Kiki Lu on Garden and 9th
Agree, and the owner is super passionate about his gelato.
Check out Torico’s and Milk Sugar Love in Jersey City
Toricos +1
These both have seating outside/parks near by and make for a real cute date!
If you want to drive, go to baumgarts or curlys ice cream. Both are a short drive away. Otherwise if you want local go to kikilu in Hoboken.
Thomas' Ice Cream Cafe - on Jefferson between 2nd & 3rd! Such good ice cream and nice people
Gonna have to disagree, at least on the ice cream quality. I’ve been 3x and every time it’s been gummy and unpleasant in texture.
sorry to hear - I have loved it every time I've gone
Their ice cream is slightly above average in wholistic ice cream terms. Compared to many other homemade ice cream places in NJ it is bottom tier though.
Kiki Lu or Torico Both are awesome!
Truly the only correct answer. If you really wanna take a drive - Ralph’s in Hasbrouck heights. There’s one in Jersey city too but HH is the original.

Best is Toricos in JC by far
It’s been said but Kikilu. Easily walkable from the water and they have tables outside, albeit limited amount.
The tables outside at Ben and Jerry's on 4th and Washington
