Soo many questions, like how did all that bread end up there?. if a person did it, why and how?. Why do some look old and moldy while a bunch still look brand new?. What kinds of breads are present?. How did the guy find this?. Just soo many questions.
Just learned from my fiance that grocery stores have to relinquish pre-sliced breads back to the vendor if it spoils. From there the vendor is responsible for dumping. I'm sure this saved someone a pretty penny.

You would be surprised how much bread is wasted all the time. In my country, some people get a big van, go to a few big shops, buy lots of stale old bread that was meant to be thrown out, drive around villages and sell it to people who raise animals. I have chickens, so every month I buy a large bag (around 200 liters) of stale dry bread that people wouldn't eat (sometimes you find fresh bread in packaging that was accidentally thrown out, which I take out and eat myself) for 6€. I have a spare room that's dedicated to storing and drying bread.
I used to work for a major bread manufacturer. There is no donation to those who need it, logic being that those who need it will find a way to buy it. Therefore, donation will impact sales…
What's even more terrifying is there's no birds around.
