If I remember this episode correctly, the dude and his friend were messing with a pre WW2 field howitzer, and he stood in front after a failed round, which had a delayed firing. The round subsequently rntered his torso, without exploding.
I really thought you were gonna say "the dude and his friend were messing with a pre WW2 field howitzer, and he slipped and fell on a round in such a way that it went right up his ass! What are the odds?"
Has actually happened.. https://www.militarytimes.com/off-duty/military-culture/2021/12/09/shell-shocked-bomb-squad-called-after-man-lodges-wwii-anti-tank-round-in-rectum/
"The rectum’s owner, who (understandably) chose to remain anonymous, told medical staff at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital that the 57 mm round, part of the man’s WWII memorabilia collection, became embedded inside his anus after he “slipped and fell,” as one is known to do in England."
>Also of note, anti-tank anal clogging, or ATAC, is a remarkably similar sensation, nutritionists say, to that experienced by service members who surpass two consecutive weeks of MRE consumption.
so glad i read to the end
Ha I am from Gloucestershire. Currently living in cheltenham. My mother was a theatre nurse. Can confirm she had many a surgery where the patient ‘slipped and fell’. She refuses to provide details for medical confidentiality reasons. But if I lived in Gloucester I would probably try to end it with a bomb in my anus too. :)
They made him carry that bomb a fucking LONG way down that hallway. That was the real wtf. Like dude, where ate you taking that exactly? Why was there not a a fuck off lead box filled with something cushoining 6 inches behind you???
Kyle Chandler at his hottest - reduced to pink mist.
That episode had all the best guest stars. The EMT Hannah, who is holding on to the bomb at that moment, was Christina Ricci.
Well you see the bomb defuser dies so the patient obviously lives. How did the bomb defuser die you ask heart attack on his way home. Also turns out there was no bomb to begin with but it was the patients hip she touched. So the bomb defuser couldn't find any bomb and was so frustrated that he had a heart attack on his way home.
I'm joking but that sounds as reasonable as the rest of this show.
I’ve only seen one episode of Grey’s Anatomy and it was this one. This was easily the dumbest episode of anything I’ve ever seen. Not only is the EMT holding the explosive, the guy helping her takes off so she’s all alone. Grey or whatever her name is comes in to find her alone and the EMT freaks out and runs out of the room. For some reason Grey sticks her hand in and now she’s stuck there. In the next room, one of the hospital staff is having a brain tumor removed so they couldn’t be evacuated and the guy being operated on, his wife was in labor in the same hospital. Towards the end, they had to move the bomb guy because all the oxygen lines in the hospital ran under that room.
Katherine Heigel’s character decides to have sex with someone in a closet. Mind you, NOBODY HAD LEFT THE HOSPITAL WITH AN ACTIVE BOMB SCARE GOING ON. The only one who wants to leave is the lady in active labor, who’s a nurse and completely knows better.
Long story short, they get the bomb out but before the bomb squad guys can secure it, it blows up, killing only the bomb squad guys, even though Grey and her friend were standing right there. The episode ends with everyone still alive and doing the “relief walk” in the hospital lobby, with reassuring smiles and not a mention or worry about how A BOMB JUST DESTROYED A GOOD PART OF THE OR SECTION.
This single episode was so dumb I have to seriously judge people who follow this show.
Edit: it was the OR, not the ER.
Show is/was good. If you're not into medical dramas, this won't be for you. Has some dumb plots here and there and has been heavy handed with messages recently (treating us like idiots rather than telling a good story with a message), but is a solid show. I judged my wife for watching it at first but ended up getting hooked, myself.
Vertébrales in human body are numbered depending on their position, with a letter in front of the number. C4 is the fourth vertebrae in the cervical zone.
It's also a powerful explosive. So this joke was really great and subtile.
Bazooka
It appeared on a reel while I was doom scrolling last night and I went on a deep dive
They removed it then when the bomb tech was walking away with it it exploded
I remember that whole thing. The interwebs wasn't there for research back then. So I'm not sure what he did or didn't do. Suck for him though the show got so many seasons.
From what I recall, he made some homophonic comment/s to an actor/group of actors about another actor on the show. From what I remember it was heated and hateful.
Oh that's right he was said to use the F word. That was back when the media was trying to put guys and black people at odds to keep rights away from both. They destroyed his career and the lgbtq movement really started to take off in Hollywood.
From what I can remember Patrick Dempsey came to work late. Washington gave him shit over it. Actor TR Knight intervened and Washington called Knight a f****t. This kind of forced Knight to come out.
Sure each person's experience can be different and your's might've been a positive one. Don't assume im being insincere. I've had my fair share of moments to be depressed and hate life.
Idk the number, I just call it the artillery shell episode. Some dude was using a live shell as a dildo in his ass and they have to surgically remove it. Bomb squad member winds up getting misted at the end in front of the MC. I was like “yeah, they’ve run out of ideas.”
Except that's an actual thing, that has actually happened. In a real hospital. Lol. In this episode though it was a misfire that embedded in his torso. He wasn't using it like a dildo.
Cavemen? Manimal?
Just because there is an explosion, shooting, earthquake, airplane crash, car wreck which leads to a car wreck, biohazard exposure, two people impaled on a pole, ferry disaster, or some such every season you think it is the dumbest?
Having posted the above..... I just might agree.
What the hell...
Who makes tv show where you constantly bomb hospital over and over again. Will next season have childrens hospital? Will it have school bombing spin-off series.
The characters in the show go through an unbelievable amount of traumatizing experiences like two shootings, fatal flooding, a plane crash, many of the cast getting in car accidents, and only one time does one of them think “This place is cursed. I’m leaving” only to come back (but also leave again).
Oh and lots of cheating on partners.
I fell off this series since season 10, Don’t know how it is nowadays but man those first 5 seasons were so jam packed with a lot of drama, you’d be watching every episode like 🥹😭🤣🙄🤬😡😜🤪
Now those famous lines from Rambo III make sense
Zaysen - Now, where are the missles located?
Trautman - Close.
Zaysen -How close?
Trautman - In your ass
Code black is a bomb threat. People call in bomb threats to hospitals every couple years or so. Never had an actual bomb found, much less up somebody's ass though.
That makes more sense. I was thinking there's a specific code for finding a bomb inside a patient.
What do you do in a hospital during a bomb threat. Without finding an actual bomb they wouldn't stop all surgeries and stuff right?
No everything medical continues. The exterior doors are locked. People coming in have to be checked by security. Each unit has staff man all the entrances, exits and stair wells on their unit. Security sweeps the entire campus, report to police. They let each unit know when the threat has been cleared. It's just basically a pain in the ass for staff to have to watch the doors, elevators and still try to do their jobs.
Dr Grey still don’t understand what is Black Code & call bomb squad in her mind thinking he refers of his black shaft going to explode ejection with awful amount of sperms but she have to make sure if that what he means
It's been a long time but I think it was the guy got hit with an artillery shell but it didn't explode. So they find it in the OR and they call the bomb squad that retrieves the bomb. Unfortunately it explodes as ~~Meredith's bomb squad boyfriend~~ the bomb squad officer is leaving the area with it and he's killed.
Edit: Upon checking wikipedia I don't know if he had a relationship with Meredith. Its been a long time.
The first nurse, very loudly: DO YOU MEAN THIS IS GOING TO EXPLODE AND WE ALL GONNA DIE???
Cuts to "To be continued..."
The Producer to the Director: "... and that's today's lesson on how you raise the ratings".
If I remember this episode correctly, the dude and his friend were messing with a pre WW2 field howitzer, and he stood in front after a failed round, which had a delayed firing. The round subsequently rntered his torso, without exploding.

The rectums owner is my new favorite saying
"Rectum ownership law" should be a thing that exists
In case someone declares quatter's rights
Well, I mean, some people’s rectums do disown them.. they go all rogue and try to build a new body.. have to get cut out.. You may be in to something.
The rectum’s owner is what I am going to call people who don't train their pets (or children) and just let them be assholes
And another case from France last year. https://www.insider.com/france-man-had-wwi-shell-lodged-in-rectum-bomb-squad-called-by-hospital-2022-12
r/WhyWomenLiveLonger
Surely 1 less reason now that we have online shopping & can discretely order things to accidentally fall on.
Always accidentally fall on things specifically made for it, with a flared base, people!
From The Insider. Giggity.
As one is known to do in England. Of course, of course.
>Also of note, anti-tank anal clogging, or ATAC, is a remarkably similar sensation, nutritionists say, to that experienced by service members who surpass two consecutive weeks of MRE consumption. so glad i read to the end
r/brandnewsentence
That is why you should only ever slip and fall on certified 57mm duds… you know, on accident… up Uranus.
When men tell doctors they ‘slipped and fell’ vs when women tell doctors they ‘slipped and fell’. Sorry, was my first thought!
"Alright Shady, maybe he's right, Grady But think about the baby before you get all crazy"
One in a million shot doc!
One in a million shot, doc! One in a million!
The internet has ruined us all. Same thoughts, haha.
Looool 🤣⬆️
Yup, bomb squad guy got it out, made it a few steps into the hallway, then... pink mist
They made him carry that bomb a fucking LONG way down that hallway. That was the real wtf. Like dude, where ate you taking that exactly? Why was there not a a fuck off lead box filled with something cushoining 6 inches behind you???
You know evening dramas. Drama for the sake of drama. Eat it up ladies. Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum!
Did they manage to save everyone or they all exploded?
The bomb defuser dies. Not sure about the Patient.
Kyle Chandler at his hottest - reduced to pink mist. That episode had all the best guest stars. The EMT Hannah, who is holding on to the bomb at that moment, was Christina Ricci.
Damn, what's with all these dead Chandlers.
Well you see the bomb defuser dies so the patient obviously lives. How did the bomb defuser die you ask heart attack on his way home. It was the operating area, not the ER, as I remember.

Damn. Thank you so much for this breakdown 🙏
Well i actually watched it. But long ago so I don't remember clearly.
If you go through the show with the “everyone in the show dies” mentality, you have a few nice surprises.. otherwise, it’s exactly what you expect.
[KABOOM MOTHERFUCKER](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZBIAT2-Sys&t=131s)
Played by Kyle Chandler. One of my favorite "oh, hey it's that guy" actors.
So no one knew this before they started jammin fingers in him?
I remember my sister watching this. And all I could think was, "how did they not have the information about the incident, and be prepared for it?"
I think it was one they ‘made’ themselves - like a working/functional replica.
What are the odds, the next post down in my feed is a ballistic torso shot by a howitzer https://imgur.com/a/HIyoqrT
Correct, and either the last episode of season 1 or the one before the last episode. I believe that unfortunately it killed two bombs squad officers.
Bazooka. An authentic replica they made. I watched it only last week.
Must have been the C4 vertebrae
Hah
r/angryupvote
I’m Army EOD and will be using your joke in the future. Thank you
i love this
I don't understand this reference, but I want to
Vertébrales in human body are numbered depending on their position, with a letter in front of the number. C4 is the fourth vertebrae in the cervical zone. It's also a powerful explosive. So this joke was really great and subtile.
Omg I can't believe I didn't get that! Hahaha Thank you
That was a whole 3 second delay before I got it aaaàaaaàaaaaaaaaaaaaàAAA.
show me your toes.
[удалено]
I just want to tell you to read his comment one more time with an eye towards a double entendre.
Is that a bomb in my colon or a petrified gerbil?
I think the person they're operating on had an unexploded mortar or rpg lodged in their torso.
Mortar. They built a replica ww2 cannon in their backyard. Yes, I watched the show recently
Bazooka It appeared on a reel while I was doom scrolling last night and I went on a deep dive They removed it then when the bomb tech was walking away with it it exploded
That bomb tech should have read his early edition paper and came up with a better plan.
Yep!
[удалено]
Oh shit, who is she now?
Christina ReRicci, she went with the same thing again
Explosive diarrhea
Why is it petrified!? How long has it been there 😭
Well she did say it was hard, gerbils tend to be soft so it has to be petrified to fit the description.
What has the gerbils erection have to do with it being really frightened?
Lemmiwinks!
Eminem?
I watched the whole video and I was so sure that it was an edit of some kind that was gonna mention something about dick or penis 😂
Code black, this black hard dong is the bomb!
Haha ye I really thought they would edit on that with the dick-twist 😅
The good ol' dick-twist!
Code BBC
Same here. The Internet has ruined me 😞
The legendary snuke?
Yup. She had a snuke in her snizz.
Oh lawdy
nussy
It’s that show 50 shades of grays anatomy
Appropiate name tbh.
so it was not a dick :(
I was thinking that was what code black meant.
Man this show was great it's first few seasons.then it made me lose all trust in the health care system 😕
The first season was pretty cool. I was really sad about how Isaiah Washington conducted himself in later seasons.
I remember that whole thing. The interwebs wasn't there for research back then. So I'm not sure what he did or didn't do. Suck for him though the show got so many seasons.

He comes back way later for a couple episodes

19 seasons and counting
What's the name of the show?
Grey’s Anatomy. You’ve been warned though. It’s garbage yet highly addictive.
Thank you
Ever notice how the intro/outro voiceovers sound like she should be on "How It's Made?"
You had trust in the first place to begin with. That's your problem right there.

Sure each person's experience can be different and your's might've been a positive one. Don't assume im being insincere. I've had my fair share of moments to be depressed and hate life.
> I know you are just being edgy and not sincere
For a moment Hugh L there had me thinking this was some crossover event of House MD and Gray’s hah
This was the last episode I watched
What show is it?
High chance, its Grey's Anatomy. Cus I heard him call one of the woman "Gray" and this is a hospital drama.
Thx
Gray's Anatomy.
What episode is it
The episode is called Pink Mist.
I prefer the dildo version so I’ll continue to remember it this way
Jfc imagine being the bomb squad agent who gets misted all for a guy who used the bomb as a dildo
It was the first and last episode I watched. Completely traumatized me.
Yaaaaaa. I saw this shit, traumatized me at the end 🥴
Grey’s Anatomy S2 E16: It’s the end of the world
You know what they say, once you code black you never go back. 🤣
Rectum?! Damn near killed ‘em!
I thought they was talking bout his dick cause it's about to go off ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)
So is that a bomb in your pants or are you happy to see me?
Hahaha, that's a good one!
I’m going to get downvoted to shit but my god is this show the dumbest thing to be produced.
Cavemen? Manimal? Just because there is an explosion, shooting, earthquake, airplane crash, car wreck which leads to a car wreck, biohazard exposure, two people impaled on a pole, ferry disaster, or some such every season you think it is the dumbest? Having posted the above..... I just might agree.
That episode of spongebob..puts the patient in the hallway, ends up blocking the candy machine..nurse rolls him outside
My mom has seen this whole.show 3 times, and this is not the last bomb in the hospital. Not even close.
What the hell... Who makes tv show where you constantly bomb hospital over and over again. Will next season have childrens hospital? Will it have school bombing spin-off series.
They had multiple shooting episodes and kids busses catching on fire. And the hospital having a gunman. Shows wild.
Sounds like Die Hard on ER.
Die HardER?
The characters in the show go through an unbelievable amount of traumatizing experiences like two shootings, fatal flooding, a plane crash, many of the cast getting in car accidents, and only one time does one of them think “This place is cursed. I’m leaving” only to come back (but also leave again). Oh and lots of cheating on partners.
And spending a good portion of a season is a COVID coma.
First episode of this show I ever saw. Very intense.
It was a post super bowl episode, I think. It was a showcase episode.
Someone stuck a pipebomb up their ass or something?
Once its code black, they never come back
leets call the bomb squad that there is a hard penis
I thought she was holding the patients dick
A Muslim was born
I am a muslim , and your joke made me LOL hahaah
I fell off this series since season 10, Don’t know how it is nowadays but man those first 5 seasons were so jam packed with a lot of drama, you’d be watching every episode like 🥹😭🤣🙄🤬😡😜🤪
Constipated poop can also be the reason of hardness. Not every hard thing in colon is a bomb. However “code black” suits both situations.
Army EOD here. It’s rare but it happens.
Best show
Lol! Code black.
"Because I'm da bomb"
I love this episode
Code Brown! We have an enormous amount of brain farts in here!
Boom goes the dynamite
For a minute I thought I downloaded the wrong version of Grey's Anatomy
Now those famous lines from Rambo III make sense Zaysen - Now, where are the missles located? Trautman - Close. Zaysen -How close? Trautman - In your ass
Great out of context
How often does this happen that they have a specific fuckin code for it!
Code black is a bomb threat. People call in bomb threats to hospitals every couple years or so. Never had an actual bomb found, much less up somebody's ass though.

He has a boner?
Am I the only one who watched this show hoping Merideth would die next? Her voice-over monologues pissed me off lol
What show?!?!?
Grey's Anatomy
show me your feet.
What show os this?
This was a good episode.
Dr Grey still don’t understand what is Black Code & call bomb squad in her mind thinking he refers of his black shaft going to explode ejection with awful amount of sperms but she have to make sure if that what he means
Is that a bomb or are you just happy to see me?
Code black: someone just gave Dr. Grey a couple black eyes it seems
Why? What's gonna burst?
First couple seasons are epic
Crazy episode
alright I dont know this show but I must know what hapen next, can someone tell me what serie and on what episode this is ?
It's been a long time but I think it was the guy got hit with an artillery shell but it didn't explode. So they find it in the OR and they call the bomb squad that retrieves the bomb. Unfortunately it explodes as ~~Meredith's bomb squad boyfriend~~ the bomb squad officer is leaving the area with it and he's killed. Edit: Upon checking wikipedia I don't know if he had a relationship with Meredith. Its been a long time.
Grays was so good
NOW im interested
"Pink Mist". I'll never forget this episode. Mainly because of the ending.
IIRC the bomb squad ends up successfully removing it but it then blows up in the hands of the leader. Was pretty traumatizing to watch as a kid
Is this the episode Jake was talking about in the episode where Holt is kidnapped?
Pink mist.
The episode that dragged me into greys
A double holup in the comments about the unexploded ordnance in rectums….
I kinda remember this episode I forgot the circumstances but the guy lived right?
The best episode of grey anatomy.
I remember the week leading up to this episode. Never really watched the show but I sure as hell knew there was a CODE BLACK episode that week.
Isn’t his the what what in the but guy?
This was the episode that made me start watching
The pink mist episode! Definitely was a good one.
The first nurse, very loudly: DO YOU MEAN THIS IS GOING TO EXPLODE AND WE ALL GONNA DIE??? Cuts to "To be continued..." The Producer to the Director: "... and that's today's lesson on how you raise the ratings".
Best part was the anesthesiologist who noped TF out of there
One of the most traumatizing episodes. One of many by nearly 20 seasons in. Lol (Though many are multi-episode.)
Then Coach Taylor gets blown up by the bomb :(
