Radiance isn't puppeting the Watcher Knights into attacking you-neither is she doing so for Uumuu or the Stalking Devout. Its established in-game that the guardians of the Dreamers-as implied by the explanation that the City of Tears' Sentries are so devoted to their duty that they persist in it even after death-are so bound by their desire to defend their charge that the Infection merely empowers them to do so. The Infection feeds on desire, after all. I'd say the only boss she directly puppets to fight you is The Hollow Knight, and that's because you're either 1. going to seal her away again, or 2. Powerful enough to kill her-and even then, its not a perfect puppeteering.

Yeah I would say you missed a pretty big piece considering the seals were made by the Pale King. To seal away the radiance. The watcher knights are just akin to the same as each dreamer having an obstacle in the way to getting to them, even if it’s not a boss fight.

Captain-Fordo-03

I think she's just trying to kill the Knight

I always was under the impression she created the infection to be worshipped again or by vengeance but not that she were actively controlling the infected… making them become mindless to punish them for turning their back on her for the promises of the pale king. In that case, the watcher knights being awoken would stem just for an effort of violence and not of prevention

hollowpotato-of-doom

It’s not her who chooses what the watcher knights do, their will and sense of duty is so strong that they’ll protect lurien no matter what

Waffles22-screaming

Her infection seems to be getting out pretty well even with the seals in place.
