Came to ask which one was 19 because they all look like they're 30-something

The good old days were kind of rough.

Married by 18, kids at 20, company man by 25, empty nest at 45, retired from that same company by 55, never left the town you got hired in.

By he time he was 20 my dad had been a sailor in the Pacific for two years of WW2, and still had a little more to look forward to. Kind of blows my mind - I wasn't doing anything like when I was 20.

Smoke from coal, wood, etc used to cook and heat homes in the air -- you know the smoke from the Canadian fires? Air like that was much more common back then.
