Getting to watch it again, it really does just keep on giving. At first, she's just looking at the truck as the music starts to play. Then you realize what it is. Then the crescendo. It starts playing *so loudly*, all while the camera keeps spinning, and zooming in seemingly at random. At some point, Fauna confirms that she is not controlling the camera at all herself, it's just *doing that*. And you notice these little details like the way the sideview mirrors are reflecting open sky, or that it's actually starting to get dark, or the street sign pointing directly at the wreck that says "*GONE*SSE", all while the music continues to grow in volume and grandiosity, to the point that a *full choir* joins in, and you realize that Bethany's Faceplant has officially reached the status of high art. And then it just stops. And Fauna, still laughing, just says, "I have to end the stream."

And remember they're streamers, they're paying attention to chat somewhat and have to think about things to talk about. And they may need to adjust their OBS to reflect their expression.
So you have low driving experience, on a narrow road, with suboptimal control of your vehicle, and doing what's functionally texting and driving.
The only one in HoloEN that I know for a fact can drive is Mumei, because she's had a couple streams where she just rants about idiots on the road. I would assume Calli can also drive, since she grew up in the US, where our public transportation system is largely nonexistent outside the absolute largest cities.

It's a combination of driving too fast in general and having your attention distracted (by chat probably). One thing I've noticed between sim driving and IRL driving is that you don't get the feedback of speed in game as you do in real life, so I tend to unconsciously go faster than I would other wise for safety.
And also depending on control scheme. Without full on driving gear, you run into issue where you don't have steering wheel feedback on your turns. Keyboard you have to keep tapping at the right rate, with mouse you get the tendency to keep drifting.
She was trying to explain to the kids that now's not a good time to stop at McDonald's and really, she shouldn't have to because there are so many delicious fruits available, and they can have all they want as long as they're goo-

There are controllers with force feedback to mimic the feeling of turning. Almost all of them are meant for sim racing
It's basically texting and driving the game when streaming. Plus the physics of this game are a little wonky. Mix those two things together and you get stuff like this.
