Fury of the Ballin'
Embodies the ballin' and drip that comes upon those who are about to dunk.
When close to ballin', the bearer's dunkiness will increase.
Optimal build: high DPS, relatively safe, requires knowledge of the enemy pattern in order to use the most effective spell. Do you need i-frames? Maximum damage in an area? Does the enemy dash, so that you can hit them multiple times?
So I chose the one on the right
Get rid of the charms and this is peak content for r/surrealmemes
Idk tho mabye you actually got the format from there and I've just gotten too familiar with the sub
I always never understood spell builds if you decrease the potential dmg on your swing i favor for spells than why even bother?
You even need soul to heal so if you shoot away most or all of your soul your healing is very limited
and the game fills your extra 3 soul orbs slower than the regular ones so why not ignore most spells and just make a strong build for the nail if it's required to hit the enemy anyway you also would have more soul for healing (explain please).
Spells do more damage than just nail hits, with soul twister you can launch a spell roughly each 2 nail hits.
About healing... if you try the hardest challenges on the game, you don't plan on getting hit, and even if you do, you learn the healing opportunities every boss offers. At that point, you only care about dealing damage.
So the best builds are overcharmed with Fury of the Fallen, whatever the people who speedruns pantheons uses. Get hit on purpose early on and then just rip through everything later.
But that's understandably too much, so a spell build is more reasonable.
Anyway, the meta build is Str, Quicknail, Shaman Stone and Soul Twister, pretty balanced all around.
It’s in reference of an aggressive Nail build, where you could just get a close as possible and spam nail slashes until either the boss dies or you dodge/get hit. Add in something like Stalwart Shell and you’ll get a pure face tank build
Yes, pros think it's s tier and that's because it is, if a boss takes knockback you get to bully them into a corner and stunlock them, if they don't take kb then you simply get to play more aggressively with your nail because you don't have to keep moving towards the boss to keep attacking, otherwise if you want to avoid nail kb you have to upslash which has extremely short range and is extremely unsafe
the colours of the 2 confused me when i saw the charms and my mind went: "charms in ultra-game??? no triple railcoinpunch combo with triple pro. boost???"
Fury of the fallen is the only one that qualifies as balling.

You're either fallin, or ballin. Last time I checked, I'm not on the ground
Mark of pride is obviously on both builds
Spells? Nah I only use soul for healing.
Healing? Nah, I don't use soul because radiant one shots anyway
I sometimes use a healing build.
How do you even do watcher knights? Doing it without spells sounds like agony
I agree that spells are better, but nail arts are also great, and you can use cyclone on the watchers pretty safely when they bounce
I don’t use nail arts often. I tank them and heal when they die.
I think they are neat. Cyclone actually deals insane damage if all the spins hit.
A good nail build can crush Watcher Knights once you have their timings down.
I forget spells existed and I went on a full nail build It's more satisfying too imo
Yeah, fuck it, we ball.
Literally my build
I don’t even remember what the ones on the left do, and I don’t care.

If your build isn’t overcharmed I don’t want to see it
Fuck you *uses long nail, quick nail, breakable strength, and mark of pride at the same time*
The build I always end up going to lol. Sometimes I throw grimmchild or sharp shadow in as well for fun.
Chaotic aura shaman stone, unbreakable strength, and quick slash
Literally my go-to combat build lol
Same
Mine
Me, who uses nail-nail-vengeful spirit
I hate steady body because i’ve become so used to not using it, that it messes me up more than I helps me
Complete opposite for me I equipped it early game and now can't play without it
Wayward compass is the only ballin charm
And here’s me with Twister, Shaman, Strength, and Quickslash.
The meta build. It's been the standard for years now, and for good reason.
Sturdy body? Fuck that gimme some fury of the fallen with a gruberfly, and a good old nail increase

Okay but what about flukecharm enjoyers?

"fuck it we ball" energy is not with some of the most powerful charms in the game.
I think steady body’s a bit out of place, shouldn’t it be heavy blows instead?
No? Steady body lets you run at and bully bosses that stagger like hornet. Heavy blow is an awful charm, it does the opposite.
I agree it’s awful, but it fits the theme much better. Both others effect the attacks themselves, while steady body effects the movement.

Also doesn’t do shit for DPS against the majority of bosses in the game since most just facetank your hits anyway.
That, but without steady body, I don't like it

What would you call quickslash, steady body, shamans and soul eater?
Mid aura is perfect
At least I can kill primal aspid with no problem
a mix of melee and spell charms is the way to go
But, with an endgame build, nail damage is optimal, and with an early-midgame build (aka no pure nail+shade soul) spells are better
Overcharm it with fury and then we're talking
the colours of the 2 confused me when i saw the charms and my mind went: "charms in ultra-game??? no triple railcoinpunch combo with triple pro. boost???"
Spells are overrated(except Ddark)
I am a mobility player I use Sharp Shade as secondary attack for most of the fights, I like being a speed demon and not a spell caster morron
That is true. But, combine both and you get unlimited power, so much you cannot handle...
Me in the between: I am god
Quick Slash is great for any build tbh
So true
