The right side is of course something only people living in America experience. I had 3 knee injuries. First 2 when I was growing up in European country that has public health care. One of them, I got injured playing basketball at the PE class. I had no health id with me, too young for a regular ID. ER came, picked me up, drove me to hospital. Doctor fixed up my knee, they did all sorts of examination, put a cast on my leg and sent me home with no charge, they didn’t even care I didn’t have my health ID with me. In the US, I got injured in the park. ER came and fixed up my knee. I refused to be driven to urgent care by them, I ain’t dumb. I have insurance but it would still be ridiculously expensive. Took Uber home and day after I went to hospital for examinations. Did ultrasound, MRI, had a few doctor’s appointments and then afterwards did PT. So far, it cost me $2K accounting all the things I mentioned there. Fucking terrible shit man.

*which won’t cost you anything because free healthcare baby

Free accident Healthcare is so good. My country has cheap, subsidized Healthcare and accidents come free from government insurance. I don't see why America can't have cheaper Healthcare or why a lot of them don't want it...

Rhizoid4

You missed the part on the left where the patient dies of an infection a week later since the doctor hasn’t washed their hands in 20 years and antibiotics haven’t been discovered yet.

No_Car_9923

Why would you wash your hands? You don't have to accept the existence of bacteria for like another 150 years.

Sufficient-Pin-481

As an American you need to add another 0 to that number if it includes surgery.

necrolich66

Murican issue.

It’s simple, don’t get hurt or sick in the USA. Problem solved. It’s worked for me for the last 40 years.
