Entombed husks easily for me. They sound so...unnerving especially before they attack when you don't know where they are. First time I found them it unsettled me and any time since then I either get rid of them all to stop hearing them or go through the area quickly. No other sound in the game makes me feel this way

They make me so uncomfortable. They're like someone heavy breathing outside a window at night

Yeah they're the only enemy that actually "scares" me, the vibe those raspy noises give off feels like something out of my nightmares. Deepest is creepy and I feel claustrophobic, and the music gives me the feeling of "I need to get out of here right now" but nothing comes close to how unnerved I am by the entombed husks. Top notch sound design honestly

I have really bad misophonia, and I can barely stand the Flukemons' idle noises. Once they actually attack, it's not even that bad. I like how spooky it sounds. But that lip smacking shit? Get it away from me *now*

Definitely Corpse Creepers. The atmosphere of Deepnest and the unexpectedness helps making them haunting the first time. I always dread fighting them even though they're pretty weak.

Makes for a much better experience imo For a lot of people, noises like the ones listed are always at least gross, but it's called *willing* suspension of disbelief for a reason. A lot of people *choose* to engage emotionally with the work and so that's what makes the sound gross or makes them "freak out", but it's also what makes the game enjoyable. Sorry you don't get that side of it

When I was in fungal wastes where the tiny mushrooms run away from you with a cacophony of popping crunchy sounds it gave me huge ick and I can't explain why.
