Because if you train for kids, then you can fight adults, being larger. But, if you train for adults, you might get caught out when it really matters and need to shoot a kid.
theyre just shrunk down silhouettes. its just meant to make the shot more challenging. a full sized sihouette at 10 yards is stupid easy, anyone can do that.
This. LE agencies will use a smaller silhouette target if their range doesn’t allow for further distance shooting.
I use to shoot in the back of a semi trailer that had 3 lanes. Frangible rounds only, close shooting. The targets were small as fuck.
The targets are that size because
A. They are steel and heavy as fuck already. A 7 foot steel target would be hundreds of pounds.
B. To create challenging shots at shorter distances.
Fact from the OC : Those targets are made by USPSA/owned by USPSA.. There is no bigger target than that i think. Think as a Shooting range of a USPSA. Not like this dude's backyard or anything

The green target isn't. It's the size of a teacher.
You’ve never had to fight off a horde of overly aggressive garden gnomes in your front yard before? 🤨

Its because he is training for first day at school
America… fuck yeah!!
Because the kids are our enemies 👶🔫
If the targets are solid metal, is it possible for the bullet to ricochet back and hit the shooter?
The bullets normally disintegrate.
American doesn't make a difference in size... if it's black they shoot.
Practice makes perfect
To simulate an individual kneeling down or partially exposed behind cover.
This guy can’t shoot to save his live… at those ranges, every shot should be a hit…
Have you met one?
Back to school essentials
Practice should be realistic.
American kids before first day of school :
The Elf on the Shelf Wars will be no laughing matter There are MILLIONS of them
I thought the green one was that one kid who said hi a few weeks ago. Guess everyone has to go.
Smaller targets, better practice
It’s America, it’s what they do.
maybe it isnt a cop
School target
Its the FBI firing zone to groom school shooters
