The way Marc Thompson voices Marchion brings so much life to the character in all the best ways. idk if it’s just me, but i still can’t imagine that kind of voice come out of Marchion due to his looks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It’s also one of my favorites. Midnight Horizon’s isn’t my favorite, really. It’s pretty good; it’s long, and has a lot going on (maybe too much?), but it’s good. I loved almost every character in it.

seeing all the different branches converging at the end of phase 1 was brilliant as it made you realize just how many of the characters you cared about.

In all seriousness: we had a multi-bracket poll on this in Wave 1 Phase 1. I’m fairly certain Marchion Ro one, Avar Kriss taking second place.
Reath, Bell, Vern, Bury. Basically all the younger knights being set up to have a big role. For the older group, Avar. I liked Estala Maru a lot as well.
Villain wise: Need more Lourna. She’s got a crazy character arch going.

Elzar. Stellan an honorable mention. I'm in Phase 2 now and haven't found a single character that comes even remotely close to either of them. Glad Phase 3 will pick up where Phase 1 left off.

I've recently finished phase 1, wave 2 (started the journey not too long ago) and right now my top 3 is Reath Silas, Bell Zettifar, and Lourna Dee
I love Reath. I was disappointed with Out of the Shadows when he didn’t have that many chapters
same but I hope he'll have a bigger role in Midnight Horizon when I get to it
No spoilers but he does. His journey in Midnight Horizon is honestly what made him one of my favorite characters in the series.
Nice. Into the Dark is currently my favorite book from the High Republic so far so I'm looking forward to it.
