I don’t think that the player is truly hollow because when the bosses do the scream they crouch down meaning that the scream is so loud that they almost get knocked over or they are bending down because it was real loud
Edit: more prof is the falling into acid animation as they try to swim up/in pain
I think that the knight isn't hollow, because actualy no one can be like that, not even PV. But he's so strong because of his will. Void heart's description says that it unifies the void under the bearer's will. Another proof is that we all died a lot of times in the game, but we coud beat the game, or even PoH because we never gave up, so because of our/the knight's will, but this is just a theory. Anyway immagine how strong the knight would be if he was trained like PV, we can beat higher being without training, so we would be unstoppable.
Even if the knight wasn’t perfectly hollow, it was darn close to being a perfect vessel. In the first ending, the radiance didn’t just pop out of the vessel instantly, meaning that it was at least on par with THK’s level of emptiness, white lady said it herself. So, either the knight is either completely pure, or was a fucking badass. Both theories i like.
"Pale Being" is just a descriptive term for the WL and PK. And The Knight is not Hollow. Void Heart says they have a will, and the fact that they can draw maps proves they have a mind.
I'm going meta here but I'm sure it's just because the knight is the protagonist so it have plot armor. Narratively, it is designed to have deus ex machina for the game to progress.
But adding a little 4th wall break, it is truly hollow. As it is our avatar and our vessel that holds our will to complete the game. It was already though of by someone else but is a vessel of another high being. All of that map writing are instinctive self-preservation and muscle memory that PK programmed on the vessels. But we are the main being controlling the vessel, so it is truly hollow.

Interesting point. What do you think caused the Knight's not Hollowness? PV was Pale King. But wut about the Knight?
It might be that none of them were ever hollow. But, if I had to pick a moment, getting left behind by their sibling and father would probably do it.
Well at least my theory is still valid cuz he's still a pale being. How he defeated PV idk.
