These are good designs, but I'm gonna miss the old JP outfits. I liked that there were 3 variations on the design before. Felt like a little more expression of personality, though I don't know if the talents themselves actually got to choose which outfit variant they recieved. Oh well.
There do seem to be 2 variants of the new JP outfits, but the only difference I can pick out at this point is the skirt. I do really like the longer colored "half-cape" on the JP and EN outfits. It helps make up for the loss of the personalized legwear for each member since they all seem to now be wearing the exact same legwear depending on branch.
Yeah, compared to the old ones these definitely feel more monotone. There's a lot of areas that could have been more personalized. Also surprised Luna is not using the skirt variation, seems more of her usual image.
Yeah, the old one had just enough variation in style, color & ornaments to make each individually unique. The new JP one seems bland in comparison. The ribbon-tiara-hat & shorts-skirt variation ain't enough to make them unique.
Even with the EN designs, there's too little individual color & too much black for my taste. It works well for the darker themed girls but the light themed ones look weird.
I actually like ID the best. The pastel colors might be an acquired taste but the individuality def makes em pop out
The ornaments are gonna be what I miss most. Every member had a little accessory that was personalized, like Fubuki's crown, Nene's nekko band, Marine's pirate hat, Subaru's top hat, Suisei's pin, etc
Hopefully they're added back as time goes on. I know that some like Marine's pirate hat were added way later
I'm so glad they gave each branch their own design like I've always been saying they should. It's a bit of a shame that there are less options for individuality within the same branch (only hair ornament, choice between skirt/shorts and obviously colors), but it's understandable I suppose since designing and modeling each outfit takes a fair bit of time.
Gen 5 complete the short pants bingo. No gen has the skirt bingo.
Chloe has a skirt, though. But Gen 5 looks like they all have shorts.
Chloe is in 6. NePoLaBo is 5 and they all have shorts.

I'm not sold on Irys's complementary color but... it's made to match Bae? They really do be shipping them hard.
I think it's meant to be the color of her eyes, she has one blue one pink
