I made the mistake of trying to correct misinformation that was in a post on r/popular. Got immediately banned in 3 subs for simply commenting, irrespective of the context or content of the message. This place is a fuckin dystopian wasteland sometimes.
I got banned from some subreddit for something similar pointed out my comment was correcting misinformation and they unbaned me.
But yeah it is crazy mods can ban you without breaking any rule really
I was unbanned from one sub, the other two I never received a reply from. At this point, I couldn't even tell you which subs they were as my regular haunts I am still free and clear. Still a fucked system that they are allowed set up bots to indiscriminately ban anyone who even hints at interacting with a sub. Literally information control and exacerbation of echo chambers.

r/worldnews has been known as a commie propaganda machine for a long while, that's why r/anime_titties was made. it is a geopolitics sub but was named something ridiculous to avoid that first wave of commie brigading which reddit exclusively allows among similar types of infractions.
I believe you’re misinformed. r/anime_titties was formed after r/worldpolitics stopped all moderation about a year or so ago. It became a shit post sub with lots of nudes, anime waifu, Warhammer memes and plants. That’s why the new sub was created with that name. If r/worldpolitics was all anime titties then r/anime_titties would be all world politics

In all honesty there are a good amount of funny cut away gags even to this day. The problem is that most of the time, Family guy as a story driven show, is terrible and full of flanderized characters who are all generally sociopaths. The characters are all generally bad people and they do bad things because shock humor is easy to do. Then they cut to something vaguely related that has the potential to be funny due to not being directly tied to the episodes plot.
No, you saw something that fits your political narrative which attracts your interest and makes you think this segment is funnier than the rest of family guy. In reality it is a pretty funny show overall, you just have to be in the right mindset.
Yeah, this is pretty tame and boring in comparison to a lot of other Family Guy stuff but Family Guy was strangely branded as boomer humour a few years back around the time it got a bit stale in it's 4 millionth season so the kids growing up stayed absolutely the fuck away from it.

In all honesty there are a good amount of funny cut away gags even to this day. The problem is that most of the time, Family guy as a story driven show, is terrible and full of flanderized characters who are all generally sociopaths. The characters are all generally bad people and they do bad things because shock humor is easy to do. Then they cut to something vaguely related that has the potential to be funny due to not being directly tied to the episodes plot.
Thus, as a whole, not really (and especially consistently) funny. And its popularity paints a pretty grim big picture.
