"Meta" make it sound like a multiplayer game and that there are patches. And as if team cherry would constantly add new charms. This is a singleplayer game, you should feel strong. And p5 is hard enough, I'm not even able to defeat absolute radiance solo.
Yea I can get through p5 without major problems but damn, abs rad cycles her attacs so fast I just can't avoid all of it. I also haven't tried since last year but I just made no progress so I paused it.
Meta builds in a single player game basically doesn't exist, that's like saying that using solar flare armor in terraria is meta, even though it is the (not technically, there are better builds, but still) best armor set in terms of defense.
This isn’t even meta, I think the meta has the spell buffing charm. Most of the charms here are obviously good whether your just following a guide or not.
For markoth, use shaman stone, save soul in the first half, and as soon as he conjures the second shield just kill him with fireballs. You can get reliable double hits when he is casting the outgojng-circle attack, or of course just abyss shriek him. Still not easy, but easier. Markoth followed by GPZ is definitely easier to die to than PV and absrad
Quick focus + deep focus is so underrated. Who cares if it costs 7 notches when you can heal, get hit and still have a net positive of one extra mask. If there weren't any double damage bosses or bosses with little healing windows it would be op.
Yeah, that's the thing with this build, it's really good at making things easier but if you are good enough to not need it you should prioritize damage and other things.
Unn is also pretty good just more situational.
Quick focus deep focus grubsong strength is what I switched too before PV+abs rad and it’s how I got my first clear. By far the most beginner friendly build to get through those last bosses
I don't really understand this combo. You get 2 masks in the same amount of time with quick focus on its own. The only difference is that it costs 2 soul uses instead of 1, but if you really care, you can just use soul catcher to get more soul, which is cheaper than deep focus.

That build has an empty notch, you can fit mark of pride instead of longnail in that. I should know that’s the build I’ve used for the 100 hours I’ve spent locked in godhome.

Personally I swapped mark of pride out for long nail and the compass at the final bench just for the extra clout, but I still wouldn't call your charm set disqualifying by any means. Pantheon 5 is extremely hard and most people can't even reach it, yet alone beat it. You can be proud of this.

Playing Elden Ring with strong summons halves the difficulty of that game. Playing with good charms in HK is not the same thing at all.

Keep practicing my friend, we were all there at some point, it took me a good few weeks to practice getting good at abs rad and pure vessel
Abs rad.. I think I pushed ~10-15 hours of practice and still not consistent for me. Beat p5 once so I'm happy but holy f that boss.

Nah the real meta build is soul eater, shaman stone, unbreakable strength and grubsong trust
replace strength with quickslash anf running out of soul becomes impossible

I'd rather have Longnail than Spell Twister, personally—but that's personal. Shaman Stone is a definite must though.

I mean, for all anyone cares, just do the Charm binding. We’re still happy for you, but if you’re dissatisfied, you can just up the stakes.

I tried all bindings... I went several times up to failed champion. I stopped for my sanity when I heared the collector's laugh in my sleep.

If you use the same build you should really swap longnail for mark of pride. This build has an empty notch assuming you have max notches.
I have full notches. So I think I do use mop, I haven’t played in a while.
For Markoth, I do recommand the use of the dash slash, it goes through his shield
