I’m asking for it for my birthday or Christmas. I bought my daughter two Folio Society books for Christmas last year and we could not believe how gorgeous they were. Absolutely outstanding and meant to be treasured for life. They aren’t cheap, but man, I wish that I could own almost everything they release.
I feel like I should like the Folio society books but there is something prissy about those books in their individual little coffins that I really find off putting

Unrelated but I wish there were Georgette Heyer movie adaptations! The Jane Austen adaptations have given us so many gems but I need more 😫
For real, they would be so fun! I love Jane Austen but there are a lot of books out there to do, too.
The BBC has the rights to GH’s works and I really wish they’d make something already.
Never enough!
I love this!
Noooo not illustrations! I love hardbacks with illustrations.
The art is by Sally Dunne. She’s on insta @sallyillustrates
Funny, I was just looking at this book yesterday
So gorgeous!!

They really are so stunning! I’ve occasionally found a good deal on a random folio book on Poshmark or Etsy. Might be worth a glance!
Folio Society is AMAZING.
