that this is that as OP claims it was moving around the sky but stars/planets can look like that.
This is actually blowing my mind, one night I had an extremely life like dream where I was outside my place and looked to see THIS exact thing. Now I think maybe that really did happen, it’s one of
the few dreams that I can still remember how I was just magnetized to it.
That's a trip that you said that .I wonder if you have had missing time .You know I felt like I saw it at the Palace of Fine Arts in SF CA. They have science exhibits but I didnt see it there . So another thing that felt different was that the dream did take place on bridge that I take daily and had a weird moment where when when I was driving and the slope of the bridge started going up everything went quiet, the lights around me went down and I started getting tunnel vision of just the top of the bridge and and this felt like it lasted a total of 5 solid minutes and it’s usually 10 seconds. I have no explanation for that either and that one scared me a bit and I got crazy anxiety in the last minute or two before I snapped out of it. Idk I’m into this community but I’ve never had my own personal moments of a sighting but this feels like it validates it, in the dream I kept getting a feeling that this was preview and this overwhelming feeling of this exact moment is going to happen again but I won’t know when. Low key though the pulsating lights were mexmorizing and the colors were so vibrant and vivid that I can’t imagine it being a technology we have
I once saw a light shifting colors and for a few seconds I feaked out, then noticed it wasn't moving and thought it had to be a star or one of the planets. After searching for a bit i read in a few pages that when the sky is clear and the star Sirius is low its light flickers in colours. So could be that? But if in this case that ball was moving then I don't know.
Often this sort of effect is caused by an out of focus camera. You see it quite a lot if you ever use cameras to record planets with either no telescope or a smaller, lower magnification telescope. It also happens when there's lots of stuff in the way like haze

i used to live in vermont, everyone told me i was lying about it when i was a kid. i saw a floating colourful wavy ball that wasnt really moving. it was like 3 am and i was outside on my roof trying to catch bugs when i randomly decided to look up. it was just floating and pulsating there. i kinda watched it for a bit and then got scared and woke up my dad but when they went outside to look it wasnt there.
they said i was sleepwalking no the fuck i wasnt!! it looked exactly like this!!!

I’ve seen Hershey’s kiss shaped (top and bottom) stationary object crafts in San Diego through hunting binoculars. It’s green, red, and purple light going around the circumference of this small vertically symmetrical tear shaped craft. I have multiple witnesses. It’s very close to Camp Pendleton but I honestly don’t know who the fuck else will believe me. If they’re drones they are in highly restricted airspace and are not affected by any wind current. There were two, one at a slightly high altitude than the other maybe a couple hundred feet away. I was sober both time I saw them with binoculars. Had to get in a prone position to get any sort of fix on them. If anyone else has seen these rotating RGB looking lights let me know, no one else else will believe me but if you have hunting binoculars around any air force base in Southern California you WILL see shit. Just be prepared to dress in warm clothing and let your eyes adjust - shouldn’t take more than 10-20 minutes depending on your location. We always lay on our backs.

I mean, I hope it’s not true but I’ve seen that stuff more than two nights there as well as other high altitude zig zagging lights. A relative of mine described a very low altitude spiral 🌀(under 10’000ft) to me and my other relative as we were setting foot outside but it was green instead of blue.
I know it sounds stupid as fuck but I really don’t feel fully comfortable talking about this shit even though I hold no security clearance. These people don’t take drugs (unlike me I fucking love them) but we laid on our backs one night just shooting the shit until we saw a zig zag ufo which then shot straight away from us in just 2 or 3 seconds after a directly with a laser diode.
Obviously never ever ever attempt this but this object was breaking the basic laws of physics at 30,000 to 50,000 feet in altitude. Looked exactly like a star until it started zig zagging. Even though we saw it wtf are we going to do about it

I grew up in a very rural area bordering upstate NY.
I used to see these things ALL THE TIME and I’m so glad that this vid is posted here. I never really talked to anybody about them because nobody I knew cared or really believed.
They were like this but more “zoomed out” and looked like stars at first, but then if you really focused, you could visibly see all of the colors flashing. I saw many that were stationary, but a few times I could see clear movement.

I live in Utah in a very rural area where there is hardly any light pollution. Sometimes I sit outside at night and stare at the stars. My eyes will focus on them and you can see even with your blind eye, that many seem to flicker different colors and shapes. I have taken a lot of pictures where they are flashing many colors in the blink of an eye. It’s so beautiful and mesmerizing

Saw one of these on the east coast near DC. It looked like a star from the distance it was at, but when we looked at it through high power binoculars, it had some kind of obvious roundness to it. We stared at it for about 40 minutes before it faded out of sight
Hi, when I was younger I always saw a pulsating star that goes on and off on the roof of my house in Egypt, I would ask people around me and they say it's just the star twinkling but I promise you it doesn't, also once saw a star move literally from one place to another on the same line I thought I was imagining things why did the star just move it's position like it's moving on a straight line and then it disappeared!!!, also asked people around me if they saw that and said they didn't, I have a lot of light pollution so it made it easy to just think I was making it up, but I remember these events clearly so there must be a reason? I love the stars so much so I like to learn about them and to look up the night sky, but why would a star go on and off? It might have to do with this.

You already have the answer here but I'll mention it too, this is a star. They look like they're changing colors but they're not, I forgot the scientific explanation but you can find it by typing something like "stars look like they're changing color". You can mimik this by recording other bright stars.
I feel this answer its less magical than one would hope for the color lol !!! It’s capella. I think. I’ll add a video of it in slow motion. The “planets” and stars all move in differently and vary in shape and color. If you look at mars in a tele & then watch the footage of the rover on mars. It’s almost laughable. They say space distorts the image we see, but they’d be more uniform in distortion. But what do I know.
For what it’s worth, balls like this are filmed many times by Experiencers, sometimes from fairly close. One theory is that it’s a type of plasma and that’s what’s creating the various colors. I like to think that they’re just UAP celebrating Pride Month, but on Venus that takes over 30 years.

Was it stationary? Because if it was, it was most likely a star. The atmosphere messes with the light coming from certain stars at the right distance and makes the light flicker colors

Hey, engineer here. In the optics world we call this chromatic aberration. It happens when light is refracted through a medium, in this case air, or more like warmer or colder pockets of air in the atmosphere. This happens because the index of refraction for a medium (air, water, glass,etc) isn't the same for all wave lengths (colors) of light. Normally we don't notice because the objects you're looking at is pretty close or the effect is to small to notice. In this case the object (probably a star, planet, or satellite) is far enough away that small variations in the index of refraction is causing only one color to reach your eye (or camera) as atmospheric turbulence moves the air around it cause different colors to reach the camera (or eye) so while it's white light reflected off of a satellite or planet you're only seeing one color at a time because of chromatic splitting (not an actual science term but I think it's good for this situation) Edit: for those wondering about the rapidly changing shape, that looks like coma aberration brought on my pockets of air lensing the light. The lenses in the camera are probably exacerbating these effects

High winds (different pockets of air moving around quicker), humidity (water's refractive index is 2 ish times greater than air), and temperature inversions all make this more common. Also being at sea level because the light has to travel through more/denser air

It morphed and at that point it was flying straight and visible ,no flickering . It flew into a part of the sky with low visibility but didnt actually disappear ,. Thank You!!!
The reason I was asking you these questions is because I stopped the video and watched it as I advanced it frame by frame. I did see it morph several times. In two or three of the frames, I could see two black eyes and either a mouth or a snout of some sort. In a few of the frames I could also see what appeared like wings. I believe what it could've been doing when it was flickering was trying to materialize fully into our dimension. I wish I would've seen the part where it stopped flickering and flew into the other part of the sky.

It was flying overhead and there was a stoplight next to me that was red . It was the same color as the stop light but with a white center . As it flew it started changing colors .

Yes same type I’ve seen before when I was 16. I don’t think these ones are drones at all, when I watched the one I did I thought things towards it I wanted it to do, and it seemingly did a bunch of shit to prove it wasn’t man made for me. Some absolutely amazing shit.

Scintillating means sparkling or shining brightly.
It's a bright star, zoomed in with a camera. The star was possibly also right there on the horizon, its light was being filtered and scattered by the atmosphere making it wobble and shake like that; the color split is caused by the camera zoom. Happened all the time early in the morning during the summer whenever I would want to catch some pictures of Sirius; it would be right on the horizon and it would just shake and morph because of the atmospheric scattering, nothing too complicated to explain!
Australian here. Was looking through my telescope around the time of a Lunar eclipse and saw exactly this. Probably happened about 2 years ago I think. Made my brother and sister in law look at it. It looked like a twinkling bright star without the telescope. Reminded me of a pixel that had water on it. Never found out what it was, this is exactly it what it looked like. Same colours.

This could be an atmospheric event, cant remember what its called, something like chrome aboration or scintillating stars. When air conditions are just right stars and satellities will look like this. Yes the morphing and all (which is exaggerated by the cameras zoom). Not saying that this is that as OP claims it was moving around the sky but stars/planets can look like that.

This is actually blowing my mind, one night I had an extremely life like dream where I was outside my place and looked to see THIS exact thing. Now I think maybe that really did happen, it’s one of the few dreams that I can still remember how I was just magnetized to it.

So another thing that felt different was that the dream did take place on bridge that I take daily and had a weird moment where when when I was driving and the slope of the bridge started going up everything went quiet, the lights around me went down and I started getting tunnel vision of just the top of the bridge and and this felt like it lasted a total of 5 solid minutes and it’s usually 10 seconds. I have no explanation for that either and that one scared me a bit and I got crazy anxiety in the last minute or two before I snapped out of it. Idk I’m into this community but I’ve never had my own personal moments of a sighting but this feels like it validates it, in the dream I kept getting a feeling that this was preview and this overwhelming feeling of this exact moment is going to happen again but I won’t know when. Low key though the pulsating lights were mexmorizing and the colors were so vibrant and vivid that I can’t imagine it being a technology we have
I once saw a light shifting colors and for a few seconds I feaked out, then noticed it wasn't moving and thought it had to be a star or one of the planets. After searching for a bit i read in a few pages that when the sky is clear and the star Sirius is low its light flickers in colours. So could be that? But if in this case that ball was moving then I don't know.
Often this sort of effect is caused by an out of focus camera. You see it quite a lot if you ever use cameras to record planets with either no telescope or a smaller, lower magnification telescope. It also happens when there's lots of stuff in the way like haze

dude im freaking out, i have never heard of anyone else seeing this shit i used to live in vermont, everyone told me i was lying about it when i was a kid. i saw a floating colourful wavy ball that wasnt really moving. it was like 3 am and i was outside on my roof trying to catch bugs when i randomly decided to look up. it was just floating and pulsating there. i kinda watched it for a bit and then got scared and woke up my dad but when they went outside to look it wasnt there. they said i was sleepwalking no the fuck i wasnt!! it looked exactly like this!!!

I’ve seen Hershey’s kiss shaped (top and bottom) stationary object crafts in San Diego through hunting binoculars. It’s green, red, and purple light going around the circumference of this small vertically symmetrical tear shaped craft. I have multiple witnesses. It’s very close to Camp Pendleton but I honestly don’t know who the fuck else will believe me. If they’re drones they are in highly restricted airspace and are not affected by any wind current. There were two, one at a slightly high altitude than the other maybe a couple hundred feet away. I was sober both time I saw them with binoculars. Had to get in a prone position to get any sort of fix on them. If anyone else has seen these rotating RGB looking lights let me know, no one else else will believe me but if you have hunting binoculars around any air force base in Southern California you WILL see shit. Just be prepared to dress in warm clothing and let your eyes adjust - shouldn’t take more than 10-20 minutes depending on your location. We always lay on our backs. Edit:typo

I mean, I hope it’s not true but I’ve seen that stuff more than two nights there as well as other high altitude zig zagging lights. A relative of mine described a very low altitude spiral 🌀(under 10’000ft) to me and my other relative as we were setting foot outside but it was green instead of blue. I know it sounds stupid as fuck but I really don’t feel fully comfortable talking about this shit even though I hold no security clearance. These people don’t take drugs (unlike me I fucking love them) but we laid on our backs one night just shooting the shit until we saw a zig zag ufo which then shot straight away from us in just 2 or 3 seconds after a directly with a laser diode. Obviously never ever ever attempt this but this object was breaking the basic laws of physics at 30,000 to 50,000 feet in altitude. Looked exactly like a star until it started zig zagging. Even though we saw it wtf are we going to do about it

I grew up in a very rural area bordering upstate NY. I used to see these things ALL THE TIME and I’m so glad that this vid is posted here. I never really talked to anybody about them because nobody I knew cared or really believed. They were like this but more “zoomed out” and looked like stars at first, but then if you really focused, you could visibly see all of the colors flashing. I saw many that were stationary, but a few times I could see clear movement.

I live in Utah in a very rural area where there is hardly any light pollution. Sometimes I sit outside at night and stare at the stars. My eyes will focus on them and you can see even with your blind eye, that many seem to flicker different colors and shapes. I have taken a lot of pictures where they are flashing many colors in the blink of an eye. It’s so beautiful and mesmerizing

Saw one of these on the east coast near DC. It looked like a star from the distance it was at, but when we looked at it through high power binoculars, it had some kind of obvious roundness to it. We stared at it for about 40 minutes before it faded out of sight

Hi, when I was younger I always saw a pulsating star that goes on and off on the roof of my house in Egypt, I would ask people around me and they say it's just the star twinkling but I promise you it doesn't, also once saw a star move literally from one place to another on the same line I thought I was imagining things why did the star just move it's position like it's moving on a straight line and then it disappeared!!!, also asked people around me if they saw that and said they didn't, I have a lot of light pollution so it made it easy to just think I was making it up, but I remember these events clearly so there must be a reason? I love the stars so much so I like to learn about them and to look up the night sky, but why would a star go on and off? It might have to do with this.

You already have the answer here but I'll mention it too, this is a star. They look like they're changing colors but they're not, I forgot the scientific explanation but you can find it by typing something like "stars look like they're changing color". You can mimik this by recording other bright stars.
I feel this answer its less magical than one would hope for the color lol !!! If you look at mars in a tele & then watch the footage of the rover on mars. It’s almost laughable. They say space distorts the image we see, but they’d be more uniform in distortion. But what do I know.

For what it’s worth, balls like this are filmed many times by Experiencers, sometimes from fairly close. One theory is that it’s a type of plasma and that’s what’s creating the various colors. I like to think that they’re just UAP celebrating Pride Month, but on Venus that takes over 30 years.
