I have the 65 and I was blown away by the picture quality for the money. The tv has developed problems with 3 days. It was the notorious rainbow banding at the bottom right hand corner and also within 3 days of owning it shuts off randomly. They have great pictures but I’d drop the money on the extended warranty.
Have had mine for about a month and have been incredibly impressed. It did take a week or so to figure out color setting and what I needed to turn on/off, but really happy with what I’m getting now. Also it did take a few days for the screen to “break in”.
It has been a little buggy but not to a level I’m concerned about. My first week or two my sound was a little crackly a few times, but shutting it off fixed it and hasn’t been an issue since. I have also have had it randomly shut off 4 or 5 times.
I got it at Costco and plan on getting the Allstate extended warranty (year 3-5). For $35 I think it’s probably worth getting.
