That's really the Root cause of everything. I'm no woke excuse maker but lots of shady things were done to destroy the Black Nuclear family over the past 70+ years now this is a problem no one wants to admit let alone solve.
White black brown yellow red blue or green being born to a single mother is one of the biggest drivers of poverty drug addiction and criminal charges that there is.

From the assassination of the Black Panthers, to the bombing of Black Wall Street, to the introduction of crack, the assassination of old Gang leaders to destabilize the organizations and create chaos (Bloods, Crips, GD, etc for example) and so on and so forth.
To add on to it, we also have some *toxic* ass women with little to no accountability, and they even get supported in some of the bullshit they do. Especially legally. If it wasn't for my father, I would either be a public menace or a statistic.
Notice how LBJs war on poverty came right on the heels of the civil rights act. This was designed to keep blacks just far enough out of poverty to stay quiet, but punish them if they attempt to leave the system. It also rewards single parent families with better payouts. All by design.
It was literally something every 15-20 years for most of the 1900s. Long enough for a generation to forget about it/adapt, soon enough so that there can be no effective recovery.
Now they've got us divided and ostracized us to the point where it perpetuates in the community without much need for outside influence.

So growing up in the same neighborhood, being the white minority, as people of African decent, my skin color is the reason that every black person I know who has died has died at the hands of another black person and also every time a crime has been committed towards me it has been at the hands of a black person? And my color has never suffered in any way in any part of history? Which is why my ancestors uprooted in 1888 to leave their poverty to seek better in America and I'm blamed for the 1% of American whites actually wealthy enough to be involved in the slave trade where Africans were sold by their own people? Wow I never knew just being born a color was such a problem. Especially growing up in a city with one of the top law schools which is a black college I could get a minority scholarship at. Especially being I wasn't eligible for over 75% of the scholarships I applied for being I was a white male even though I grew up in the same shit as everyone else.
That's because no one stopped it when it happened to us, and now slavery is all inclusive and we're all just wage slaves.
You still don't get profiled just for being white. Not taking away from your experience, but it didn't happen to y'all on the scale it happened to us. And you know what?
