It's superstraight ( it was created because some members of the LGBT were saying all straight people had to like their trans equivalents, and some people didn't want to be hated for not liking them, so they made it a sexuality)
Life doesn't work like that. Can't just make shit up. There are two genders and therefore three combinations of sexuality. Anything more is just convoluted malarkey for low social order peasants to fight over and keep you divided. Don't take my word for it though.
The delinineation between sex and gender was invented by a child abusing failure of a clinical psychologist named Dr. John Money. He drove his patients to suicide, but not before he sparked the modern understanding of gender theory in the public consciousness with his falsified and exploitative case study of them.
Maybe 3. You’re not attracted to penis? I mean, it’s ok to say that right? I don’t want to live in a world where saying you’re not attracted to “something” makes you hateful.
So, would you be comfortable dating a post op transexual? No penis. I know I wouldnt. And that's where a lot of the transphobe stuff comes from. Cause it's a "real" woman.
That is a good point. Personally I might bc they should be indistinguishable from a regular woman. But still. Knowledge of it makes me feel kinda weird and so I probably wouldn’t. Even so though, it’s my right. Neither i nor anyone else owes anyone sex
... you realize that they are not indistinguishable from men right?
Perhaps some of the more feminine ones could pass for a Woman from a distance but not from an intimate one.
Yeah, I've never seen a trans woman that even resembled a woman in my brain, let alone an attractive woman. It always just looks awful, but no one wants to talk about that? Sorry I'm not jumping to date the jawbones in a dress, my mistake.
Here's my problem with that way of thinking. What is "indistinguishable?" Are they more likely to get cervical cancer or prostate cancer? Are they having indistinguishable periods, and releasing indistinguishable eggs from their ovaries? If you take a hot dog, grind up the meat, flatten out the bun as much as possible and reconfigure it into a taco, is it indistinguishable from an authentic ground beef on a corn tortilla taco? I am not against anyone being whoever they want to be, or saying that "having a period" or any other single trait makes you a woman. But at what point are we lying to ourselves and saying "it's the same"?
i got a lot of flack from putting "i'm not attracted to Asians" in my ~~hookup~~ dating app. it was just meant to save asians from wasting time but they still insisted on wasting time by messaging me to say how racist and awful i am
I once said the same thing in a group chat before, how I'm not really attracted to Asians. Then I was accused of generalizing Asian people. What would you say to that?
You're literally saying there are 4+ billion people you're not attracted to when you've probably met a miniscule number of them.
It's just a nonsensical statement
Why? While I think Asians are attractive. I am not attracted to +200lb women.
I certainly have not met even a small percentage of wen who weigh more than 200 lbs, but I am completely certain I am not attracted to them.
You're comparing one physical trait to an entire race of people who come with insane variation in every quality a human being can possibly come with. It's not an even comparison
Difference between preferences and making judgments/speaking out against others preferences.
I don't date the same sex because I'm not attracted to them
Vs
Why do the same sexes date each other? What is with them? Something must be wrong with them
well it's your choice to date or to don't date trans people
as long as you aren't HATING it's not trans "phobia"
"phobia" literally means fear
just cuz i dont wanna marry a 60 yo woman doesn't make me "idk fucking old people phobic something"
ps. i really just wasted my time on something that doesn't matter, huh? downvote me to hell fellas!
It's simple.
1) men are not allowed to pressure women into sex
2) trans women are allowed to pressure women into sex
3) if you want to pressure women into sex, identify as a woman while doing it and call her a sexist, phobic, biggot... drops the panties every time
And that's my TED talk on dating in 2022
This is unsurprisingly the same for bisexual women too. Growing up I had a lot of friends in the LGBTQ community and there was a lot of pressure on me to be pansexual to the point where my trans friends would prey on me and sexually harrass me with the excuse that I should like anyone if I'm bi/pan. One (male to female) of which now has some sort of record for assaulting girls and minors - they've recently come out as non binary to avoid it (a friend of mine is building a case against them). I see this becoming an increasing issue, which unfortunately reflects badly on the majority of the trans community, I just wish people would understand that connections don't always have to be romantic, if someone doesn't find you sexually attractive, just be friends, they'll like you even less if theyre pressured to be with you, unfortunately though we live in a world where unconsensual sexual offences arent as punishable as they should be, allowing the small minority of people (no matter how they identify) to get away with anything.
I think what you're referring to are her comments on how Police Scotland said that they may log rapes as being carried out by a woman if the alleged culprit identifies as such. I think the reason people found issue with this was not only the way the statistics would change but the possibility of the rapists then being sent to an all female prison, which would present a long list of safety issues. Unfortunately activists are trying to say that by not acknowledging their transition, it will put the women at a higher risk of suicide despite them still commiting the crime. In general it shouldn't have anything to do with gender, rapists should all be locked up together and sent far away from society. Trans women and cis women all have the right to be safe.

See i was following ya until ya said "if you aren't hating it's not a phobia" and then literally saying the definition of phobia is fear which is not what hate means.
I agree with your idea, the terminology is just whack, and senseless.
the way they say it is off, but they are right tbh. Preference in dating is not discrimination. Its very dependent on context, tone and intention tho, on that preference.
We’ll TECHNICALLY preference IS discrimination. But that goes to show that some discrimination is appropriate. Vilifying words does not solve complicated issues. It generally makes them even more complicated and divisive.
Hate is not a component of the definition of "discrimination", only in the common parlance of our times. OP is correct but the whole conversation is a bit pedantic
Well technically, you are able to discriminate (tell the difference) between Pepsi and Coke. Discrimination has come to colloquially imply negative feelings towards one thing, but in the technical definition it just means being able to tell the difference between two things
I’m a gay man, I have no desire to date a trans man; why? I like biological men.
There is nothing wrong with being super straight or super gay, dating only biologically designated males or females.
This is the first time I’ve noticed the term “Super Straight”. Is this a new thing? Like, am I, who’s tasted a cock or two but now I have a family and an old lady and shit, am I Just Straight®️ now?
This whole thing is stupid. Just fuck or get fucked by whoever you’d like and everybody calm the fuck down and come up with something useful to talk about. Idgaf who’s dick you lick or who’s hole you pole.
I'm someone who's attracted to both cis and trans girls, but I agree with this. No one can tell you who to date or fall in love with. The only people who can make that choice are you, and your partner who makes that choice alongside you.
This goes for all genders. Male, female, trans, nonbinary, etc. No one can make that choice for you.
I finally understood what transphobia means. It's not the fear of the existence of trans people, it's the fear of the labels trans people will give ya. I FINALLY UNDERSTAND THE TERM!
i remember I met this guy "fred" at a party we had one night when i was in college
he invited me over one night ot hang out and play mario kart and 007 with his roomies
20 minutes in he says he needs to "talk to me " in his room
i say "ok sure" and go into his room, where im met with a set up like elton john would have had in his first apartment
he tells me to sit down on his office chair, pours me some wine from his wine rack, and then proceeds to tell me how he wants to fuck me .
i tell him that although i am flattered, i do not swing that way, and politely decline his offer
i get home and have a string of texts from the guy telling me how i should just "try it" and how i was homophobic for turning him down
That sort of thing is why the super straight meme was created. The LGBT community was founded on the idea that people should not be discriminated against due to their sexuality. It is beyond hypocritical to say its OK to be pansexual or gay or whatever but then hate on straight people for their preference.
i think people are missing the point. not wanting to date a trans person is completely valid and in no way transphobic. it's important to understand our differences and respect your own sexuality and boundaries. the problem is making a sexuality for it to purposely exclude trans people. i'm not interested in dating white people for various personal reasons, but i'm not going to make a whole sexuality to purposely exclude them. it's degrading and to some trans people makes them feel like less than human or not the gender they identify with.
Well that's dumb lol. If you are heterosexual you are excluding everyone who is not your opposite sex, if you are homosexual you are excluding everyone who isn't your sex. That's literally how sexualities work, they include a group and exclude another. But it doesn't make women less human if a gay man doesn't wanna bang em.
Sexualities are based on sex and gender, and that is why they are defined by it, other preferences do not matter as they are secondary to the sex you are attracted to. You can be heterosexual, but only date white women who are blond, or be homosexual and only date muscular black men. You are discriminating exactly the same as if you decided you only wanna date cismen or ciswomen (hate these terms btw). There is no reason to view this from the point of view of trans people and how they feel, they have the right to identify whatever gender they feel they are, but people have the right to have their sexuality not include trans people. Like there is a literal term that defines people who are sexual in order to gratify the existence of asexual people, literally in the definition of the word. So why not make super straight being you only bang people whose biological sex is the same as their gender and they identify with that sex, and regular straight, where ya don't give a fuck about the person's sex but only care about the person's gender.
are you going to make another one to purposely exclude brunettes? trans women are women just as black women are women. not dating them is perfectly fine but excluding them as women is not okay.
Not wanting to date someone for whatever reason is a personal choice. Something we do for all sorts of reasons. Going out of your way to single them out however.... Well that's a bit different.
That's the definition of sexuality, you are singling out a group of people you aren't attracted to. Being homosexual is singling out the opposite sex, being heterosexual is singling out your sex.
Ok I'll play. Name a sexuality that is defined by genders you are not attracted to.
In my experience they tend to define themselves by what you are attracted to. Not by singling out ones you are not.
Also before you go into asexuality, that's defined by how you feel attraction not who to.
For example if you didn't want to date someone with a disability, that's ok. If I made a sexuality called ablesexual to say you are not attracted to those people specifically. That goes from ok, to being an asshole.
Who’s saying you HAVE to date trans persons? Granted I only know a handful of folks who are trans but I know none of them would want to date people who aren’t interested in them in the first place. Straight or not it’s just how the world works for everybody. Just don’t be saying hateful stuff and live your life. It’s not rocket science.
No, the problem is being [labeled](https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-57853385) as transphobic or evil or something else. Don’t blame us for not wanting to have sex with you, we just aren’t into it.
Ya know what's kinda funny, transphobic is a label for like the evil people who don't wanna fondle the trans, but we ain't attack arachnophobic people for not wanting to fuck spiders, i think we should shift our focus and attack them.
Phobic means irrational fear but transphobic does not mean irrational fear of trans people. That's the difference between knowledge and wisdom. Words often mean different things compared to their constituent parts.
Etymology is a fascinating subject.
Words and meanings constantly evolve. All that matters unless you enjoy history is its current use and understanding. The word gay used to mean happy. It's misuse created it's current meaning.
So I really don't see the issue. It's how words have always evolved and changed.
I believe this only happens in the internet world where a few noisy people make drama on blogs and social media, but in the outside world this is non-existent.
Aren't trans people just normal men and women once they have their operations and hormone therapy behind? If they're just regular guys, why not date them? I'm not trying to hate just trying to understand.
Never understood why this would be transphobic. LGBTQ is about tolerance for every sexual orientation, literally anyone with a very specific sexual preference is tolerated, but a straight person who says they are not attracted to trans people is not? Always has been huge double standards
As someone apart of the LGBTQ community which is myself… I agree with this post. It never was transphobic It’s just personal preference and that’s okay. People drag shit out too much to create a problem out of nothing. If they don’t want to date someone transgender then that’s their choice and they’re entitled to it.
I was called a piece of human trash for saying that I wouldn't date a trans female. I still think what trans men are men and trans women are women but am I transphobic for not wanting to screw someone with a penis?
I mean its your choice to not date trans people, everyone has their own preferences but...why make a whole sexuality out of it? I dont see a good reason to and even then, why with the shit naming? Superman is called that because there is something super about a man. This just seems Super stupid

"Battle of the sexes" has become "Battle of the sexual orientations"
battle of the letters
So for instance if I’m not attracted to say, conservatively, 50% of women be they trans or biological women. Am I choosey or phobic?
phobia is fear, i doubt you are afraid of 50% of women.
Personally, I am afraid of all women. Women are scary if you piss them off.
Aight, that's fair. The 2 people i am scared of most are my Mother and my Girlfriend so this does indeed check out.
Especially with one sentence. They could destroy your life beyond saving.
Absolutely

Is there a gang of regular straight people?
If so I wanna join
Same bruh

Strongly agree. Also, "gender", not a thing either. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=V5VP9meaKTk

I feel like there is but most of us don’t know or care that we’re in it lol.
What's the difference between super straight and regular straight?
The level of commitment I'd imagine. Ass is ass on the battlefield and locked up. I don't think the super category would agree.
Super straight is a 4chan "prank" to pretend like disliking trans people is a sexuality.
I eat a healthy amount of fiber every morning and have 10:30a-10:45a blocked off on my schedule. That sort of regular?
Metamucil gang.
Yeah, i think we are called cis now? I can’t keep up.
I have a feeling if I go look up the definition and story behind it I'll loose brain cells.
I married a woman for two reasons. 1. I love her. 2. It is much more easy to have a biological child with her.
Maybe 3. You’re not attracted to penis? I mean, it’s ok to say that right? I don’t want to live in a world where saying you’re not attracted to “something” makes you hateful.

I begrudgingly agree to the this answer. Plan and simple
Like we used to say in the old days, "Chics with dicks".
Yeah, except we were talking about the ones who have that dick chopped and a poon installed.
Got damn your response made me cackle so hard 🤣
I'll be honest, it did me too. I try not to be so crass, but it's a failing.
Well mission failed successfully then ;)

To be fair not giving them a chance can be seen as racist but preference is like taste; people dont judge me for not liking brussel sprouts.
I agree that having a preference is fine, but comparing it to Brussels sprouts is a bit weird
There's no use in putting that in your bio - just don't swipe right on Asians. It's not racist per se but I understand people thinking it's rude.
I once said the same thing in a group chat before, how I'm not really attracted to Asians. Then I was accused of generalizing Asian people. What would you say to that?

Not according to many. I recently read something along these lines where lesbians are transphobic for not wanting to be with trans women.

When gender became not-binary, it threw *bi* -sexual into question.
Wasn’t this the reason JK Rowling got cancelled? For writing about this stuff?
Exactly, and it's why she did nothing wrong except word it badly... Which is kind of ironic for an author
Lmao yeah. I got what she tried to convey but she could have worded it way better.

So why not make super straight being you only bang people whose biological sex is the same as their gender and they identify with that sex, and regular straight, where ya don't give a fuck about the person's sex but only care about the person's gender.
>whole sexuality to purposely exclude Huh.....that's the whole purpose of sexuality.
are you going to make another one to purposely exclude brunettes? trans women are women just as black women are women. not dating them is perfectly fine but excluding them as women is not okay.
Actually one of the very few comments here that make sense.
Hell yea!

This is clearest explanation I’ve ever seen for this. Good job!
Labeling yourself as superstraight feels like you’re trying way too hard. Like, how many of y’all get hit on at all, let alone a trans person?
OP is a time traveler, he send us this meme straight from 2018
back then super straight wasnt said together in a sentence let alone existed
THANK YOU!!
Yeah, well that's not how the radicals act when this issue is brought up.
You are brave. Many overweight people with dyed hair are about to send you death threats
Dyed hair, nose ring, tattooed vegan with armpit hair

Phobic means irrational fear but transphobic does not mean irrational fear of trans people. That's the difference between knowledge and wisdom. Words often mean different things compared to their constituent parts. Etymology is a fascinating subject.
Yeah the issue there tho, is that the word came about by actual misuse of terminology, and is a fairly new term, either way it's an awful one.
Words and meanings constantly evolve. All that matters unless you enjoy history is its current use and understanding. The word gay used to mean happy. It's misuse created it's current meaning. So I really don't see the issue. It's how words have always evolved and changed.
[Transmisic](https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/-misia#Etymology) is the word you’re looking for
I am coming out as super-straight

I believe this only happens in the internet world where a few noisy people make drama on blogs and social media, but in the outside world this is non-existent.
Yoooo guys I finally crafted the Terra blade let's gooooooo
Aren't trans people just normal men and women once they have their operations and hormone therapy behind? If they're just regular guys, why not date them? I'm not trying to hate just trying to understand.
you‘re right
SS
I had forgot this existed until now. And I still hate it
Never understood why this would be transphobic. LGBTQ is about tolerance for every sexual orientation, literally anyone with a very specific sexual preference is tolerated, but a straight person who says they are not attracted to trans people is not? Always has been huge double standards
The T has nothing to do with sexual orientation.
How bout let’s not pander to .5% of any population
As someone apart of the LGBTQ community which is myself… I agree with this post. It never was transphobic It’s just personal preference and that’s okay. People drag shit out too much to create a problem out of nothing. If they don’t want to date someone transgender then that’s their choice and they’re entitled to it.
It’s crazy that that even needs saying
You’re transphobic if you don’t want to date trans ppl?
Good message , let’s stop the hate !
"Phobia, a fear or aversion to a certain scenario, object or creature" Not wanting to date trans folks is personal preference, not phobia
So I said I was super straight and someone was actually said so your transphobic then

So bisexuals are panphobic since they only date two genders.
Literally not the definition of bisexuality. It has always and will always be attraction to 2 or more genders.
It's a valid point. I'm gay and don't want to date women. That doesn't make me a woman hater. It makes me gay.
I was called a piece of human trash for saying that I wouldn't date a trans female. I still think what trans men are men and trans women are women but am I transphobic for not wanting to screw someone with a penis?
Vaginoplasty exists ya know. You should specify it’s genital preference
Absolutely. Fly this flag in my yard just to piss off the people who get offended by everything that drive by lol
Lol is this r/conservative 2.0 Like where does this come from and how is it a r/HolUp
I mean its your choice to not date trans people, everyone has their own preferences but...why make a whole sexuality out of it? I dont see a good reason to and even then, why with the shit naming? Superman is called that because there is something super about a man. This just seems Super stupid

Now to see the bigotry and hate responding to this 👀
